@rainbowturtles aw, I'm so glad it was just a misunderstanding, that DH is sorry, and that you guys are all good. I would've been just as needy if I'd been in a similar situation!
@rainbowturtles Any time my friend. When you're both emotionally ready, it may be worth bringing up to him how much those words can sting and "fighting fair" so to speak.
Also if you learn to be less needy, do share some tips with your friend adirat!
@rainbowturtles I second all of the other ladies, we are here for you any time. We all have periods of time where we are more needy than others. I'm glad you guys were able to talk.

@crazypuglady haha I am still trying to decide what to do tonight about HIO. I had more EWCM today but still a negative OPK. We've HIO the last two nights so I think may we'll take tonight off and try for tomorrow. Decisions, decisions...
@rainbowturtles I think we would all rather that you vent on us than any other alternative....besides that's what we're here for. You all have allowed me to lean on you multiple times and I really appreciate it more than words can say

Oh goshhhhh, seriously, you ladies are just the best!!! And I actually accidentally said that out loud just now and then was like oh shit did H hear me? He'd be like "who are you talking to?" ....And of course I'd say "the dogs!"
Definitely not a scientific/research based article. So not sure on how valid or accurate it is. But an interesting read. Obviously it is partly a pitch to buy their product, but I am curious if there is truth to their claims about BBT.
@DharmaMama I mobile bump, and it's haaaard. The only way I can kind of keep up is to try to write stuff in a note as I read down the line so I don't have to scroll up and down over and over.
@jmn1985 is right. Not seeing signatures sucks butt too. Sorry for CD 1
@rainbowturtles I hate that you are dealing with this. Men are so bad about not resolving things, in my experience. They think things are over, and we're over here still stewing about stuff. The baby talk sucks, but it's a relief when things get resolved.
I say "thaw" or "thaw out"
I THINK my OPK is getting darker. I don't want to get my hopes up. I'm probably just imagining things.

Hi all, I've been trying to clear my head a bit and not stress about TTC, but I've missed you guys and I have been lurking every now and then. I took a mini bump-break. I'm going to see how I do mentally coming back!
Month/Cycle: 2/2

WAYDTGKU: Temping, PNVs, CP, CM, OPKs
R/R: Almost done with Christmas gifts. Job interview today.
CS/Q: Has anyone noticed more fluctuating temps pre-O after an Ovulatory cycle than coming of an-O? My overall temps in the first half of my cycle are higher than they were last month, but that was after an-O so I am wondering if the progesterone from O just makes the initial first half higher? I used to sit low 97.0-97.02 now I am 97.3-97.5. Wondering if prior O is why?
GTKY: are you a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast, or do you switch it up daily? What do you usually end up having?
I usually have the same thing for a few days then switch it up for a few more. Kind of a rotating creature of habit. I like yogurt/cereal, PB Toast or Eggs and Veggies
Good luck on the job!

Nope, not at all valid. It's not even a study, just a person saying some opinions. I can get into the reasons there's neither internal validity or generalizability in more depth if it's useful, but the short version is that there are too many variables affecting temp that studies can't or don't control for -- temperature of room where people sleep, whether people sleep alone, what thermometer you use, etc. This link you provided doesn't even specify oral vs. vaginal temps. I would completely disregard this.
@hartmich and @Pinky917 Back in June I got freaked out when I read in TCOYF that temps under 97.0 indicate a problem, often a thyroid problem. My follicular temps always are and my coverline is always 97.0 or 97.1. I asked the endocrinologist I see for my thyroid problem and she said this is not correct. Unless you're seeing temps in the 94s there's no reason to be concerned. Bodies have a huge amount of variability and some people will run warmer or colder than others. She said it's more important to see a spike and a difference between follicular and luteal than the absolute value of where the temps are.
By the way, I have seen PG charts online that had a slow rise and hovered around coverline for a few temps before becoming triphasic so anything can happen.
Thank you @adirat for reading that. I saw that and promptly tried to forget it before I totally freaked out. It's nice to have confirmation that it's bogus.

Thank you for weighing in @adirat! I also saw that, and asked my naturopath about it because my pre-O temps were always below 97. She said pretty much the same thing as your endocrinologist.
Oddly enough, my overall temps seem to have been gradually getting higher. I did switch to vaginal temping last cycle which I know can read higher, but even still, it's been a general trend for a few months now. Nothing worrying, but it was interesting.
