I'll go first since I have a minute.
1. How far along are you? What is your EDD?
12 weeks! 6/19/17
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having?
Not too much at the moment...headaches and some weird back/hip pain, sore boobs.
3. When is your next appointment?
Wednesday, I can't wait.
4. Anything else you'd like to share?
My symptoms have been slowly going away so I am nervous. I am anxious to hear the heartbeat at my appt. I'm super paranoid that the Dr won't be able to find it and I'll have to have an emergency u/s or something.

I'm still hiding the bump from people at work until after my appt this week, but it's getting pretty obvious. Other than that, just trying to take it easy and not get too stressed.

2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? fatigue, nausea, cramps.
3. When is your next appointment? 12/19/16
4. Anything else you'd like to share? Very anxious for my next appointment. I was released from my RE last week, and have never gone more than one week without an appointment, so waiting two more weeks is not going to be easy! I've been having pretty bad cramping but no bleeding but of course am over analyzing everything so I can't wait until I can hopefully hear their heartbeats again!

I've pretty much been too tired to do ANYTHING. Luckily my DH has been great, helping me with errands and cleaning etc. The only person we've told so far is my mom. We had a loss around 11 weeks before, so we are trying to get to the 12 week point before we share with everyone! It is getting pretty hard though as I had very severe OHSS and still have quite a baby looking bump from this. Whenever we are around people that don't know I've been wearing baggy tunics, but can't wait until we can finally announce it!

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? I'm 6weeks 1 day

2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Pure exhaustion, and little appetite.

3. When is your next appointment? 12/12- I had an emergency ultrasound today due to bleeding yesterday. The bleeding subsided overnight. The on call Dr was awful, very uncaring and seemed bothered by my call. Then we were sent to the wrong location to get the ultrasound so we had to drive another hour to the other location. Luckily the nurses at the RE office are SO wonderful and worked it out so we could get in right away at the other location. In the end, we found out our little bean is okay. We were able to see the yolk sac, no detectable heartbeat since it is still very early. Luckily the bleed is pretty far away from the sac and most likely will not cause any issues. It made me laugh because the ultrasound tech was looking around there for quite a while trying to see if there was another little bean. They drew another HCG and progesterone today...still waiting on those results.

We are doing most of our shopping online. I have little patience for crowds, busy parking lots etc. A few close friends and my boss knows we are expecting. We plan to surprise our families on Christmas.

I hope its ok I join - I'm very newly pregnant after fortunately not being with the RE for long. I was active on the IF page and would love to still be part of a community!

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? 4 weeks - Just had my first and second beta - EDD August 13 2017
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Cramping (mostly due to endo still), bit tired.
3. When is your next appointment? December 20th for first U/S
4. Anything else you'd like to share? Just still very shocked - I know I'm very fortunate given my severe endo that IUI worked for me - we had just booked IVF consults!

If the ultra sound goes well on the 20th, we'll tell close family on Christmas Day. So excited about that! Until then my team here at work know, since they knew about the treatments~!

@JWatt5 of course you are welcome! It doesn't matter if your journey was a month or several years, we've all been through some form of a fertitily struggle so it's nice to be able to speak to others with similar situations!
That is wonderful that IUI worked for you! I'm sure there are some other ladies who share in your success!

@ARB425 so happy the bleeding wasn't anything severe and your little bean is still cozy in there!! I had a scare this past Wednesday. I had a sono that night at the hospital and my little babes were both okay then. It was a subchoronic hemorrhage that they said should resolve itself. I have my follow up appointment today at 2:30. Praying they are both safe and sound still!

@jwatt5 Congratulations and welcome! I wasn't sure when the "appropriate " time to post was either but I feel telling myself I'm pregnant today so I'm just going to soak it in for now.

@colleen0516 I hope your appointment goes well today. Glad everything was okay with the babies last week! I know bleeding during the 1st trimester is common but it was still super scary!

Well hcg level just just came back at over 25,000 so we've are good there. My progesterone is at 40 so no Need to increase my.meds.

