@morgy_bee One suggestion would be to start pumping in the hospital either tandem or immediately after BF your new LO. My LC suggested I did this with my 2nd since I had supply issues/pumps issues with my first. It helped me.

We're letting our oldest, DD R (she'll be 4 in January) tell her grandparents on Christmas. While shopping this weekend, she did tell DH that she missed Mommy, C, and baby and wanted to go home. DD C will say baby and pat or kiss my belly, but she's a little too young to really understand.
How many children: I feel a little out of place here. Lol. I've had 7. DD (10), DS (8), DS (6), DS (stillborn at 38 wks 10/19/11), DD (4), DS (2), DD(1).
How is is this pregnancy different? Much earlier symptoms. Lots of cramping a week after ovulation. I also have felt cold. A little nauseous when I smell something strong or am hungry. Usually symptoms hit me like a brick between 5-6 weeks. Maybe they will next week.
No appointments yet. This will be my first time with a doctors office for the whole pregnancy instead of a midwife.
Rants/Raves: I'm happy to be expecting again. Despite the negative symptoms initially and the discomfort in third trimester, I love feeling baby kick and wiggle inside and enjoy trying to guess at baby's personality when in the womb and to play "guess the body part" when baby sticks something out. It's fun!
Questions: none right now @Leni410 I am having my third c-section this time. I had a c-sec with my second, followed by 4 VBACs, and a c-section with my last. This will be the first time I won't have hours of agonizing labor before the c/s. I've had those 20 hour labors and there's nothing like the relief that comes with the spinal/epidural...
to to all the STMs -- 2 under 2 is doable. It is harder at the beginning but as they get older they become friends more and more and loneliness and boredom won't be an issue. My 2 oldest boys love to play together (but they also fight some and have to learn to work it out) my third DS and second DD play for hours together. Now I'll have a playmate for the youngest DD! And my oldest? She loves to be the second mama to the LOs and she and I enjoy doing things together. She and my oldest DS also get along well for the most part and help each other (except for when DD is bossy...;-))
How will we tell the LO's? We are a communicative family. I wrapped up a shirt I painted with the words "big sister" for my little DD's birthday (12/14) and will give it to her to open when my oldest DD and Papa return home this weekend. They all love babies so I know it will be very happy and they will be squealing and jumping around. If we MC for some reason we have faith that we will see the baby again and would let the children talk openly about their feelings about it. We have pictures of when our stillborn son was born and they can ask me questions anytime.
