When I get THO, my nipples are so dang painful. It almost feels like they are tearing or something.
I was outside in the cold for about 15 minutes on Sunday. When I got in the car, I had the tearing feeling. It was so bad that I had to literally hold and massage my boobs to warm those puppies up.
On my left one, the pain felt like hot water on cold toes, but radiating through my entire breast. When I looked at my nipple, it had literally turned white due to the cold. Apparently the extreme pain and whiteness due to lack of blood flow are a combination side effect some people experience during pregnancy.
@MotherofDragons that is what I found through my Dr. Google degree! I got worried when I saw it was white and that was the only explanation I could find coupled with the pain when cold. It's really no fun. Did it cause problems for you when breast feeding?
@swanbrooner No issues at all, thankfully. Just discomfort with temperature changes. If I was cold or got into the hot shower, it would cause some pain. Early on it was worst but I got used to it.
This is probably dumb to worry about but I think I should be showing more at 12 weeks than I am. This is my second baby so I feel like I should have a bump already. It's still just bloat and it's making me paranoid.
MC Sept 2010 BFP Oct 2011 - DD born July 2012 TTC again since July 2014 First IUI 9/26/16: BFP! EDD 6/19/2017 It's a girl!
Born 6/26/17, 9lb 5oz
So I knew it was likely coming but my son has officially weaned right around 12 weeks. Hes 20 months so I am proud of the time we made it and it was gradual but its still a little bitter sweet. This pregnancy Ive lost about 5 lbs. Im thinking it might be because of the weaning. Has anyone else experienced weight loss from weaning during pregnancy? I plan to ask my midwife at my next appointment.
This might be a FFFC, but I love going to TTGP and reading the TWW and Grad threads.
I lurked there a long time ago and intro'd but got pregnant right away so just left. Well I got addicted to reading people's posts and going back the next day to see if they tested and what happened. I don't even know these girls and I sit there and am like "I hope so and so got their BFP!" And then I like reading when they come back to check in. I know we have a couple of girls here.

THIS! I was only active for our last month of TTC so I don't consider myself a regular over there and don't feel I'm one who should be checking in, but I still love lurking and supporting those women. : I stay current on the weekly post from the grads in our group too.
I confess... I too am equally guilty of the stalking the TTGP TWW and grad threads. I get creepily excited for the when I see tons of responses on a grad thread. I figure either lots of people got their BFP or someone who has been there quite some time got the much deserved BFP and the thread goes nuts. Those ladies are awesome and I hope they all make it to a BMB soon.
I stalk the other birth months groups for info about what might be coming in the near future! I also love to go to the groups that are already having their babies! I just about cry over every birth story I read with all the sweet baby pictures ;-)
I went to the doctor today and all is well...she told me to get a belly band but not what type of brand I was wondering if anyone had one to recommend. She also told me to get a snoogle but that is a specific brand so that is easier. Thanks for any help!

@amberp1528, like to help your pants fit longer or a support band?
@FSUNole31 story of my life. I teach from 10-10:50, and because its the last weeks of the semester we end 10 -15 mins early, and i'm like... MEH close enough... Lmao
@amberp1528 i got my snoogle at Babies r Us, if you register there, then buy it off your registry you get 10% back in a giftcard.
God I'm just so winded. I bent over to get my chapstick out of my purse this afternoon and got winded. It doesn't help that I have a cold and can't breathe through my nose, but still. This is just beyond words pathetic.
I was supposed to go see my grandma the day after christmas to visit for 4 days. But she just contracted Shingles. I'm so sad... I miss her, I lived with her for a year and was really looking forward to seeing her.
Can I ask this? Does anyone here sell Lularoe? If so... please PM me...

Do you have a suggestion for both? First timer over here!

Same here. I carried DD up the stairs to change her diaper today and was breathing SO hard. She's only a year old but she looked a little concerned lol
@amberp1528 Target carries a Belli band that is affordable. I don't know how it "stands the test of time," but it works for now. I just got one and use it often before laundering. I put a snoogle on my Christmas list because I've seen so many people commenting on it.

My three year old comes to work with me to go to preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My classroom is on the third floor and the cafeteria is in the basement. She asked if I could carry her up the stairs after lunch because she was getting tired. No, sweet girl, no mommy can't. I tried it the other day and almost died. I feel bad though because she looked all sad and asked if she was getting too big.

I had one of the belly bands from target but being a size 14-16, I didnt find it comfortable (I loathe tight things). Just today I found a plus size one on jcpenney.com so I ordered that to see if I like it! After discounts I think it was like $13. They had it in regular size too though.

I didn't wean during pregnancy, but when I stopped breastfeeding, after 2 years, I gained 8 pounds.

We brought DD (age 2) to the appt with us and when it was time to listen for the hb with the Doppler we asked DD if she was ready to hear the baby. As soon as we could hear the hb, her eyes got so big and she started babbling a million words a minute. It was all she talked about for the rest of the night. And she kept imitating the hb. It's making me cry again just thinking about it.
