This is our 3rd child.
We have a boy named Hoyt! Hoyt is actually a bow company. His name totally fits him and we love it.
Our daughters name is Kimberlyn. We call her Kimber. Which is a gun.

Umm....cool?! I'm not sure of the intent of this new thread you've created. We have a Baby Names thread where you can get some inspiration for baby #3 or just lament about the struggles of naming a third. Also, there is a separate Baby Names board that you can post on and get other's suggestions.

You didn't actually ask a question. This is a community, we take the time to read and respond to each other' threads in addition to getting our own needs met. If you don't have time to look through other threads what makes you think we have time to read and respond to yours?

what's rude is coming into an established community and not even lurking or anything. You just started your very own thread when the one called "BABY NAMES" is legitimately the first thread on the board. You say you only get on here to ask questions to people you don't know, try participating in some of the fun and maybe people would be more welcoming to your random thread that doesn't even ask a question.

@hooper2014 it wasn't meant to be rude. They were teasing suggestions because I didn't know what else you wanted us to say. You didn't ask a question so I thought you were simply sharing your story about your other kids so I jokingly offered a few more for you. But it really would be easier for you to post in the baby names thread if you have an actual question.

Ugh, her comment was absolutely not rude. Your OP did not ask a question, so she directed you to two very valuable resources to help you with baby names.

Imagine that you walked into a room of people who you didn't know and loudly declared "woe is me! naming a baby is so hard!" and walked out. That's pretty much what your post was like. We are a pretty established community at this point. You have not been very active here, and we don't know you. If anyone in this situation was rude, it was you, OP, for ignoring all of the norms we have established in this community, barging in, and making a post all about yourself.

Andplusalso, looking at your post history, you already posted about being at a loss for a girl name and were directed to the same resources BY THE SAME PERSON.

I have talked about "you all" as a support group to my DH and how much I enjoy TB, and all of the responses to @KirstinH88's comment make me feel like others view our group the same way.
