WTF to Aflac Short Term Disability!! My policy was supposed to start October 1. I was denied due to a herniated disc and reapplied with a special rider at a lower rate and payout. Noticed Oct. 1 and 15 payroll went through without a deduction. Contacted them and they said it was their fault. They never submitted it because they thought it was for the denied policy. Finally got the back deduction taken out and then I got a letter and check yesterday stating the premium wasn't paid within the grace period and my policy was cancelled. I called and was told I could reapply. However, the pregnancy exclusion clause says you can't be pregnant 30 days from the start of the policy. I wasn't, but starting a new application would mean I couldn't collect!!! He said he would fix it, but I don't know... Got another paycheck today and the deduction was there again?!?
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Gas leak in my house! I'm sitting in my vehicle with my kids. I'm soooo hungry!!!! We have to wait for the power company or they will just shut our gas off.
