  • Not much new to report. Still super tired and napping as much as I can. Nausea is still going strong most of the day. I have a hard time wanting to eat anything but feel better once I finally do. Peeing a lot. Oh and now I have a runny nose but I could be getting a cold.

  • My boobs are so sore! I basically have to wear a bra all the time (im usually a take it off once in the door kinda girl).  I havent felt too bad other than that, i do feel sort of nauseous every once in a while, but I really havent been too bad.  But I have found that Im either starving all day or im not hungry at all and have to force myself to eat!

  • I'm super tired all the time and have sore boobs! I'll randomly get reflux which is so not like me so that's new and odd.
  • Has anyone else had bleeding during their pregnancy? I'm almost 7 weeks. I've been bleeding a bit for the last 24 hours (started out light pink, but is now blood red), and it's made me very nervous. It hasn't been as heavy as a period, and I haven't felt any severe cramping, but it has been consistent. I spoke with a nurse who is getting me in for an US tomorrow, so I'm hoping that will tell me more. She said it doesn't sound too alarming since it isn't really heavy, but that I should still be checked out. I'm trying my best to stay calm, but this is my first pregnancy, so I'm scared :(

I am nauseous from the moment I wake up until the moment I fall asleep at night. No vomiting though. Also super tired!

@cassynorwick I haven't experienced this but just wanted to say I'm wishing the best for you. Hope everything looks great at the US tomorrow.

  • SO nauseous!! Like I don't want to eat anything. at all. ever. nauseous. Everything I eat wants to come back up. I'm also incredibly tired but I expected that from DD
    .
@DoulaTog13 also very ragey over here!

@cassynorwick I'd be more insistent about blood work than an ultrasound at this point. I'm hoping for you that it's just some spotting. I had some pretty heavy spotting/bleeding at 9 weeks last time around that just stopped on it's own no real reason. It was incredibly scary.

  • I'm sick...boobs hurt. Man the water hit my nipples last night in the shower and I about screamed. Super tired. And I thought my boob was leaking this morning. Ha. False alarm. I have been feeling some stretching going on down there as well.

  • Except for sore boobs, occasional cramping and major fatigue, I really don't feel much else!  Which at times makes me a little nervous lol..

  • @TheMrs Thanks so much for your well wishes. I really appreciate it!

@Nxy I will be sure to ask for blood work tomorrow - thank you for the tip. And thank you for sharing your past experience with this. It puts my mind a bit more at ease to know that some women have gone through the same thing and everything turned out ok!

I'll be sure to let you guys know what happens tomorrow at my appointment. *positive thoughts*
  • Extremely Sore boobs. Cramping on and off. Nausea in the afternoons. Lower left back randomly hurt for 2 hours yesterday (thank god for the heating pad!) and wanting to sleep every hour of the day
  • So freaking tired! Nausea is starting to kick in, especially when I'm hungry... doesn't help that nothing in my house is appealing to me to eat. Also, my lower back hurts SO bad. I don't remember this with my first, but I'm sure the pain is made worse from carrying a 30 pound toddler around all the time.

  • I'm getting zits under the skin..   normally my skin is clear, these are pretty bothersome!  Otherwise, it's the usual.
  • I'd also like to add...   I'm so grateful for all of these symptoms..   it's reassurance that pregnancy hormones are running through my veins!
  • I had cramping about 7 DPO and lower back pain for a few days. Now I sleep about 10 hours per night, have a definitely increased sense of smell with slight nausea at times, fuller chest, pee a lot, a little round ligament cramp here and there, and hungry as a bear preparing for hibernation! This is at 4 w 6d. I've never had symptoms this early with my other 7 pregnancies! I'm hoping for twins this time around. Time will tell.
  • Symptoms are coming and going...I hope that's normal! Some days I'm starving, some I don't want to eat. Boob pain is strong in the afternoon. More thirsty, and still a bit twingy/crampy.

  • So so so nauseous! Which is the opposite of my last pregnancy which ended in MC. I'm hoping the nausea is a good sign that baby is super healthy and pumping me full of hormones. I'm tired but not as tired as last week, so that's good. Has anyone found a good remedy for the nausea? I recently tried ginger/citrus gummies from CVS labeled for use in pregnancy, but I can't even think about eating  them bc the smell is grossing me out so much!

I had very bad morning sickness with my first. It is a good sign at least! Scroll down a bit in the A17 posts and check out the post "Travel and nausea." A few people left some good suggestions on there. I'd link to it, but I don't know how on the mobile app.
  • Does anyone else have really bad nausea? I have it all day long now and i ended up throwing up anything and everything. I ended up in the hosptial because i couldn't eat or drink for more than a day. I am doing a bit better now. My doctor gave me a nausea medication so i can finally eat and keep down water etc. Does any one know how long this nausea last? I am about 3 days until i am 7 weeks. (blahhh so hate this feeling )  :(
  • @colocali I didn't think about thirst being a symptom... But yeah. I was like, oh the internet says I should drink more water. But I have not needed to force that. Especially when I wake-up.

