So whatever is sticking out is not your uterus. Your uterus is still under the pubic bone (unless you have twins you know I'm not talking to you). The blump is unreal the second time around but it is not my cherry sized baby.

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
If I could eat 2lbs of chipotle without looking pregnant before I was KTFU, I am pretty sure something the size of a raspberry isn't giving you a bump.
@ashaw512 next you're gonna tell me that these kicks I'm feeling are just gas but I swear I just know it's my baby
This literally made me LOL

My blump is out of control. STM and these hormones must have some muscle memory in them. I've lost 5lbs in the last month (hopefully off my ass) and I look like a prego. I am well aware it's not a baby bump but the bloat is real and it's hard to hide!

I started showing at 7 weeks with a little bump and a lot of bloat. At 11+ weeks now as a STM yeah I'm showing quite obviously. I wake up with the bump and it is hard not all bloat and bloat on top of it means I feel gross. ive already had everyone who sees me tell me I look really pregnant now with an obvious bump from the front and side. I was not expecting this at all but my midwife says yep some STM pop even earlier than others and of course the unreal bloat doesnt help on top of it and I look like I'm 20w instead of 11+. I keep thinking they missed a baby in there it's so big considering. I also have bad m/s and have actually not been indulging in much of anything so it's just a little mentally tough to deal with. ETA: my uterus is also above my pubic bone already when I saw my midwife yesterday
@dancegurl1118, ha, the twins are no joke - definitely measuring 16 weeks instead of 10 at the moment, per the doctor on Monday. But even I'm not showing and can't feel my uterus yet unless I assault my abdomen.

Thank you @Cait32. That was indeed why it was in quotations. Last time didn't get bumpy until around 24 weeks. This time, definately a bit... plumper in the front. The snark women, lmao.
It may not be the actual baby yet- but the uterus is growing and pushing everything up... I'm a 3rd time mom (4th pregnancy) and showing - and I can feel my uterus above my pubic bone already. I also have terrible stomach separation

@ladipale I had a 3+ finger separation after my last. Between that and bloat I am very obviously pregnant even at 7 weeks. Even though I can feel my uterus hasn't risen above the pubic bone yet.
I'm 10 weeks, although FTM, but I'm also super tiny, and while the majority of the top of my stomach is bloat, my pelvic region is thickening and that never changes. It may not be the uterus yet, but it definitely looks like I'm pregnant.

I definitely think height and body type play into it. I'm 5'9 and broad shouldered with wide hips and a reasonably long torso. There's a LOT of room for baby to hide in there. I genuinely didn't "pop" last time until close to six months. BUT, I just looked through a couple pictures on my computer last night and the first morning that I woke up with an obvious bump (could feel my son, weird lump on the right side of my belly, under my belly button near right hip) was right around 13/14 weeks. I took progress shot every week and around 4 and a half to 5 months is when it didn't disappear when I stood up anymore.

I got some serious bloat from week 5-6 and it looked like a bump though obviously it's not. My bloat has gone down significantly and now my stomach looks like it's normal self even though I'm farther along. But man, it was hard to hide that bloat during week 5-6. It's like egg met sperm and my stomach just went "F it!" and expanded at ridiculous speed. lol But now I'm back to normal and of course instead of being happy about it, I'm worried it means something is wrong, because pregnancy really accentuates the logical side of my brain
@ashaw512 you obviously know why the quotations are there, so why so serious? Even though it is bloating, still look pregnant, and it is hard to hide this fact, stms also "show" sooner So this is me, side eying you Sept 2015 board didn't have nearly as many snarky women
Yes ik what you mean. Laying down or sucking it in doesn't get rid of it anymore. Also laying on my stomach it's like something is in my way. Dh keeps pointing it out and touching it.
I'm all for snark when snark is due, but not when OP clearly knows she isn't actually showing. Pretty sure she was just trying to commiserate with her fellow "blumpers."
I feel like my body definitely has a memory for pregnancy shape, and with each one it goes back earlier and earlier. The blimp is real, but it seems to fall into pregnant-shape faster and faster.
When I was 9 weeks pregnant with #3, a waitress told me I looked like I was ready to pop "any day now" and must be "very far along."
@ladipale and @hqinmd I just made the mistake of googling stomach separation. Dear lord.
@kerils I'm in the same boat. I'm petite and can tell my uterus/pelvic area is getting bigger. It was always flat before and now it has a hard curve to it. I don't look pregnant and I am still comfortably in my regular clothes but I know my body and this is definitely a change.

Hate to break it to you but Sept 14 did. My quotations should be obvious that I'm not serious? So why WK? I'm a TTM I started showing at 13 weeks with my second I know what showing looks like.
Did you even read the OP, that was serious. And also the first comment. Furthermore, if you can't handle snark go to babycenter.
The first comment where she said "But I'm thinking it's just the lovely first trimester bloating!"? I'm all for snark when it's due but i don't think anyone actually thought they were showing anything but bloat.

Yes she also said "I didn't start showing until after 20 weeks with my son and I'm 8 weeks and 2 days!" And yes I completely got that, that's why I put quotation marks. Why ya'll so serious?
Yeah, the snark on this board is so minimal to what I have seen on this site in the past @carrell1990. If you make a post you can't control how people respond or interpret it, that's not how the internet works.
My stomach has been out for a couple weeks now. It's very tender and I can't have anything pushing against it or it makes me sick so I'm letting it all hang out. I'm pregnant and my stomach is sticking out. I know my baby is only the size of a Lego man but after one pregnancy the uterus never shrinks back to it's original size meaning we will show earlier.
@oheliza44 I'm glad I'm not the only one I kind of feel like when I do actually bump out with my uterus, there's always going to be bloat on it, and I'm just going to look lumpy and ginormous, even though I had a relatively flat stomach before this

Ladies, it's okay, I get snarky too. Especially when I am feeling as shitty as I am. But, unless it is absolutely called for, I usually don't flame.
I finally got to buy new jeans in my goal size: size 0 a couple months ago. I didnt plan this pregnancy, and I am now devastated that this early I am either sporting my totally comfy maternity jeans or my favorite jeansunbottoned with a long top. So I am here looking to commiserate about the blumpiness
Pregnancy seems like our one pass to just let our pooches hang out and not have to suck it in. I'm still sucking mine in but am excited for 2nd tri when I can blame it on this little dude. I had to stop using the Glow nurture app because the community forums were all "look at my gigantic belly I'm 6 weeks and showing" - nah lady that's fat, gas, and bowel contents.
@Chamomile the gas and the slow gastric process are culprit's for sure! And of course, I was craving beans a few days ago, and what did I do? Ate 3/4 of the can... it didn't help. I still make an effort to "suck it in" even at full term, it seems to keep abdominal muscles in better shape and helps posture too.
I was pretty much in hiding a few weeks ago because I looked like I was about 6 months pregnant with bloat! All day sickness and puking and now I don't look pregnant at all...it was laughable at how much bloating I had!
