    Olives now taste like cough syrup. I almost vomited at dinner last night...in front of my coworkers who don't know.

  • I was soooo good last pregnancy. Veggies and fruits and lean meats... today I have had chips ahoy chocolate chip cookies, twizzlers bites, kitkat, and blueberry bread (cake). I ordered a veggie pizza and threw that up and now wont touch it... At this point, I am just trying to keep things down.
  • I'm starving but nauseous, which is annoying! I can pretty much only manage toast and bananas right now, but I'd kill for a cheeseburger. 
  • Pre pregnancy I'd describe myself as a cheese snob (which I like to think is my right, being European, and generally would "look down" on American cheese especially cheddar...for the last few weeks, I've had the craziest craving for cheddar cheese! Any time of day, it's all I want :) this is clearly a very American baby in there LOL
  • The amount of bagels with cream cheese I've eaten lately is embarrassing. Watch me cry over the inevitable weight gain....
    I've eaten probably 3-4 bagels a day for the last 2 or 3 weeks, and gained one pound!

  • UberEats is the best/worst thing to happen to this pregnancy. I've developed a major sweet tooth and just had almond brittle peanut butter stuffed donuts delivered to my door. Pure heaven. 
  • That sounds dangerous ^^^^ totally looking it up though! 

    Taco dip!! Thanks to that holiday potluck thread! I couldn't stop thinking about it and went to the store and made it! 


  • I could finally stomach a smoothie this morning. It was incredible!!

    I've eaten probably 3-4 bagels a day for the last 2 or 3 weeks, and gained one pound! 
    I've been having a bagel with cream cheese as my second breakfast every day. First breakfast is cereal with milk, as soon as I get up, before I take the dog out.
  • Dinner tonight....pickled onions, a leftover chicken nugget from my kids' dinner, plain pasta, red vines, and broccoli.  

    Earlier today...toast with cookiebutter and sliced banana.  Fresh mango.

    It's 1am (we're visiting fam so I'm wide awake) and I think I need Mac and cheese now.

  • @lfk2013 Me too. I still get nauseous on occasion, but it's mostly because I've waited to long to eat.

  • I was soooo craving an egg burrito this morning, and made it just the way I like it with cheese and salsa...but when it came time eat it, the egg smelled so bad, I only took one bite before I started gagging. Ugh. My MIND wanted to eat it, but my body said heck no...

    and just writing egg burito is making me feel all kinds of gag-y....
  • I just went to Dunkin Donuts because I could not stop thinking about an everything bagel with cream cheese. It is everything I dreamed it would be.

  • @lfk2013 mashes potatoes with Franks Red Hot is my JAM. All I want is carbs and starchy foods. I gave into a craving for a cheeseburger last night but now today I want pasta. Trying to convince myself to have a salad for lunch but it's not working....

  • @lfk2013 I so badly want these bagels that my grocery store makes, but I'm vegan and can't figure out if they are dairy free or not. The lady in the store said the ingredients are online, but they aren't anywhere I can find them, so I'm sitting here dreaming of bagels.

    @GlitterFish This is not humanly possible!

    I'm having udon noodle soup - yum!  It's cold as heck over here!  I do plan to have a second lunch when I get home :)

  • Salt and vinegar Pringles. And I have an intense craving for good chocolate covered sea salt caramels - preferably the ones with the grains of salt still in the caramel so you can crunch them between your teeth.

    All I want is crap food. Not sweets, but salt and carbs. Anything else makes me want to vomit. I've already gained 6lbs bc of crap food and not feeling like working out. I'm usually a fairly healthy person - lots of veggies and running and other excercise 5-6 days/week. I feel disgusting but I don't even care right now. I keep telling myself I'll feel like exercising in a few weeks... we'll see about that!
  • Well, I ate over 1/2 a box of pasta today, and my craving for Lays Simply Potato Chips came back.... I think it's the salt. I don't really cook with salt, and I think my body needs more.

  • I made instant mashed potatoes with sour cream and cheese for dinner. And steak but DD ate over a half of mine because she's a greedy meat miser.

  • This Indian restaurant near me makes cashew and cherry stuffed naan. It is literally all I can think about. 
  • The holidays and my mom's BBQ sandwiches are making my blump so bad right now.  Also, I need to stop reading this thread late at night.  Now I need a warm Auntie Anne's pretzel.

    Lady, I am right there with you. I love exercise and was one of the most common people at my little gym. I haven't set foot there in five weeks. I've eaten nothing but carb-based food. We WILL exercise in a few weeks, just need to get through this :)
  • @ginger1228 and @PurplePumpernickel I am in the same boat. Right before I got my BFP, I was working out with a trainer and finally feeling like I was back in the groove of regular exercise after a little hiatus brought on by an insane spring/early summer at work. Exhaustion is seriously killing me, and other than taking a brisk walk with DH and my dogs every night, I haven't done anything in the way of exercise. Between this and my carb/sweet tooth I feel like a big fat blob. Hopefully my energy levels go up in the next few weeks so I can get back on the running bandwagon.

    @PurplePumpernickel @oheliza44 I've managed to see the trainer for the past three weeks (luckily she was on vacation for the week prior when morning sickness was the worst), and she's practically giving me the side eye because I've been so terrible. I told her about the bfp right away bc she had me on a really calorie restricted diet that I wasn't sure was healthy for pregnancy, so at least she knows why I'm so awful, but it's seriously so bad. I barely used to modify any exercises. Now I practically collapse if I don't. I've almost puked and cried multiple times. Exercise in the first trimester is so hard.
  • Sour fruits sprinkled with salt. Favorite so far -- green mangoes.

    I have no energy (hence the sode eye from the trainer lol), and the only motivation is that I'd be out $300 if I didn't go.  I just keep reminding myself that I worked out throughout the last pregnancy and it paid off.