1. I am 8weeks 5 days pregnant and I am due July 12th
2. My symptoms have been fading in and out. Some days I'm nauseous, other days I'm fine. I'm still tired- I don't think that will ever go away lol.
3. I had my first OB appointment today, so my next one is in 2 weeks on December 20th! He actually set up one for Jan 3rd already too!
4.At my appointment all looked good! Both babies were growing and had heartbeats still! I miss my RE so much though. My OB is good, but I love my RE.
He insisted on doing a Pap smear (said it was protocol), I wasn't pleased because I bleed so easily, but oh well- I know to expect it. He went through ALL the pregnancy stuff-so much to take in!

QOTW: I've been trying to online shop to avoid the busy malls and because I am so tired I don't want to walk for hours.
I'll be 12 weeks at Christmas so I plan on telling my extended family on both sides during the holiday! Fingers crossed I make it til then (scared by infertitly, I live moment to moment theses days! lol)

@colleen0516 that's awesome your appointment went so well! Glad to hear both babies are doing wonderful.

Isnt it terrible how infertility makes you question and second guess EVERYTHING? I have to remind myself daily... well sometimes several times a day to just enjoy being pregnant today.

I'll be sad as well to leave my RE and RE nurses. They are so amazing. I'm hoping she can give me a referral to a new OB/GYN because my last one told us to keep trying naturally although we had been trying for 1.5 years and didn't want to run ANY diagnostics or blood work. I had to basically beg her for a referral to a RE.

2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Nausea, spotting, big sore boobies, cramping, food aversions, and major exhaustion

4. Anything else you'd like to share? Just switched insurance plans 12/1. Going from a PPO to an HMO and now I have to select a new OB since my current one does not accept HMO. I'm having the hardest time picking a new one thanks to online reviews and I'm super frustrated

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? 9 weeks, 3 days. EDD 8th July
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Nausea is calming down (although lunch didn't sit well today and I had to throw up twice at work!) but cramping, sore stomach and still killer sore boobs.
3. When is your next appointment? We had a dating scan today!

Everything was looking perfect and s/he was wriggling around which was incredible to see! Heartbeat was one thing but seeing movment really makes it feel real.
We actually didn't need a dating scan (there's no mystery in IVF!) but it's a free scan so I wanted it! Now we won't have a scan till 12 weeks, which is technically Christmas day so we need to work out when they can fit me in.
4. Anything else you'd like to share?
I'm just itching to tell everyone now, I'm finally getting excited and I want to get out of this danger zone so I can share the excitement with everyone!

We are doing a Secret Santa with family this year which is great so I only have a couple of presents to buy and will be so much cheaper!
Family already know and they are freaking out about how to feed me at Christmas! My SIL has a 10 month old but she didn't follow any of the rules about eating. We are in the southern hemisphere so it's summer and we normally have lots of rare meat, smoked salmon and shellfish...all the things I'm avoiding! Oh well, extra desert for me!

2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? currently only headaches daily and the boobs overfloweth lol
3. When is your next appointment? today i meet my OB nurse yay!
4. Anything else you'd like to share? nervous about today b/c no one told me what the nurse is really going to do, will she need another u/s for herself rather than from RE? will she get the Doppler out so i can hear for the first time?? with the snow we had sunday night DH is probably not working (he's a landscaper) so i hope he can meet me there as he hasn't been to anything, even the tx of this one.

Being pregnant hasn't affected any holiday plans so far. I announced on FB last week so now everyone knows. I'm basically done shopping unless I find something else for my mom. Life and being pregnant is going pretty good at the moment.

No drinking mulled wine or my mom's amazing egg nog this year for sure! I have already been shopping (had to pass the tww somehow, right?) and decorated our mantle with a little stocking! As for my pregnancy, those closest to us know, and we'll make a big announcement after the first trimester...if we can wait that long! FX we'll be going to Amsterdam and Paris in Feb, I'd like to announce there via fb that we are expecting.

3. When is your next appointment? I had my first OB visit yesterday and all is looking good. The little one was even waving at us. Blood work for NIPT next week and then my NT scan Jan 4.

We are going to reveal to both sets of parents through Christmas gifts. I ordered grandma/grandpa mugs for mine and will include an ultrasound photo. I did all of my other shopping online - I hate stores this time of year.

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? 7 weeks | EDD: 7/25/17
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Sore breasts, insanely heightened sense of smell which is making most food totally unappealing. Except cheese - for some reason cheese in all shapes or forms sounds incredible.
3. When is your next appointment? My first u/s was today - I didn't feel comfortable even posting here until I had made it through that. All good though - amazing to finally be able to see and hear a heartbeat. It seems so much more real now

My next u/s is 12/20 - two weeks from today.
4. Anything else you'd like to share? Happy to see several faces from previous IF boards and look forward to learning more about those of you I haven't 'met' yet.

