Glucose test and check up on Wednesday. I had a baaaaad bought of food poisoning which caused some major dehydrating/leg cramping issues right after Christmas so I'm anxious for reassurance that everything is looking good.
I have a regular appointment tomorrow. My OB will give me the glucose drink to take home and I will have to drink it before my next appointment. I feel like it's kinda late. I will be about 29 weeks when they do my test.
Going in Thursday for an ultrasound to get a couple pictures of her heart that we couldn't get at the anatomy scan. Excited to get an extra little peek at her!
@chelle087 I'll be 28 weeks for mine.. that's normal for my Dr office.. I did have an early one at 16 weeks since I had gestational with my daughter but will have another at 28 weeks.
I have an OB appointment tomorrow. They'll also be checking cervical length, which I'm a bit worried about after going into L & D with cramping last week.
I went in for an OB appointment today. Dragged the toddler in and was on time. I peed in the cup and went back to the front desk to check in. Nope. My appointment is tomorrow! I was embarrassed but, happy that I was 24hrs early for a Drs. appointment. That has never happened.
I had an OB appt last Thursday and she measured my belly and my uterus measures at 34 weeks - I'm 26 weeks... crazy! On Friday, I had my glucose test. This Thursday I have my big ultrasound; I can't wait to see the boys! Then we go to meet with the daycare again to firm up our plans. Next week's ANOTHER OB appointment and next Friday we meet with a Pediatrician. My next 3 appts are every other week and then after that they are twice weekly. It's getting real!!!!

I'm just waiting for my OB, but my ultrasound went well. Cervix is still long and closed, thankfully. Baby is 712g at 23 weeks, which is pretty big. She's still moving around like crazy.
My appointment isn't until tomorrow, but I got my blood work results back today (via my patient portal thing). Tested negative for GD, no antibodies were found in my blood (which is good cause I'm RH negative), but I am anemic. I was anemic for the last two pregnancies, as well, and had to take iron supplements.
I have an appointment tomorrow. It wasn't supposed to be until next week but they have had me testing my blood sugar at home for the last 2 weeks(I can't do the syrup drink because my history of gastric bypass) and my numbers are terrible. So they wanted to see me early to check over everything and get me set up for my GD class ASAP. Oh Joy. They typically don't test until 28 weeks but I had elevated fluid at my last IS which is a sign of GD. I didn't have it with DD so this is a whole new ballgame for me. Looks like any chance of a vbac have gone out the window. Boo.
Had my anatomy scan today! Baby is looking amazing! Everything is measuring and working properly, I am so relieved! She was mostly cooperative, she just wouldn't budge to get a good shot at her spine so I'll have to go back, but since her brain looks good it's unlikely there is a spine issue.
I have my regular monthly OB appointment tomorrow. We're going to go over my glucose test/blood work...I passed the GD screening (with 50 points lower than last time, so she's now pretty sure that I did have mild GD since I borderline passed by tests with DS and he was massive), but I'm pretty anemic so she wants to get me on an additional iron supplement. Probably means I'll be headed to constipation central; bah.
Regular appointment today. Everything looks good. All of my blood work came back normal and my BP was a miraculous 116/62. Next appointment I get my rhogam shot. Can't believe I'll be 30 weeks at my next appointment!
I am having an "emergency scan" tomorrow (hopefully it is not as bad as they made it sound) to check whether the baby and the placenta are exchanging blood properly. Wish me luck please

@smallanimal Good luck on your scan! Please come back and update us. What is the reasoning behind this emergency scan? Were you experiencing any weird symptoms?
I had my glucose test today, and I'm so nervous about the results. Saw my OB while I was waiting for the blood draw, and he did an ultrasound to see how baby girl was doing; everything seems to be on track as far as HR and weight goes.
My doctor has done an ultrasound at every single appointment, is anyone else having this experience? I don't mind getting to see the baby so often, but it just feels like a little much. I had the same MD for my first daughter, and after the anatomy scan, all he used was the Doppler. Just seems weird to me.
@jfochtman, My ob personally does a quick ultrasound on a smaller machine at every appointment until AS, AS is done by actually Sono person (still at on office) with high tech machine, then usually one appt between that and glucose test then at glucose test week I get another Sono on high tech machine. After that it's no more til right at end to double check position. That's just being a standard, no risks patient! I love getting all the quick peeks though!
I had an appt this week at 25w2d. Drctalked about how my next appt will be glucose test and Rhogam shot (A- blood type) and she gave me my third trunks key since I'm almost there. Wake up call!
With DS, I believe I only got about 3 ultrasounds total (dating, NT, anatomy). With this one, I've gotten an ultrasound at every appointment I've gone to so far (7 ultrasounds in total so far). I'd love for that to continue, but I don't think it will. I think things just kind of played out a little weird this time around.
No I don't get u/s that often at all. The dating u/s and anatomy scan are it unless I'm measuring concerning my off late in pregnancy. I had an additional early one week 9 since my last loss was then. I'm good with that. I actually didn't even want 3.
I had a dating scan, NT scan, and A/S by the MFM people, and a quick US by my OB (because my A/S was lame since a student did it and my dr wanted to show me the fun stuff). I'll get one more around 35 weeks or so. Definitely not at every appointment.

I keep hearing from middle aged women about how they got one and that was it. Which is true for that era. My doc normally only does two. This time I had an early dating ultrasound and one at the time of my previous loss like @MWoodside did. Then I got a bonus last week after baby girl didn't cooperate for the a/s. I don't think I get any more unless there's a problem. They do always check heartbeat but that's not exciting because I have my own Doppler at home that's just as good as theirs. But they also only use the high tech ones and I don't think they have a simple ultrasound machine that they use for anything. I'm grateful to have gotten four, especially the two in the first trimester!
I had zero with DD and 1 with this lo. Unless there is a concern, I think frequent ones seem to be an unnecessary expense. But I wouldn't object to seeing baby more often!

@cafedisco Oh gosh, why did you point that out? Now I'm REALLY freaking out...I have wayyy too much to do in just 3 months!! Oy.
RE: Ultrasounds: With DS I had 3 - dating, anatomy scan, and a growth scan at about 37 weeks because I was measuring big and they wanted to make sure he had flipped from being breech. With this one, I've had 2 so far - the dating and anatomy scans, and unless anything weird happens in the next few weeks, that should be it. Otherwise I just get the doppler HB check at my appointments. Though, my OB's office is a very small private practice (one doctor and one nurse) and they do not have an US machine in office, so I have to get sent to the sonography lab whenever I need a scan.
Thinking of you this morning @smallanimal - keep us posted!
Re: ultrasounds - I've had 2 (at 8 and 20 weeks) and at my last appt, OB said I *may* have one around 36-37 weeks to confirm positioning but not sure yet.
I just checked my insurance portal because I was curious and haven't seen any bills, and my anatomy scan bill (plus the OB visit afterwards I assume, because there is only one charge) was $440 total. So $8,000 seems totally crazy!!

Sorry @SnarkasaurusRex! You got this though! A lot can happen in 3 months.
A random regarding ultrasounds - the center billed $8,000 for mine. Luckily I dont owe any of that but I couldn't believe that's how much they bill.
