Hello Everyone!

I know we have a few more weeks until we find out the gender, but I have been getting gender guesses from some friends and family already! This is for fun, has anyone gotten any gender guesses yet? What do you think?

I have been pinning girl and boy nursery themes on pinterest to help me get through the nausea, sickness and general sleepiness! Anyone with me?

I have been given a few guesses of girl from family and friends. One of my friends said she's only been wrong one time when guessing gender. so we shall see! The men in my FH family typically have boys.

ETA. Added questions, don't know how it got left off!

I visited my friends city and her daughter came to me with open arms (she's seen me twice in two years) and her mom said she's not the friendly type. She predicts I'm having a boy...says kids like the opposite. Yesterday at work a client brought her 10 month old son, I tried to hold him and he screamed. Lol maybe I am having a boy.

I have no idea about the sex of the baby. No intuition whatsoever. Only about 3 other people (outside of medical professionals and a handful of bartenders) know about the pregnancy, so no guesses from anyone else either.

I've had two dreams with baby boys in them so I'm leaning that way. My husband is the only boy on his side of the family so if we have a son, he can carry on the family name, but we don't
care either way. Just happy and healthy.

I keep getting girl guesses - DH keeps saying girl, so does my family. I flip flop - I'd take either but I love my girl names more

Everyone, including me, has a feeling it's going to be a girl. But I have a five year old boy, four nieces, and no nephews, so for my son's sake, another boy in our family would be nice. Haha!

Everyone guesses boy just because this pregnancy is so different. Everyone guessed boy with my last one too though. She came out a girl.
Chinese calendar says girl, it said girl last time too. So it would be fun if the 50/50 chance could work again lol. We'd be happy with either but we'd also love to have two girls.

My husband says if there's a God at all, I'm pregnant with a girl hahaha. Because he wants a boy. I'm feeling like its a boy.

I have a group of online friends that swear by pancakes. If you crave pancakes, it's a girl. It's been almost always right. I've been loving pancakes. Both of my kids say it's a girl. We'll see!

I kinda think it's a girl and my husband has no feeling either way. But I have dreamt that it's a boy too. I don't know haha. Everyone in my family thinks it's a boy. I cannot wait to find out next month!

hahaha... I craved blueberry pancakes with my son. I craved spicy food and citrus fruits with my daughter and carbs with my son.

So my mom has a theory that she claims is proven. If you DTD in the morning and on top, it will be a boy. If you DTD later in the day, it will be a girl. Because the boy sperm swim faster in the beginning of the day whereas the girl sperm swim the same speed all the time. lmao I don't know if I believe it, but she swears by it. So based on her thoughts, I'm having a girl.

Chinese calendar says girl as well. DH is hoping for a boy and keeps calling it "him".

I've wanted and had pancakes everyday to get me through morning sickness for the past 3 week haha. So def leaning towards a girl.

I am bummed when you say most will be learning the sex/gender in a few weeks. I have to wait 10 more weeks. My office only does US at 19weeks and we aren't doing any blood tests with the baby to find out sooner

Hubby and I want a girl only because we have the coolest girl name picked out.

Either way, we are very adamant about raising our children gender neutral.

And even though it's highly controversial, we will withhold the gender (sex, whatever) until the baby shower. I feel this is the only way to prevent receiving a billion pink dresses if it is a girl.

@Natsuki we are doing the same thing and it is quite unpopular among DH's family. We are staying strong though! Good luck! I am super gender-neutral and trying to get DH in that state of mind now too, so if our girl wears a baby blue sleep sack at bed time, who the EFF cares?! He keeps making comments like "If it's a boy we would be outside playing hockey on the pond right now" or "my son and I will work on my car together". I did both those things as a kid and I think I turned out ok! It will be a process though

That's a really good idea. I want people to give us practical stuff. We are going to find out what genitalia the fetus is sportin' but withholding that info sounds smart!

DH feels like our fetus has female genitalia. I have no intuition whatsoever. That Chinese calendar on this website says male genitalia.

I also didn't think wording mattered since we all knew what it meant. I guess I also didn't realize that you had to say sex of the baby rather than gender. They both seem to imply the same thing at stage and will until we get to know our LOs.

@budzynb lmao how funny! I may have a girl based on that theory! I will have to wait a while until I find out what we are having! If we find out at 20 weeks that means we will find out in April! I am hoping we can find out sooner! I have my first appointment next week to find out my official due date!

@Natsuki Do you mind if I ask what you are thinking? Or are you keeping the name a secret? Also, that is such a good idea! I may consider withholding the sex/gender as well.

I have a feeling mine is a boy. I have always assumed I would have a boy even before I got pregnant--not sure why! I will be super excited for either. Old wives' tales are split at about 50/50 so we shall see! I can't wait to find out!

I'm thinking girl and so the mister! For the past few generations all of the girls in my family have girls first and the boys have boys first. So we're just kind of expecting it lol I'm so excited either way!

@jpearl2307 I couldn't tell you what makes me think I am having a boy.
I have no symptoms to scrutinize (I didn't have many with my son either), but it's not even that. I just cannot imagine a girl and everything just tells me boy.
Oh and I did have a tarot card reader tell me I would have two boys, too.

I'm feeling a good bit different than I did with DS, I was super sick, diarrhea and vomiting. This time it's just diarrhea. Heart rate was 180s with him, 171 at my ultrasound last week. I really wouldn't mind having another boy, but I'd love to have one of each. We have a girl name, but we can't decide on a boy name because DS's name has so much meaning. I also want a girl just to spite my FIL. He was so obsessed with carrying on the family name that I legitimately felt like he'd be mad at me if I had a girl. DH'S sister is due 2.5 weeks before me and he keeps saying she's going to have a girl and I'm going to have another boy. I don't know why, but it pisses me off to no end. Yesterday they came by and he was suggesting all these dumb names and I'm like you named your kids, it's our turn. Our son in Henry James, after him and my dad. His name is James Bryan, but he goes by Bryan. My dad is Henry Timothy, but goes by Tim. DH is Nathan Bryan, but his dad wanted to name him Jesse James (ewwww) and he constantly pushes that name on us. DH'S sister is Rebecca Nicole after her mom, but goes by Nikki. He was pushing us to use another H name. Sorry for the rant.