So I was a little hesitant to post on here since it's so early but I'm being as positive as possible!

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD?
5 weeks, 4 days after 2 rounds of IVF and 3 FET's. My EDD is August 4th
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having?
Not too much. I'm overly emotional, boobs are sore but not crazy, super tired and occasionally feeling nauseous but nothing too crazy...yet!
3. When is your next appointment?
This Friday is our first ultrasound. Can't wait to find out if it's 1 or 2 and to see them!
4. Anything else you'd like to share?
I feel incredibly blessed to have gotten to this point and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

Christmas is really the only time we get together with both sides of the family so although we will only be 8 weeks we are planning on telling the family that day. Still deciding on what the reveal will be!

Hello, I hope I'm posting in the right place. I am currently 6w4d with our 2nd attempt at IVF. EDD 7/29/2017. This time was a frozen transfer and yesterday we heard the heartbeat. This pregnancy comes after almost 4 years of trying so we are extremely excited. Our 3 IUIs and first transfer of two fresh embryo didn't take. My husband just turned 35 and I will be 35 in April. My symptoms have been mild for the most part. I have a lot of bloating and gas but nausea is so mild I rarely notice it. My rear hurts more then anything from all the shots. I nap most afternoons but that helps just for me it seems most days. We have been pretty open about our infertility journey so lots of close friends and family found out at Thanksgiving since our blood work was the Monday before. I want to tell lots of other people who know of our situation but waiting a few more weeks. Since hearing the heartbeat yesterday it's harder to keep quite. Well wishing all sticky thoughts and happy holidays. Definitely a holiday season I won't forget.

I was hoping to wait until after the holiday to tell my co-workers, but it’s becoming harder and harder to hide it. I might break down and tell them tomorrow.

We announced to family over thanksgiving, but we told them we are waiting until the 20 week scan to find out the sex…. We’ve known since 6 weeks! So we are planning to surprise them someone with the gender over Christmas.

I know after IF it's hard to relax and enjoy your pregnancy but especially this first trimester it's great to have people to share the excitement and worries with others. I've found this forum has made it much easier to keep my pregnancy to only a few people as I can share things on here that I want to share in real life!

6 weeks + 6 days & EDD = 7/27/17

FATIGUE and dizziness
3. When is your next appointment?
I actually don't have one! The RE graduated me and I haven't scheduled an OB appt yet.
4. Anything else you'd like to share?
Had an ultrasound today and everything looked good. Heart rate was 132 bpm & crown-rump length was 10.1 mm, so everything appears to be right on track. I had a pretty decent bleed 9-10 days ago and I've been spotting ever since. They could see a hemorrhage on the ultrasound and it is about a 1/3 the size of the gestational sac (I actually thought it was maybe a 2nd sac at first). RE said to continue to take it easy until the bleed completely subsides - which is awesome because we're moving across town this weekend! I'm thinking I'm going to have to explain to some of our moving helpers why I'm being so "lazy."

With moving & packing - I'm way too tired for any shopping. I did the BARE minimum I could (all via online) and I'm sending my mom a check to buy for my side of the family, so I don't have to even worry about it. Both of our immediate families already know about the pregnancy, but I'm planning to tell my Gma when we're home over the holidays, BUT that means I also have to assume the world will know after that. She's 81 and on Facebook and has NO CLUE what's appropriate or not to post... and I'm sure she'll call to tell everyone at her church anyway, regardless of FB... oh the joys of being from a small town! We didn't tell her about any of the IVF stuff because I didn't want to end up on the 1st Baptist Church prayer list for the whole world to know, hahaha.

@nellin That's why I love this forum! Not many people I know have struggled with infertility so it's really hard for people to understand what it's like. Most people have said to me "relax it will happen" or my favorite " I wish I had that problem, my husband looked at me and I was pregnant"... yeah I wish! Now that I'm actually pregnant but trying to keep it a secret from most people in my life, it's great to have a community to share all the amazing things that are happening. I just had to share how much I appreciate everyone here.

