@Stankonia2014 so sorry to hear stage 4, I had been hoping since you shared how you found out that it would've been local so they could removed any cancerous tissue but at the same time I'm glad to hear you are able to spend some time with him during the holidays!!

Thank you. He has a really good prognosis, so I'm hopeful we'll spend many more holidays together.
We went out to look at lights last night. My nausea is always the worst at night anyway, but also DH spilled a little gas in the car when he got gas for our snow blower and he kept doing quick turns in cul-de-sacs to make our 3-year-old giggle. I ended up throwing up in a gas station garbage can, had to go home early, and having to go right to bed when we got home. I am such a party pooper
@teacher mom you really can't take me anywhere still. We went Christmas shopping yesterday and right after i ate I made a beeline to the food court bathroom to puke. I ended up getting it under control with deep breathing and didn't have to vomit. After shopping we got soft serve ice cream and I puked it on the side of the road.
I think I'm coming down with a cold and it's the worse possible time as my family is coming in today and I am supposed to be baking and cooking Christmas dinner! Off to google pregnancy safe cold medicine!
@Wearmi1 I layer coconut oil and belly balm on mine. It is seriously the worst itch and it is the worst overnight when I'm trying to sleep. Underboob itches as well.
I'm running errands with my son and husband. We went immediately after I worked out to avoid coming home and going back out. I hope the last minute shoppers enjoy my likely offensive scent.
Woke up early for a 730 flight this morning to DD with a crib full of vomit. No time for a bath, all she got was a wipedown. I was able to put her sheets, etc in the wash thank god bc we have a cat sitter coming that can move it to the dryer for me. Fortunately we have two of her sleeping stuffed animal (I wash and switch them out monthly so they'll wear evenly) so the clean one made the trip.
She didn't eat much until dinner yesterday but we assumed she was just distracted by all the Christmas toys we gave her in the morning. Nope. After a nap on me in flight she did willingly eat a ton of dry cheerios and two apple - banana squeezes in the car, and then she got a bath and is napping now. Poor kid. Also poor everyone we see this week...hopefully she just ate some weird daycare food Thursday and it isn't a contagious bug.
Even with all this it was a better travel day than our trip up for christmas last year sadly. The whole morning DH was like "I can't believe we'll have another one of these when we fly up here next year." At least DD will have her own seat on the plane for that trip. Sigh.
Just had to grab my son back out of bed (luckily he wasn't asleep yet) totally forgot to do the cookies for Santa. My daughter was asleep so I feel a little bad she missed it but not bad enough to wake her up.

@FSUNole31 DH almost did the same thing... thought he was helping expedite the bedtime routine only for me to bring them out of bed and back in the kitchen to plate cookies and a carrot!
As soon as my husbands aunt walked in the door, she made a face at me and said "You don't want to be showing already!" Lady, I'm 16 almost 17 weeks and he's been measuring ahead the whole damn time so yeah I'm going to be showing.
Ahhhhhhh!!!!! I'm having a BOY!!! I don't even know how to process it all!! Shocker of the year. We all thought it was a girl. Nice to have both families together (including some from out of the country) to share this moment together.
@Knottie48095479 the only way it could be wrong is if we got tested too early and a y chromosome was not present yet...apparently(sounds kind of funny). If they say boy that is more than likely correct. Everyone at work kept telling me girl. Idk why they thought...maybe wives tale of girls stealing our beauty
Maybe it's because I'm tired but I'm slightly confused. Did I miss the story, @Knottie42089123? Were you previously told it was a girl and then the reveal was a boy? Or did you just think girl and it's a boy?
@Mother0fDragons DH and I and both sides of the family all thought it was a girl. I guess it got to the pt where seeing the blue felt like we were in an alternate galaxy lol
