@canavara Yeah, we're for sure head down. I'm totally cool with the med school students (unless they are the class of 2019 because I have TA'd for them). But this one was not very smooth with his delivery of news that could potentially be bad for a 36w pregnant woman.
@newyearsbaby5 Poor med school student! My friend is in med school, and she is very adamant about going into forensic pathology (has worked previously in the field for 10 years). She says she knows she's going to make patients uncomfortable, simply because all of her prior anatomical/patient handling training has been with the deceased. Maybe you had one who is really uncomfortable with pregnant women? Haha!
I was supposed to have my apt yesterday but due to a power outage it got reschedule for today.
At my apt I had high blood pressure which hasn't been typical for me at all, my BP is always really steady. I also have been swelling a lot this week and experiencing lots of numbness and tingling in my feet and especially in my wrists BUT I have carpal tunnel already so in pregnancy it always gets worse.
Either way my doctor was concerned and put me on bed rest at home for the weekend and I have to go back first thing on Monday to get checked again. If I have headaches or right side pain I have to go to L&D.
These last two weeks have been such a whirlwind. I so thought I would end up overdue and now I have a feeling this baby just wants out early so we shall see.
