R/R: The choir concert went well last night. Its supposed to be -17 here tomorrow night without the windchill. I have so much work to do but I just want to bump
CS/Q: morning 2 of a nearly positive OPK, I spent a good 3 minutes staring at it before finally deciding it was negative... last night was definitely negative. come on body, O early, you can do it!
GTKY: Since it's the morning and I woke up hungry..are you a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast, or do you switch it up daily? What do you usually end up having? I am a creature of habit. I usually have cereal during the week (though TBH I could have cereal for just about any meal, a point in which DH and I differ) On the weekends we usually do pancakes/waffles on saturday and omelets on sunday
@lulu1180 I hope the RE can give you some answers. I would think that a cyst could be messing with your cycles. STEP AWAY FROM GOOGLE!

Hey fam, after a brief break I'm back. Missed you guys!
Month/Cycle: 9
CD: 22
WAYDTGKU: Literally nothing. I big ol' effed up this cycle.
R/R: I really fell off the turnip truck on this one. I didn't temp all month, I forgot to use my OPKs. I'll pick back up next cycle which is (according to FF) due on Christmas. This will be me:
CS/Q:
GTKY: Since it's the morning and I woke up hungry..are you a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast, or do you switch it up daily? What do you usually end up having? I usually don't eat breakfast, but if I do it's a piece of fruit or something.
@adirat Thank you! I just went and took a look at the previous month, and I agree with you. It's definitely still a little nerve wracking, but it's good to have someone talk me down, too.
WAYDTGKU: PNV, red raspberry tea before O, HIO a few times during FW (relaxed cycle post CP)
R/R:
Rave: My temps are so steady this month so far! The flucuations are minimal compared to the start of last cycle, so I am hoping that bodes well. I am also sleeping better thanks to some advice from @flinstone and it's helping a lot.
Rant: Nothing really today....other than I have grad school class tonight, so a long day. But it's the last class of the semester!
CS/Q: I was reading an article on Conceivable (mind you it's an app/trying to sell you crazy expensive service) that said that temps below 97.5 are more promising for healthy follicular phase of egg development and that temps above 98.2 are more promising for a healthy conception phase. It also said that if temps go below 98.2 (regardless of cover line, their is a 48% higher rate of MCs). I just found it interesting because last cycle (keep in mind it was my first temping), my temps fluctuated a lot before O and were above/below 97.5, and during the my luteal phase, they also fluctuated a lot and it resulted in a CP. Of course, there are exceptions because everyone is different. But I was just curious if anyone has ever read anything like this before.
GTKY: Since it's the morning and I woke up hungry..are you a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast, or do you switch it up daily? What do you usually end up having?
Total creature of habit, but it happens in phases. I will go about two weeks eating pancakes, boiled egg, piece of fruit and sausage. Then, switch to breakfast burritos with fruit for two weeks. Last cycled breakfast is the lazy one: oatmeal. I usually do meal prep for the week on Sundays for breakfast.
@Pinky917 I covet! I bought this for DH but he said he won't put it in his office. What a jerk. (Sorry if huge- mobile bumping) I guess it's going in my office white elephant gift!
@dragonfly87 If that's true, it would be interesting. If I get a chance later I can search for any scientific proof to back it up unless someone else is able to find it before I do

WAYDTGKU: all the stuff but no meds or treatment this cycle.
R/R: We had a couch delivered today and I wasn't certain what time it would be delivered so I am 'working' from home. The couch was delivered at 9 am so I totally could have gone in to the office but... nah.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Since it's the morning and I woke up hungry..are you a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast, or do you switch it up daily? What do you usually end up having? My favorite breakfast is oatmeal but I'll pretty much eat anything available if I'm hungry in the morning.

