Anyone want to join a secret fb group July 21-31 edd

I made a secret group called FireFlies. If anyone is interested with your due date between July 21st to the 31st.

    I have not posted here before. The window is small but it's nice to have women close in dates so you can share more of the timing. I am a member of a secret group that was called easter eggs hatching 2015. This group of women are amazing. I would like to recreate something similar for the above mentioned dates. I can't imagine my pregnancy being the same without that group. It was such a beautiful thing to share bump pics, worries, advice and much more. The amount of support and love in that group is worth trying to share with a new group. I have made lifetime friends and get to watch bellies to babies to toddlers. I'm hoping we can create this together.

    Yes to a degree. I know with my pregnancy there was a lot of drama and hateful people on these sites. Sometimes a lot of the post get lost down the line. So for me Facebook is more organized. I'm just trying to build something nice and more personalized.

    The fb group is a secret group. Only members will be able to see what's said on there. If anyone not apart of the group searches for it, they will not find it. As for real names on this site. I can easily give my email and go that route so it is confidential

    I haven't seen any drama or hatefulness on here thus far, just a bunch of future mommies with lots of questions and sharing their knowledge (: of course there's the occasional thread that asks for opinions but I haven't seen anything more than just people agreeing to disagree on things. As long as you're keeping up with the posts they don't get you lost or confused! Eventually all the posts from everyone's first trimester will become irrelevant, so it's ok that they get buried in the group. 
    EDIT: also, if you need to see an old post and are having a hard time finding it, just post in here and I'm sure someone can link you to the old one.

    Seems a little early to be joining a FB group. too many crazies to weed out. My N15 group  didn't start a FB until after the babies were born.

    We started one while we were all pregnant. With the due dates between April 1st to the 7th. But we had babies born from Feb to late April. It was a neat experience

    But like OP, you really put your REAL name in your OP. Have you never heard of Catfish? It happened here, on TB, like 2 years ago. Even if you start this group, they can make fake facebook profiles and steal people pictures, backgrounds, identities, and yours as well. You didn't quite think this through did you?

    Ok ladies I hear you. I apologize I was just excited to be part of something that could be great. You are all right!! I probably could have gone about this in a different manner. I got too excited and apparently ahead of myself. Thank you all for your input. I put my real name up there because I have nothing to hide. I also don't live in fear. I guess I trust people until they give me a reason not to. I totally understand being apprehensive. I get it. So I hope you all have healthy pregnancies and happy babies.

    Holy moly!! I just spent way too much time reading that thread. DS2 woke me up at 1:30am with vomit, and now it's 3am and I am going to regret staying up and reading all that. But OMG.

    That was a great waste of time. Except all the banned posts since one of the key players was banned.

    Holy hell. That's nuts. I don't get why people do that...I mean the one lady was trying to get money from the GFM, so I can see the end game.  But what was the end game for that "couple?" What is the point off lying about all that for a year? People are seriously screwed up.

    Probably nothing exciting. A lot of people got banned a few years ago for no good reason, and then a lot of people intentionally got themselves banned after that, so any thread from before about Jan 2015 is going to have a lot of holes in it.

    I remember that catfish thread, the whole thing was bizarre to me.  Like didn't the detective eventually get called out as a catfish too?  Or am I thinking of a different one?
