@adirat here is the story and anyone else who likes a good gross story
Sorry I dont know how to do the spoiler box so:
**** GROSS STORY if you dont like gross stuff dont read******
So there were many instruments that had food particles in them, mostly becuase kids would eat breakfast and then go to practice. So we had to scrape and sometimes dig out chunks of mystery food. This was normal, so pretty easy to get used to. But one day I opened a case it it smelled like something died in there. It was a saxophone so lots of space to hide stuff. Well I started to clean it, and looked into the bell and saw something, but couldnt get it out. So it got a bath, and when I dumped it out, a what I think was a sandwich with some mystery meat came out. It was blue, fuzzy, slimy, and had the worst smell ever, but whats even worse is that there was some sort of animal feces in there too, there were tons of black round pellets that came out with it, and they were stuck to the pads from the keys! We had to remove most of the pads and replace them. So basically some kid lost an unwrapped sandwich in the sax, stopped playing the rest of the year, but left the case open and a mouse/rat/hamster got in there and snacked for a while before it molded so bad. I almost threw up on the sax, and had to take a good break after that. That one ended up being thrown away and the family was charged, because the rotten sandwich and animal waste started to corrode the inside of the instrument and it didn't play correctly anymore. BTW a student sax that is brand new can cost from 400 to 1000 dollars depending on brand! The parents were pissed.

@mrsegan13 Oh, that internship sounds scary and fascinating! lol
@virginiaham Yay for a great appt! Glad you got some hopeful news.
Month/Cycle: 6/5
CD/DPO: 27/11
Timing: O
Testing: BFN again
R/R: I'm still irrationally annoyed that I got a warning from TB about my extremely mild post to the drive-by yesterday. Wouldn't want to "ruin her enjoyment" of the site, or whatever it was.
CS/Q: Temp slightly lower but still up. Expecting a drop tomorrow because I've never had a LP longer than 11 days yet.
GTKY: In honor of all the ladies with new job offers (woohoo!), have you ever had a weird or unusual job? Well, this is super embarrassing. Please don't judge me. I worked as an adult text chat operator for about 2 days. I did it because it seemed easy and you could do it from home. Thought it would be an easy way to make a few extra bucks. It was just way too high maintenance lol You had to have several going at once (on PC, not phone) and keep track of each "character" they were talking to. Then if they were from the US there were strict rules about the kinds of things you could say or not say. Plus the dudes were just creepy. Not worth it!
@adirat Happy (early) six months! You'll have something to celebrate either way We are actually coming up on our six months at the end of December - right over when FF predicts I'll have my next FW if I am not KU
@spiderlover25 I think you should cheat - it's date night!
@vegetalienne That's brutal! I don't know if I could have held back from saying something... especially since in theory, managers are supposed to be more sensitive to touchy topics
Month/Cycle: 3/2

Testing: trying not to think about it - I'm hoping to delay as much as possible
R/R: It's Friday! I'm really looking forward to having a weekend where I don't have to do anything
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: I haven't really had any weird jobs. I did work for the Ministry of Natural Resources one summer, pretty much getting paid to do volunteer work, including going camping (to help maintain campsites) for a couple of weeks.
@adirat I only temped for one cycle before this one, and cpverline was just below 97.2.
Thanks for all your insight! I'm driving myself crazy because I'm putting so much faith in this temping thing, and in my mind it can't be wrong. After my BFN yesterday, I said to my H I just want my body to do something because limbo + Google is the worst.
@ohemge: sorry for the frustrations. Generally, if your temps stay above the coverline for at least 18 days and your O day is correct, then you should expect to be pregnant. If you don't turn a positive by then and your temps are up, I would probably schedule a doctors appointment.
I'll be honest ladies, I already drank all the wines last night. It was a sad moment for me. I'm probably going to take a break from the board this weekend and just relax, hang out with DH and DS, and remind myself that my life is pretty awesome right now, whether or not I'm KTFU.

