I'm slowly getting into the Christmas spirit! We aren't huge decorators, but I love seeing what everyone does this time of year! What are the rest of you doing? Any beautiful menorahs? trees? Spectacular light displays? I'd love to see!!
I do a new theme every year and this year is "Scandinavian" with the goal being lots of cozy whites and greys with bits of red fair isle and green. I don't feel I've quite achieved it, but I'm too lazy to put more effort in haha.
The tree: The entry table (need to get new red ribbons for it and I hate the exposed cord. H will fix that): Edited: Pic size
@RainyDays86 Thanks!! And not weird at all! However I can't take credit because they wall was painted that color when we moved in... if I think of it when I get home I'll peek at the paint cans we still have to see if they're there!
Okay guys, I don't want to brag, but check out this amazing decor*
*disclaimer: our house is under major construction. No room is being left untouched, with the exception of the master bedroom (which has become storage.) With such a big project, total chaos in my home, and minimal energy, I told husband I wouldn't do any decorating this year. Because he's so busy with the project he couldn't even put up our outdoor lights, so I surprised him this weekend and put out his nerdy Star Wars holiday figures. It makes me laugh.
@chickyclg Hahah seriously. I mean this year she wasn't scared so they are both smiling. How bad is it that I want to leave last years picture up and never replace it?!

@ShadeofGreen816 don't worry about it if it's a hassle. I'm just constantly looking for warm, neutral colors.
Butting in! We did our bedrooms in Sherwin Williams Dorian Grey and wish we'd done the whole house in it, it's so lovely. We did the main parts of our house in "Grayish" by SW because it looked like a nice cool grey, unfortunately it picked up a lot of blue in our home. We've grown to love it, but it's not quite what we'd hoped.
Our tree. We have tons of these colorful stuffed animal ornaments. She loved them last year so we got a bunch more on clearance. I can't wait til next year when we have stair rails and a mantel to decorate!
@kns1988 thanks! We couldn't find anything that matched the majority of our ornaments for a topper so we went with the Santa hat. The tree is 12 ft. We had to get a bigger ladder to decorate it...not a lot of foresight went into buying it obviously
Here's some of our decorations. We have more that I'll try to post later the mountain looking thing in the first picture is the back drop for Rudolph! Our tree always has a new theme each year and this year my mom decided to do ombré white to pink to blue since we are doing the reveal Christmas Eve
Haven't taken any good pictures with the tree decorated. We waited a few days this year because a friend with her toddler came over. I love Christmas and I love all the lights and the garland. Makes me house feel so cozy. Tried a 12' long needle this year, will stick with a short needle fir. Hard to see the ornaments with them
@SWE2 Oh my gosh, I LOVE your house, its so my style. Are you in Texas? AZ houses (at least the ones in our price range annoy me. I like details and charm!). Your decorations are perfect too.
@nda_roxybabe Thanks! I am very traditional with our house and the holidays. I live outside Chicago so not AZ. We have lots of snow and last night it was 4 degrees outside so very cold. ❄️
I don't have a pic of my home decor. It's lacking mainly because my 1 year old will destroy anything within reach. So... here is my work decor the little tree blends in with the monitor but it's there!

My dad made the wooden nativity set and it is the only thing I have left of him. I have loved it ever since I was a little girl.
Plus us we did a wine and canvas kinda deal last week and I'm super happy with how it turned out! I'm SO not artistic so I was worried.
