  How far along are you? 23 weeks

  
  

  How big is baby? Size of a large mango

  
  

  Appointments this week? Had my check up on Monday.  My midwife told me to lay off the cookies.  

  
  

  Symptoms? Fatigue, reflux, and I often feel swollen in my girly bits.  My midwife is concerned it may be varicose veins.

  Rant/Rave/Questions? I gained 9 lbs this month.  

  
  

  GTKY: Do you have any plans or traditions for New Year's Eve? Our daughter's birthday is New Year's Day so we usually don't do much on NYE.  I may go to a friend's house for awhile, but I'm sure I'll be home and asleep by 10.

  How big is baby? Cauliflower and something else that's unhealthy and no more accurate.

  
  

  Appointments this week? Not till 1/16 and it'll be my glucose test. I hope I can eat everything on my prescribed menu.

  
  

  Symptoms? Little bit of heartburn, a touch of round ligament pain, but mostly just feeling good and growing bigger.

  
  

  Rant/Rave/Questions? None of my maternity pants are comfortable. I likely need the next size up but I'm too cheap to buy pants I'll wear for 3-4 more months. Also my pre pregnancy fat layer is annoyingly obvious when squished by a waistband.

  
  

  GTKY: Do you have any plans or traditions for New Year's Eve? We'll watch a movie or play games till close to midnight, then pop open sparkling cider and say happy new year. That's about the extent of our celebration...kids or no kids.