@dragonfly87 That's interesting... but I have to question, wouldn't the time people temp have a huge impact? I know if I temp later, my temps are much higher across the board. So I wonder how a study would be able to make a claim like that without removing that factor.
@dragonfly87 I've never read anything like that before but it is interesting. I wonder if the lower temps would be more indicative of a problem rather than the cause of it? Like that a MC or CP is already happening and that the body is reacting to it.
@hartmich: Yes, good point. When I temp around 8am...it is higher. So not sure about that.
lulu1180 : I am curious if there is scientific evidence to back it up. I was bummed the article did not list any references...which makes it more suspect.
CD: 9 - damn, I hope @adirat is right and we're syncing up so that I can get a longer LP too!
WAYDTGKU: the usual but might skip OPKs this cycle. Prob gonna start HIO soon. Still feeling "meh" about it, but my sex drive is returning.
R/R:
RANT: DH went for his SA yesterday. He calls me saying that they don't have an appointment for him, and asks where he should be. I tell him that he has to go to the actual lab for the appointment. He's clearly talking to someone while on the phone with me, and says "nevermind I'll get it figured out." Ok, so I assume he got things cleared up. Turns out they were asking which doctor ordered the test - which I could've easily told him. Either way, they must've figured it out because they let him submit his sample. I called this morning to make sure that his test info would go to the correct doctor, and they had figured it out. But I was panicking for a bit, worried that he'd driven 75 miles and molested himself in a lab only for the sample and test to get lost without a doctor to return the results to. Of course when we talked about it later he got annoyed saying that when he called me he asked who ordered the test...... no, no you definitely didn't ask me that. And, we haven't gotten the results back yet. (*sorry that was really long*)
RAVE: somehow my "I want to kill you for smoking" cloud has lifted a bit, and I feel back in sync with DH. Perhaps it's because I'll likely O in the next 4-5 days and biology is making sure that I like him enough to HIO Or maybe it's because he jerked off in a doctor's office without complaining ... LOL
CS/Q:
GTKY: Since it's the morning and I woke up hungry..are you a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast, or do you switch it up daily? What do you usually end up having?
Creature of habit. During the week I almost always have a smoothie with spinach or kale, banana, pineapple, matcha green tea, collagen powder, and organic vanilla whey concentrate. It's the one healthy habit that I've been able to keep for over a year. On the weekends I'll mix it up a bit.

@flinstone welcome back from your break! GL with your interview!
@jess0211 sorry this week has been crappy for you!
@adirat FX you get your MRI results soon! Waiting for results is hell. And, effing man-cold ... we all know how much effort thawing chicken is *eyeroll*
@lulu1180 ugh, how anticlimactic. I'm glad you got information from the ultrasound, but it's frustrating to still not have answers yet. FX for your RE appt.
@dharmamama I'm lucky that I'm able to bump at work on a desktop computer. It's SO much easier than mobile bumping.
@jmn1985 ugh, sorry for CD1 after getting your hopes up. PJs and eating your feelings is perfectly reasonable response!
@rainbowturtles sorry you still on unsteady ground with DH, I hate that. Hopefully you can both have a productive talk after cooling off for a few days. I always get nervous when having to bring up "heavy" things up with DH.
@coloradohiker I'm glad the gym and wine helped last night!
@laurenEG14 omg the spider story... I would burn the house down!
@dilynne Hi! Glad to have you back! And, you never know, sometimes doing "nothing" can good for TTC
@wabash15 I feel ya on the cold temps. I hasn't gotten above 0 here for a couple weeks. I think the high on Saturday is supposed to be -15.
@swimsister sorry your DH is being pissy. I hate it when they could easily do things to help themselves (not drink caffeine before bed, etc.), but insist on just complaining instead.
LOL
@LuND Hahaha - that's amazing... regardless of why, I'm glad you are feeling a bit better!
@dragonfly17 That's really intriguing... and good point, @hartmich. I'm so curious about that now - and waiting anxiously for our science ladies to do some research and weigh in (although I love you all for more than just your knowledge! )
PS: I'm going to be sad when you all O before me and I'm left behind. I have no idea what to expect in terms of O. Please check on me still!
WAYDTGKU: All the stuff!
R/R: Rant: When people won't send you their addresses, so you can't mail them a Christmas card
Rave: One day closer to finishing the semester. So much grading, but then I get a three week break!
CS/Q: It's boring as can be, but temps are trending down, so that's good. Had a solid 97.00 this morning.
GTKY: Since it's the morning and I woke up hungry..are you a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast, or do you switch it up daily? What do you usually end up having?
I switch it up daily. Cottage cheese with fruit (grapefruit or pineapple or cantaloupe or strawberries depending on the season) is a favorite. I also like granola with milk, egg sandwiches I make at home (egg and cheese on an English muffin), peanut butter cinnamon toast, and smoothies. I breakfast. Of course, if it's the weekend, and I have time, I like pancakes or waffles with eggs.

Man! Had a crazy busy week last week. Didn't have time to post.. though I did lurk here and there.

