Re: FFFC

  • We've ate out so much this week because I have no desire to cook and the thought of cooking makes me more nauseous.

  • I have literally had no focus and gotten like nothing done all week lol
  • My confession is I absolutely do not like being a sahm. I know financially, it's the best thing for us and I love the time with DD but I love working and I miss it so much.

  • @TheNewMrsLee I am totally with you on that!  I have really done nothing this whole week.  I also plan on not doing anything on Monday too!  Monday is my last day of work before vacation, and I have my US at 1pm that day as well.  I will be present in the meeting I have, but after that, nada!

  • @Nxy SAHM definitely isn't for everyone. I personally enjoy it but do miss a lot of things about working too. Luckily for us, our decision wasn't financially based (we actually cut our income totally in half). Ours was based on how we wanted our family time to be. Hugs to you though and hang in there!

  • @Nxy I felt the same way.  I was miserable for a lot of first year of my daughter's life because I wasn't working.  Are you in a MOMs Club?  MOPs?  Playdate group?

  • I'm going to pitch a fit with my husband tonight so we can eat out at chic fil a tonight muahahahha
  • Girls are at their grandparents' house tonight!
Normally that would mean date night, but today it means pizza and video game night.

  • I'm either nauseous or ravenous and have no desire to cook anything,
so I've been picking up food for lunch out of the house way too much...and probably won't stop anytime soon.
  • @PeachyTeachy we do mops and we volunteer pretty much anywhere that'll let me bring DD. It's just the worst when DH is gone and I go days at a time with the only person I speak to being a sassy pants toddler.
I'd get a part time job and just get childcare for her a few days a week but every position I've found I'm paying as much as I'd be making and that's not worth the time I'm losing with DD. I know one day I'll kick myself becuase they grow so fast and I'm lucky enough to be able to stay home but it's so draining to me. Which sounds silly because before DD I was working 12-13 hour days 6 days a week..

  • I went to bed right after I got home yesterday at 6:30. #sorrynotsorry

It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