Hi everyone! I'm new to this board, I was on IF a little, but my second transfer was a success and I just had my first ultrasound yesterday so I thought I'd join you all. Congratulations to everyone!

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? 7W4D, EDD July 23, 2017
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Good lord the nausea. I'm finding it so difficult to stomach anything more flavorful than a bagel. Not throwing up, just not feeling good.
3. When is your next appointment? Need to make some calls and get myself an OB!
4. Anything else you'd like to share? Just so grateful to finally be here. It has been a long few years.

We already told our parents, siblings, and I've told a few close friends who have known about the process. I have a feeling this pregnancy is going to be the worst-kept secret, though. I'm gaining weight around the middle, I'm normally a healthy eater but have been eating a ton of bagels at work. My husband has a large group of college friends who are all local, and they're all terrible at keeping secrets. Heck, my husband blurted out "My pregnant wife!" at Thanksgiving in front of his grandmother, who we hadn't told. But I don't think she noticed.

Cautiously posting here. My betas both looked good, but first ultrasound isn't until next week. Figured I might as well stop lurking and join while I wait.
1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? 5 weeks, 5 days EDD 8/5/17
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? My boobs are getting giant and my nipples are crazy sensitive. I had congestion from the time I got a positive until today. Otherwise, not much. It kinda freaks out. Lol
3. When is your next appointment? Next Wednesday
4. Anything else you'd like to share? Got lucky on the 2nd IUI after a year of trying. There were 2 follicles, so waiting to see if I'm having one or two.

Shopping was done via the internet, so no impact there. We're not telling anyone until after the 1st trimester, not even family. Hopefully it'll be easy to hide, since it's early. Need to think of some good reasons why I'm not drinking. My family is big on cocktails while opening presents.

@Colleen0516 - just noticed that my EDD at the top shows as July not August (I really wish it was July though haha).
I haven't had a chance to ask my RE this question (I don't see her again until the 20th) so just wondering, when does the progesterone support stop? My understanding is at about 12 weeks, is that right?

JWatt5 Advice seems to differ. Apparently your placenta should be doing the work from week 8 but most people continue for another couple of weeks. I'm 10 weeks today and stopping today - bit freaked out but also looking forward to less pills to swallow! I'm not feeling nauseous much any more but my gag reflex is still very strong.

@JWatt5 my RE has them continue until I am 12 weeks. To @Nellin 's point though, it seems that it's different based on your doc varying from 8 - 12 weeks. I feel like i'm a bit on the longer end but what's 2 more week's worth of needles at this point?

Hi ladies - hope there's room for one more here I was too scared to join until I had my first US which was this morning, where we confirmed not one but TWO little ones! I had my suspicions because I had high betas and we transferred two, but it was still surreal to confirm it. We are very excited but IF has made us very realistic so we understand there's a long road ahead. For now we're choosing not to drive ourselves crazy with all the what ifs and just be happy!

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? 5w4d, EDD is 8/6/17 but with twins I'll likely go earlier
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Fatigue, boobs, and the nausea just started these last couple days
3. When is your next appointment? 12/19 - hoping to hear heartbeats!
4. Anything else you'd like to share? I'm so freakin excited to be here after lurking on this board since starting IVF over the summer (first transfer failed, this was my first FET) and it's nice to see some names I recognize from the IF boards

QOTW: Pregnancy and the holidays: How will being pregnant affect your holiday season? Too tired to shop? Trying to hide your pregnancy? Any big plans or reveals?? My job (I'm in sales) includes a lot of schmoozing and cocktails, especially this time of year. I've never been a heavy drinker at work things but it's been challenging coming up with excuses the past couple weeks! Also, we are telling our parents over Christmas - we didn't tell them when we did IVF (I overshared during the early months and I couldn't handle the constant asking every failed month - however well-meaning). They think we've been on a break so it will be a very happy surprise. They will be the first grandchildren on both sides. I am having dinner next week with my two best girlfriends and I think I will probably tell them too. We're waiting until we get through the first trimester until we tell extended family and other friends.

@jwatt5 I'll be asking my RE on Monday when I can stop the progesterone suppositories. I've heard anywhere between 8-12 weeks. Honestly im a little nervous since I had bleeding this week. They said that I would likely have more bleeding but that hasn't occurred. Im thinking it has maybe absorbed?
