I'm totally going to aw. But I did three crafts this weekend! Not baby related at all. But I love them too much. This first one is a Christmas gift for my parents not perfect as I wish my spacing had been different. But by the time I got to this one it was midnight and o was tired. Lol The second picture is for myself. Maybe in my room, but I'm not sure yet. And then the third is my outdoor Christmas tree! That thing took so long to make. Like 6 hours. But I love it so much!
So... I know the styles aren't exactly the same, but I made the blanket (and messed it up royally, but that's another story...) a few days ago and loved the critters so much I decided to do some photoshopping to make some woodland critter prints as well. Not that we really have a theme, but I'm happy with it.
I need some advice from crocheting/knitting ladies. Have you washed your projects after they're finished? I'm almost done with the baby blanket and I'm wondering if I should wash it before she uses it and then when it's being used. And how should I wash it? I know bleach is bad obviously and probably I'll have to hand wash it. But I've never washed anything I've made lol.
What kind of yarn did you use @becbec28? If it's acrylic, it will be fine to machine wash, but don't wash it with anything that has velcro or zippers that could snag it! Cotton would be ok to machine wash too but will shrink some. Wash on cold and fluff in the dryer just a little, then hang dry. I would definitely wash it though before baby uses it. You never know what kind of residue, dyes, pesticides or whatever could be on yarn or fabric.
So crocheters Santa is bringing me some stuff to hopefully start learning!! My plan is to tackle a baby blanket for the little guy... even if it falls apart, I'll always remember my first try Oh so that means I might be bugging you guys with questions soon lol

Also side project of an anemone bouquet. No idea what I'll be doing with this yet. About 1/3 done.
@LilyASF42 I bet your mil will love that gift!

I started this beauty last weekend. I've made it my life's mission to have it done before she gets here!
