  • @adirat My bank advised us just to link our accounts. So I can see his and he can see mine (online) and we can transfer money easily. I think it also saved us on fees! This is in case anything happens... like divorce mainly. It's much easier to disentangle your assets and accounts. I also have my own credit card to build my own credit.

    I know it happens to some women where their husband takes care of all the finances, they get divorced, then she has 0 credit history! Not that I'm thinking we would get divorced but it's good to have a plan just in case!

    I think I brought our marriage license in.

    @mrsregan13 Most women's LP is 10-16 days. That said, some have shorter and some have longer LPs than that. Mine is 11-13 days based on the data I have so far. It should stay fairly consistent within what's "normal" for you.

    I don't know how the length of your LP affects when implantation happens or why that would matter. You're less likely to get a false negative PG test the longer you wait.

    ETA: @ColoradoHiker @Flinstone @JulesDP Sorry for CD1! Hope you treat yourself tonight.

  • I am sorry for CD 1 @JulesDP and @ColoradoHiker.

    @Flinstone I had a different reasons for a short LP,  but in my experience, my LP lengthen on its own when my horomones started getting back in line.  It could be the same for you.  I have also tried B6 to help lengthen my LP.

    @adirat When we got married, we combined everything with DH's bank.  He has a checking and savings account in just his name and we have a joint account all with the same bank and all accounts are linked.  He kept his account because of issues on my end (advice: don't cosign on anything for anyone.  ever.)  I think we took in the marriage license and of course my ID and possibly social security card.

  • @virginiaham I PMd you
    @lmmtravels gosh, me too but I'm pretty sure I am. I'll watch the level of flow and take my temp tomorrow. Really kicking myself on not temping today at least that would give me indication!

  • @virginiaham I tested yesterday with a digital and an internet cheapie. Both BFN. Put me in a pretty foul mood, so probably not. We have a Christmas party tomorrow night, so maybe tomorrow.  But if my LPs are 12 Day, my train of thought is I would be able to turn a test by now. People on here get squinters at 9dpo.  All my cramps went away too. I have some random shooting pains which is why I've now moved onto cyst research.

    @adirat My H and I joined accounts after we got married, and we brought our marriage certificate. My account was also in my maiden name, so I wanted the account to my in my married name, and I changed the name on my visa.  If you have it, i would bring it just incase.
  • @adirat Just throwing in my two cents! Like @pinky917 H and I opened a joint account after our wedding and kept our personal accounts. It just makes life easier than having to change all your account numbers, etc. We did use the same bank though, so that made it easier.

    It was a pain to change my name though - I had to bring my new driver's license (they wouldn't accept marriage cert or SS card).

    I could've written your post! And now that I recall I think I only brought my marriage certificate in to change my name on accounts so @Khrun17 is probably right.

  • @adirat sure. I stopped charting after CH, but maybe you're right? After CH I had 3-4 days of copious amounts of EWCM and my CP was the highest I've ever noticed.  I decided to stop temping at CH to relieve some stress (since last cycle I compared it to charts every 5 seconds), but obviously that didn't work out for me very well, since im more stressed now wondering what the heck is going on.

    It isnt pretty, but here it is.

    @virginiaham thank you!