  • @dmajer. Yes the MS is a wonderful indication that baby is growing well. What I have found over time (and many pregnancies) is to stay on top of the nausea. It is important to stay hydrated any way you can (as dehydration will make it worse): a little lemon or lime in water, coconut water, peppermint or red raspberry tea warm or cold. Drink one sip at a time and try to drink a cup every hour. Also you have to make sure you eat enough. Have crackers by your bed and eat some before you get up. Don't let your stomach get empty. Keep a piece of fruit or crackers in your purse for emergencies. I have found protein-packed foods like raw nuts, or mozzarella cheese works well too. Just some thoughts. Hope you feel better. :-)
  • Right now I have major insomnia! I wake up between 4-5:30 every morning, which is NOT normal for me. I generally have trouble sleeping, so I guess it's just a little worse. I just got a magnesium oil spray to help with sleep and any potential morning sickness. Aside from mild cramping at times, I feel pretty good. Still going to the gym (I'm a dedicated 5x/week Crossfitter). I really hope I can manage to continue. My boobs aren't super painful, just really full/heavy feeling (and hulking out with veins....CRAY).

  • @littlebug2010 I'm struggling with appetite too! I thought it was weird because normally I can't stop eating, but right now I am just not hungry. I don't have aversions per say, just nothing sounds good!! I am hungry in the morning, but the rest of the day not so much.

  • @RaeFrog82 I thought it was just me, but Im glad to know its not.  I think this might be my version of MS.  I have a pretty strong stomach, and never get nauseous, so I wouldnt be surprised that my aversion to eating and just feeling kinda blah around food in general is my MS.  It seems to go away towards the end of the day, so by the time dinner rolls around Im usually kinda hungry.  But it does make cookie baking kinda interesting, mostly because I cant fathom eating anything to even test to dough, so my DH has to deal with all of that, poor guy.

  • @RaeFrog82 I too am having a very hard time sleeping. I had trouble prior to pregnancy, but now its even worse. Also, to add on top of that- I have restless legs at night! I am just so antsy at night! I'm hoping in a couple weeks I'll be exhausted and can just sleep through the night!

  • So glad I'm not alone in the symptoms boat. Last pregnancy I felt pretty good until 8 weeks, this time it started around 6... Pukey and exhausted is an understatement. Lots of cramping. Being a SAHM and chasing an 18 month old around all day while feeling like this deserves a freaking medal if you ask me
  • Hi! Appetite is blah... not so nauseated anymore. No sore boobs - still! Cramps are coming and going- And I am so gassy! It's so embarrassing!!  I'm glad to know I have symptoms but then I freak out when they go away.

@bestnameever I just got this magnesium oil spray which is supposed to help with all of that! Sleep, restless legs, and even MS.

  • @littlebug2010 Let's hope so!! I have a pretty strong stomach as well, so I'm really really hoping. I would say the prospect of nausea was probably 2nd on the list of fears about pregnancy, only bumped down by the actual labor lol. I do NOT tolerate it well. It happens so rarely, and I hate throwing up. I will lay in misery salivating and swallowing as long as possible...it's an awful feeling!!

  • @Nicki2525 I'm the same way!! When I'm feeling too good I get worried! I still pee on a stick every day, how embarrassing. I can usually rely on some mild cramps to show up at some point though.

  • I cramp a lot too. And I get nauseous throughout the day. I'm also tired a lot. My skin is so dry, but also breaking out at the same time. My boobs have been a little sore, but not too bad. But mostly, I'm just anxious and praying for a healthy and safe pregnancy.
  • I get a lot of boogers now. It's annoying. :s I've heard it's a late pregnancy symptom but it's already struck me.

  • @RaeFrog82  yes! I was feeling so bad today I pee'd on my last one! I thought, "if this makes me feel better- what the heck!"  And it made me feel better. ;) ha!

TMI...I cried during sex, right after orgasm. An oddly uncontrollable mix of crying and then laughing that I was crying. That happened with my first and is actually the reason I went out and bought a pregnancy test, because that was not normal for me at all! LOL. It never happened during my second pregnancy. But at least this time it wasn't such a shocker. Just trying to take it as a good sign that my hormones are clearly raging.

Edit: I'd love to know if this has happened to anyone else??

@littlebug2010 I'm with you on the cookie making. I had to stop at two batches. I get waves of tiredness, heartburn, nausea, and headaches, (all of those were normal for me prepregnancy) but I'm pretty good for the time being, knock on wood. My boobs really hurt with the underwire by the end of the day. I'm trying to force myself to drink more water, but I'm a teacher and can only go to the bathroom at certain times... so a I maybe had 32 ounces yesterday. I also have an hour commute each day, so I can't drink too much or I'll have to stop to pee. I'm trying to eat watery fruits too... My hair and nails are growing fast and look fabulous! I've been taking prenatals for a year, so I know it's not just that.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @nbashley Ugh DH and I haven't had sex since I told him the big news!! I think he might be scared he's going to hurt the little bean (first time parents over here) and I'm way too tired to initiate. Obviously that's crazy and there is no risk. Need to fix this haha.

  • Haha @secicc12 when you're feeling up, to it you should! As far as I know, unless your doctor has specifically told you to be on pelvic rest, it's ok. Some people find pregnant sex is better because of the increased blood flow. So who knows! But just be prepared in case you go crazy like me and then end up crying and laughing. LOL

This week going 6weeks pregnant  I've had cramps (which led to just a tiny bit of spotting yesterday), headaches like everyday, nausea (I though it was bad before now it's worse), constipation, gas, increase in sense of smell, thirsty a lot more even though I try to drink a lot of water, boobs are ridiculously sore, skin seems really itchy today and the fatigue oh the fatigue...and the frequent urination.
  • I'm having awful diarrhea. For the past couple of days, every time I eat, I get sick.  My obstetrician called in Diclegis yesterday and I haven't been sick yet today, but I do have gas.  I'm starting to feel queasy and burping a lot. Until Monday, I was constantly starving, now I have to force myself to eat
