Calling myself out. I got married in my EARLY 20s. Hubby and I separated not even a year into the marriage (we both knew it was a mistake). I met another man and we dated. I was not yet divorced, hence I cheated on my husband.
Oh, and the juicy part? The man I cheated with? That's my hubby! This year we've been together 10 years, married 5!

I am assuming you're referencing to the cheating on my husband one so here goes...
There was a time shortly after we were married and DH & I were going through a VERY rough time and I felt like DH no longer loved me and I didn't feel wanted or appreciated. We would try to talk but it turned into screaming matches and we never got anywhere.
Well there was a guy at work at the time who gave me what I felt I was missing from DH ( attention, laughter, etc) and at first we hung out after work at Buffalo Wild Wings or go to the bar with a group of people and it was innocent - no intentions of anything. Then as it continued things became a little more intimate. I would have this guy pick me up when DH was home so he'd see me leave, etc. All I wanted was for DH to ask me once to stay (he knew what I was doing) and each time I would leave, DH would stare at the TV and not say anything or he would say "bye". He had stopped saying "I love you" so that didn't help matters either.
One night I found myself at a hotel with this guy (no sex took place - though he wanted it) because we both drank way too much and neither of us was in any condition to drive and I was too embarrassed to call DH and ask him to come get me. I had this reality check of "what the f am I doing" so in the morning I had this guy drop me off and told DH we needed counseling and we called our pastor and set up our first session together and individually.
Fast forward to now: things are 10 time better than they were before all this happened and as much as I regret what I did and feel awful as hell about it I am glad DH and I are where we are now.

@yellow1daisy I actually read that wrong but I'll explain anyways. I didn't cheat on my husband, just my long time high school boyfriend (6 years which ran over into one year of college). At the end of our relationship, I reconnected with a high school friend (who admittedly flirted with me a lot in high school) and we got really flirty really fast. Mostly over text, but it progressed to us hanging out, "sexting" (I know, it's ridiculous), and we were halfway in a relationship without being official even though I was still technically dating my HS bf. There was also a time when he was over and, well I could do the whole sappy story, but we were watching this show, and there was this romantic moment, and we ended up kissing and things progressed from there. And I can't say it was completely unplanned, as there was birth control that needed pre-prepping that was ready to go. After that I knew I had to break up with my boyfriend, but he beat me to it. The relationship had honestly been rocky for months. It was shocking, but I wasn't even really that upset, and two days later I started dating the guy I was fooling around with. He is now my husband and the father of my baby
