I just found out that ouR new community does not allow cars to park in the street overnight. We only have a one car garage and the driveway is narrow.

So every morning I'll have to move my husband's car out into the street (he gets home late at night and will be blocking my car) to leave for work each morning. That will be great when I'm transporting the baby. Yay.
@Knottie42089123 could you park in the street and when your husband gets home he can play the car game. Lol. Although it would suck to have to scrape a car in the winter.
That's a great idea!! I'll share with DH and it'll also show value add from spending countless hours on here :-)

we actually play a similar game as we have a narrow driveway and no overnight street parking in the winter so when im on my way home after DH ill text him to get his butt out of the driveway or else he will be doing the shuffle.  very very rarely does it happen that i have to do the shuffle in the morning and generally its on a monday when we didn't pay attention to how we were parked.

We spent our first official night in the house and DH did the 2 car shuffle! I got in my car and sped off this am. :-)

In other news, when I got home last night the thermostat was set to 45 degrees and it took HOURS to get it up to 70. Mind you its 7 degrees out in Chicago. I spent a good amount of the evening in my coat and hat.
