I've been eating giant bags of nuts and dried fruit. As a rule, I don't really look at nutrition labels. I accidentally glanced at one today and wow! I am taking this "healthy fats" thing more seriously than I realized, haha
Ummm..I just ate a whole jar of kosher snack pickles. Hello, pregnancy sterotype.

@PurplePumpernickel Nah, I tell her how it is. She knows I'm giving it all I've got...I've just got so much less than normal. I've trained with her forever, so she knows that I am not a slacker. I think she's just surprised at how sick I've been.
I've been eating watermelon non-stop, despite it being totally out of season. I found it also helps with my neausea. On the not-so-healthy side, I'm OBESESSED with delicious, warm, and gooey cinnimon rolls. I think I may send DH to the store to go get me one this morning
I forget who posted that baked ziti recipe...I am SO not a cook, but I made it tonight for my family and my brother's family who are visiting...it was a huge hit! I am feeling so proud and adult, lol
Thank you, Internet stranger friend who inspired this little Christmas Eve miracle
I haven't had much of an appetite since I have horrible morning sickness. Today i ate 6 bowls of chili. 6! I haven't had this much of an appetite since I got pregnant! Its exciting and I kept it all down!

chiquita928mj8215 I'm in awe of you two, personal training and spin class! My nausea and fatigue has calmed down but I'm so weak and get out of breath with anything. I've been managing longer walks and a couple of very slow 14 mile bike rides.
Does anyone else get cramping when they exercise? I don't know if it's ligament pain or what but if I push myself at all it hurts.

Yay! Haha, you're welcome, internet stranger, so glad it was a hit!
@Nellin bike rides and walks are awesome you should be very proud!! I have no frame of reference since this is my first pregnancy but it seems like I am one of the lucky ones in terms of nausea... except for a few very bad days, the majority of the time has been quite tolerable and I'm almost 11 weeks... hopefully I won't jinx myself ha. My main barrier to exercise was initially fatigue but this week seems like I've gotten a bit more energetic so I'm trying to take advantage while I can like many others here I worry about my body changing, staying healthy for baby's and my own sake, etc etc. so I definitely will try to keep up a workout routine as long as i feel ok...
@mj8215 Thanks I know it's always a bad idea to compare yourself to others. We are all facing our own challenges. I'd always thought I'd be in peak fitness when I got pregnant but IVF stuffed up those daydreams. The important thing for me is I'm healthy for this growing bean!
As far as what I'm eating I'm actually looking forward to the holidays being over and going home to eat healthily again! I've developed a belly in the last week but it's not baby!
@Nellin I can't even imagine what you must have been through with IVF, all the testing and treatments...you're absolutely right and I sincerely hope we all continue to have healthy pregnancies. As far as having a belly, I'm already in maternity pants, so...
Craving steamed seafood with drawn butter like no ones business. I just want to eat my weight in steamed lobster with drawn butter. Maybe have some broccoli on the side to make it look legit. Why is lobster so expensive?! Second place would be a bucket of old bay steamed shrimp.
I also tell myself the protein is good since I'm still lifting a decent amount. Plus baby so...
Mine keep shifting, I can however with certainty say I hate onions ATM. Nothing can make me like onions it's like I can't stand them, I can't stand them half cooked especially. And chicken. Ew. Also bigger chunks of meat. Ew. I like minced goat though that's been saving my life.
First few few weeks I just wanted everything coconut. Coconut crisps coconut ice cream coconut Thai curry Thai soup you name it.
Then i wanted everything dairy and I don't eat dairy because it makes me breakout and I made the mistake of one whole week of dairy now I have a massive break out on my otherwise flawless skin. No desire for desserts though, even though I usually love desserts. Right now I want coconut icecream and fruit though