WAYDTGKU: BBT/CM/CP/saliva fern test/PNV
R/R: Rave-My Christmas shopping is 99% done and about 85% wrapped. Just waiting on some shipments to come in and I'm set. Rant- I've been so busy on the weekends I've had little time to relax. I haven't touched my cross-stitch in weeks and probably won't until we get to DH's family's house next week for Christmas vacation. Tis the season.
CS/Q: Last cycle I missed O, so this month I'm super vigilent. I think I've had some watery CM yesterday/today, but NONE of my other signs sync up. I've got low CP, very faint/barely there lines for OPK, and zero ferning on the saliva test. I'm inclined to think I'm not in FW yet, but then again, last cycle I only had 3 days of watery CM way earlier than I expected in my cycle, and I ended up O-ing. (I also noted my CP was high, but I had just started to check and didn't know what low/med/high felt like.)
Anyone O based on CM alone w/ no other signs syncing up? We did BD last night, but I didn't tell DH I thought I might be approaching FW and I don't want to commit to EOD way before we need to.
GTKY:
Since it's the morning and I woke up hungry..are you a creature of
habit when it comes to breakfast, or do you switch it up daily? What do
you usually end up having?
I do NOT understand how ppl don't eat breakfast... I'm always ravenous in the morning. I usually go through spurts- right now I've been eating oatmeal with pumpkin puree and almond milk. I also love eggs w/ spinach and toast... and my fav- poached egg on toast with guacamole. Mmmmm.
@Flinstone -Good luck at your interview! @jess0211 -Sorry you are having a bad week. I'm in the same boat w/ you- to HIO or not to HIO. lol @aidirat -Taco meat in eggs sounds AMAZING. @lulu1180 -glad you got some answers from your u/s, though your cyst sounds all kinds of sucky. Hope you have a quick and easy resolution! @kiki75 & @jmn1985 -Sorry for CD1 @rainbowturtles -I lurked yesterday's WTO and I'm sorry you had a bad fight w/ your H. Men just don't get it sometimes. My DH once said to me after a bad fight "and you want me to have a kid with you... no way!" It was super hurtful at the time (we had JUST started talking about the possibility of TTC). He was worked up/ not as on-board with the topic as I was, and had that ammunition to throw at me- but it still was hard to shake for a long while. Give it some time.. it will all work out like it's supposed to. @ColoradoHiker -I had the weird spike thing too! I was marveling at how nice and even my pre-O temps had been then all of a sudden they went nuts! Since I missed O last time, I was super nervous I did it again! But I talked myself down knowing I only had creamy CM, very faint OPK and no ferning. Sure enough, it came down yesterday. Whew! Hang in there! Good luck @RedBreast35! @Pinky917 -That gift is epic. @wabash15- Rooting for your early O!
WAYDTGKU: preseed pnv opk (positive today I believe)
R/R: I have to go get my cavities filled today so I'm kind of panicing because it's probably my least favorite thing in the world to do. Then I get to follow it up with a close second of going to the grocery.

@mrsegan13 No cycle buddies left behind Of course we'll check on you! @LuND I definitely feel you on the biology kicking in...part of me is hurt and wants to be stubborn and find somewhere else to stay for a week so he starts thinking about how lucky he is lol The other part of me is very much going to put this *fight* on hold because I feel like it's going to work out and is mostly due to H's poor communication skills. He always apologizes, which is great (and he already has), but he's never been very good at saying the romantic and loving things that I need to hear to make up for the shitty things he's said
Edited: because I'm feeling like that was an overshare
@crazypuglady Thank you! Your chart does indeed look very similar to mine, and I appreciate the reassurance that it's a pretty normal event. I've never had an O at CD10 when I've tracked previously, but you never know, either! @Breath_Easy92 I hate cavities, and I got them a lot when I was younger. My DH, on the other hand, proudly announces how he's never had a cavity every time he comes back from the dentist. I want to smack him.
Thank you all. Interview went well. FX it works out. I think I mentioned before about returning to school, turns out the school I was looking at (a tech school) does not want to take many of my higher institution courses from my Bachelor's because they want you to take them locally.. aka pay more to their school. That was discouraging. Here I thought I would get a huge head start on things and skip pre-reqs. So, I started applying elsewhere and maybe it will work out and I can save more money for school.
@wabash15 I could eat cereal all damn day long no matter what. Anytime it's on sale I get a new box regardless of I need it. HA! @dragonfly87 that article is VERY interesting. I wonder though how accurate it can be since we all use different thermometers and have different environments (too many variables). I like it though! @mrsvp614 how do you think the mucinex works for CM? I just started this cycle because I want to control everything! haha
@BertieMeetsGertie your so sweet thank you I'm getting 4 out of 6 done today. I have really bad anxiety so I avoided going for 4 years. It helps that I have a very attractive dentist though lol
@mrsegan13 no one gets left behind! @crazypuglady I think some ladies can reliably tell their O by CM alone (after having tracked all the other signs for a while) I am not one of them. If your seeing watery CM then I'd keep HIO with DH. hopefully you dont miss O this cycle

