R/R: It's CD1, I have cramps, I am grumpy and people will actually be in the office today which is abnormal for Friday here. Rave: I am eating a brownie for breakfast and I just don't care that it's not healthy.
Edited because Mobile app removed some of my post.
Is there any jewelry that you wear on a regular/daily basis (other than engagement or wedding rings)? I wear the bracelet in the attached picture almost daily. The charm says "Be Brave Be Kind" - it keeps me grounded throughout the day and is sort of my "mantra" I guess. The other charm is a little deer, it reminds me of my grandfather and "home" (where I grew up). And of course my fitbit

R/R: Its 6:30 where I am and I usually don't get up til 7:45 but H decided he needed a shower right now (I'm sleeping on the couch so I don't accidentally smack him in the face and aggrivate his injury) and woke me up which means no temp again this morning.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Is there any jewelry that you wear on a regular/daily basis (other than engagement or wedding rings)?
I have a necklace that is my first initial my parents got me for my 18th birthday/graduations gift and a ring H bought me when we started dating because it reminded him of me.

R/R: Its Friday!! My H has been insane at work, so half of the week he has been staying in the city, so I get to see him tonight!
CS/Q: I have a question! I have read back and forth and back and forth about how often to have sex. Having sex every day is best. Having sex every other day is best. No, JK, its every day. Now its every other...anyone have any idea? The reason I ask is my H and I have a very high sex drive...as in daily and sometimes twice a day, and I know thats bad for TTC, so we have been trying to decrease how often we have sex, but its kind of hard, so if it is fine to do it ED, we will, but if it has to be EOD, we are gonna have trouble. But I really don't wanna fuck this up. Anyone have any insight?
GTKY: Is there any jewelry that you wear on a regular/daily basis (other than engagement or wedding rings)?
I usually dont wear jewelry (not even wedding/engagement rings) due to my job

R/R: I'm almost out of data on my phone, which I'm addicted to. As of last night I had 1.23 GB to use for a week (which I easily go through). I went for a run using a new running app. It used .6GB! Freaking out! I have .53 left and we're going out of town this weekend & I need my phone for the car rides. Verizon has something called safety mode that's supposed to lower internet speeds and not use overage so I'm testing it out today. But yay it's Friday!
CS/Q:
GTKY: Is there any jewelry that you wear on a regular/daily basis (other than engagement or wedding rings)? Only my engagement ring now. I used to have to wear earrings, a necklace, & a bracelet that matches my outfit but I've been too lazy lately
@purplg8r I think with Verizon you can add data just for the month if you need it. I recently upgraded my data plan b/c I kept getting close with my fitness app as well and traveling. The upgrade gave me another GB of data and I think it only added $5 a month to my plan (and it applies to both my phone and DH). Might be worth calling and asking?

I have a David Yurman bracelet that I wear every single day. I used to wear a simple ring on my right hand every single day but I started getting eczema under it... but now I might bring it back out again.

@jess0211 Sorry for CD1! You totally deserve that brownie!
@Dilynne Sorry you got woken up early!
@kiwi2628 Generally they say that ED is fine if YH doesn’t have any issues with his sperm. If he does, then EOD is usually recommended. However, at my annual appointment a few weeks ago, my doctor told me to go for EOD because when you do ED, the buildup of semen can create kind of a sludge.
@purplg8r I know that if we go over our data limit, DH can call Verizon and increase the data before the end of the billing period and we don’t get the overage charge, just the normal additional charge for the increase, which like @jess0211 said is pretty minimal.

WAYDTGKU: waiting for testing
R/R: I got the results from the bloodwork already. Everything came back normal so my Dr is going to wait and see what the u/s says. For reference, TSH was 2.81 and normal range is .4 - 5.5. She had also ordered a CBC so if anyone wants to know those results, I can post a screenshot.
And as happy as I am that I got an IF referral, there’s a part of me that doesn’t want to make the appointment quite yet. In my mind, doing so is admitting that there is something wrong with me and I can’t get KU naturally.
CS/Q: not unless anyone has any insight into what may be causing my short cycles
GTKY: I wear a necklace that DH gave me for our first Christmas that we exchanged gifts. It means a lot to me because our relationship basically went from him say “I don’t know what I want” to giving me jewelry for Christmas and then to “Let’s move in together a few weeks later.” The necklace was the first sign that he really cared about me.

R/R: Guess my rave would be that today's a fresh cycle (missed O this past one, so glad to move onto the next) AND my previous cycle was a respectable 27 days instead of 44 like the previous 3. I am concerned though that my LP is back down to 9 days (went from 7 to 9 to 18, back to 9.) but I guess I won't be able to tell if that will be a problem or not. I'll try not to stress over it right now, but I tend to ruminate over things.

GTKY: Is there any jewelry that you wear on a regular/daily basis (other than engagement or wedding rings)?
I have a Tiffany's necklace and matching bracelet that I wear almost every day. It's a very simple small heart on a chain, and you wouldn't know where it's from just by looking at it. It was my wedding gift from DH. I also wear an Alex & Ani bracelet my sister gave me for my bday last year (says "sister" on it with a lily), my watch, and usually a pair of studs in my ears.
Creepy internet hugs to my CD1 buddies @jess0211, @ColoradoHiker, & @JulesDP
@kiwi2628 -I'm jealous of your high sex drive (sorry if that's creepy or weird lol) DH and I are both kinda on the low side.. which make TTC all the more difficult lol. I'm under the impression that ED or EOD are both good. I think TCOYF recommends EOD if you've been trying a while. Probably should cut back to no more than 1/day though during FW (IMO), as your H could be depleting your chances

And of course the scariest reason I've seen so far for short cycles is the start of menopause. Ugh, I just hope my body doesn't hate me so much to start going through menopause this early.

RE: TSH Mine was at 3.5 and 3.6 when tested, so my RE put me on Levo to get it below 2. So it was well within "normal" range but she wanted it lower. *TW* and the cycle I started the levo was the one I got my first ever BFP, so it could have been that (or it could have been something entirely different, who knows?)

@kiwi2628 I've read that as long as your DH doesn't have any issues with his swimmers, ED is fine. I'd say, go for it.
@BertieMeetsGertie When's your birthday? Mine's this Sunday! Are we CD and bday twins?
@lulu1180 Glad to hear your appointment went well. When I started with my RE, My TSH was a 3.73, within normal range but they said the normal range for TTC is actually under 2.5 so they started me on levo. Within a month on just 50mcg it was at 2.5.
@adirat You make a really interesting point about unmonitored thyroid meds. I was thinking this also but I wanted to start my treatment cycle so bad that I kind of considered it a means to an end. They actually haven't checked my TSH since 4 weeks after I started levo, so I just left a message for my nurse asking if they can test that tomorrow when I go in for monitoring. Either way, I think I might start seeing an endo. Thanks for sharing!!
@antoto YAY fertile week! Have you gone for monitoring? How them follies looking?