I disagree. The likeliest scenario in that case is your O date is wrong. The standard for seeing a doctor is 60 days with no AF and no bfp, not "maybe my temps are doing a weird thing for 18 days." @ohemgee I really would assume your CH were premature and everything is fine.
@adirat: I meant to have it phrased if O is correct. I agree, it's likely O date is wrong. But when talking with my doctor, she said higher temps past 18 days that do not go down can be a sign of your body producing too much progesterone (if you aren't pregnant) and can also be a problem. I probably would wait until closer to 25+ days of high temps, no dip and no period...if I had confirmed O. But that's just the advice my OB gave me and TCOYF said something similar.
I'm not sure where to ask this question, if i'm not in the right spot, let me know.
When you are calculating your cycle days, i understand you count up to the day before your next period starts...but what happens if you have different amount of days each cycle? Do you take the average of the days?
Basically i had a CD32 in August (i just got off my BC at the end of July), CD 30 in Sept, October CD32. Looking at that i would just say oh yeah, CD32 is my usual, or should i take into consideration the CD30 in September?
I'm just trying to figure out if technically AF SHOULD have been here today or if i should really be expecting her tomorrow. My CD1 this month was Nov. 1st.
@dragonfly87@adirat thanks for both of your input. I have my yearly physical middle of this month anyways, so if im still in limbo, it will be at the top of my list of concerns.

Sorry if that's at all confusing.
Your cycle length is made up of the pre-O follicular phase, which can vary month to month, and the post-O luteal phase (LP), which usually doesn't vary by more than a day. So even if I ovulate on CD28 one month, then on CD22 the next month, I know to expect my period 13 days after that O date (because I have a 13-day LP). Does your question mean that you're not temping to track O yet? Because if not, yeah, you're kind of flying blind. And in that case, you should test once a week until you get your period or a BFP, and after 60 days of no period see your doctor.

So awkward question to you ladies (TMI, sorry): yesterday and today, I have had a few episodes of gushes of watery CF. They felt like I was starting AF, but then when I got to the restroom, I realized it was CF.
My question is how to log it in FF. It's definitely not sticky or creamy. But if I put "watery" then the cross hairs on FF turn to dotted lines instead of solid. But I almost positive I O'd on CD 13 because there was a clear and sustained temp shift.
Has anyone experienced this with FF? I am sure it doesn't matter a ton, but I am trying to log accurate symptoms for future cycles and was just curious.

I'd log it even if the CHs turn dotted because you still O'd the same day no matter what FF says. Then you'll have a record of what you experienced to refer to if you experience something similar later. And yes, I've experienced that with FF when I've logged fertile CM. I guess it throws off FF's algorithm?

@eggplantface: Thanks for the response! Yeah..it's weird that it throws it off and thinks somehow O is questionable. I get that watery CF can be a sign of fertility, but I also read in TCOYF that it can happen at the point of transition in a cycle right before AF.
@eggplantface thank you for the information. I have yet to start temping yet (I used OPK this month to get a general idea of when I may ovulate , but this is the first month I've done this). I still have a lot to learn, because honestly I thought your cycle length was just counting from CD1 to the day before the next CD1, I wasn't considering LP. I feel silly...
@jenruss don't feel silly, we all have to learn and what they teach in health class is far from the whole or even accurate picture. I think @eggplantface answered your question well. The other mantra we have here is that you are regular till your not. You can have spot on 28 day cycles with a 14 day LP for your whole life and then one cycle its totally different and that does not necessarily mean there is a problem, its just that bodies change and do weird things sometimes. If you are using OPKs be a wear that some women will get a false surge and not O and then a few days later have another surge with O... so just because you have a +OPK does not necessarily mean you O'd
@dragonfly87 I agree again with @eggplantface I would record the CM even if it changes your CH to dotted. That way you have a better feel for what is normal for you. It only changes it to dotted because technically wet CM is considered fertile CM which in a perfect world is not seen post O but many ladies do see patches of fertile CM post O so I wouldn't stress about it.