@crazypuglady You may just get a lot of fertile cm or it can vary by cycle. Mine does -- last cycle I had 8 days of either watery or ewcm. I suggest HIO EOD when you start seeing it. That's what I do just in case O comes early for whatever reason.
@Flinstone It really depends on the school you're looking at. Specifically, is it a for profit school? You may have better luck at a community or technical college, especially a college that does Credit for Prior Learning. I do a lot of work with two year colleges and nontraditionally aged student populations so I can actually tell you a LOT more about this if it's useful.
@lulu1180 I'm glad you got your results back, waiting stinks! I'm sorry to hear it's a cyst but hopefully this will open the door for a straightforward plan to help move things along. @kiki75 Sorry for CD1 @Breath_Easy92 Glad you made it through ok!

WAYDTGKU: Temping, OPKs, pre-O herbs, progesterone after O
R/R: Holy crap you guys...my OPK was nearly positive today! I have never ever gotten a nearly positive OPK this early in my cycle. I'm trying not to get too excited until it's actually positive and I see a temp rise. Last month I O'd on CD19 and that was the earliest I've O'd ever since starting to chart in 2013. Could it actually be possible that my body is FINALLY getting itself back to 'normal' after being pregnant, nursing, weaning, etc? I seriously wouldn't even know what to do with myself if I O'd this early. I'm really looking forward to actually having a plan this month and trying something new. My insurance doesn't cover the Endometrin/progesterone my RE prescribed, so they're looking into off-brand options since it's $700 OOP costs...Luckily the RE gave me enough samples to last 15 days so I should have enough for this cycle at least.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Since it's the morning and I woke up hungry..are you a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast, or do you switch it up daily? What do you usually end up having?
Habit definitely, oatmeal with almond milk and flax seed, with raisins. Occasionally I'll have cereal.
@BertieMeetsGertie I think the pharmacy where the script was originally sent just charges astronomical prices! I called a few local to me and got quotes in the $200-$300 range. Still ridiculous but not as ridiculous. I'm hoping my RE has an alternative option!
Quick update, I'll be back later...but ya apparently that wasn't what he meant at all and he's sorry and I guess we're good. but like @crazypuglady said, those words tend to linger Thank you everyone, don't know what I'd do without you I'll try to be less needy ...

Month/Cycle: 5/6

@dilynne Hi! Glad to have you back! And, you never know, sometimes doing "nothing" can good for TTC
@wabash15 I feel ya on the cold temps. I hasn't gotten above 0 here for a couple weeks. I think the high on Saturday is supposed to be -15.
@pinky917 OMG I want that mouse pad!
@swimsister sorry your DH is being pissy. I hate it when they could easily do things to help themselves (not drink caffeine before bed, etc.), but insist on just complaining instead.

GTKY: Since it's the morning and I woke up hungry..are you a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast, or do you switch it up daily? What do you usually end up having?

@aidirat -Taco meat in eggs sounds AMAZING.
@lulu1180 -glad you got some answers from your u/s, though your cyst sounds all kinds of sucky. Hope you have a quick and easy resolution!
@kiki75 & @jmn1985 -Sorry for CD1
@rainbowturtles -I lurked yesterday's WTO and I'm sorry you had a bad fight w/ your H.
@Pinky917 -That gift is epic.
@wabash15- Rooting for your early O!

He always apologizes, which is great (and he already has), but he's never been very good at saying the romantic and loving things that I need to hear to make up for the shitty things he's said
@Breath_Easy92 I hate cavities, and I got them a lot when I was younger. My DH, on the other hand, proudly announces how he's never had a cavity every time he comes back from the dentist. I want to smack him.

@dragonfly87 that article is VERY interesting. I wonder though how accurate it can be since we all use different thermometers and have different environments (too many variables). I like it though!
