R/R: Considering going back to school for a career change. Met with an advisor yesterday about which courses I could get credit for from my bachelor's and applied to the school so I could start pre-reqs. Not sure if I'm going to follow through completely, but wouldn't mind dipping my toe in some classes and seeing how I like it!
CS/Q: I keep wanting to stop temping. But every night I swear AF is going to come so then I feel like if I temp or see my temp is still above the coverline I'm doing something to channel anxiety. It's been so long since I had an ovulatory cycle I don't know if what I'm experiencing is normal, if I'm BSC, or potentially a symptom (which mean nothing!)
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? I usually don't set resolutions, because I try to do most of the traditional ones like eating well and exercising all year round. Sometimes I do more mental health oriented ones like trying to be more positive, patient, etc. I think this year I might do a pay it forward type thing, buying the occasional coffee for the person in line or so. I had this happen to me twice in one week this fall. I repaid the favor and it's just a good feeling!
@Flinstone Even if you change your mind, taking classes is a good way to test the waters and learning something new is pretty much always good!
Month/Cycle: 4/3 (month rollover if I'm doing this correctly)

GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? I don't really do New Years resolutions either because I try to be healthy and good all year. I love your idea of paying it forward @Flinstone!

@Flinstone - wow! That's so cool to go back to school and change careers. Good luck! And I love your New Years Resolution!! It does feel so good to help someone out even in little ways like that.
Month/Cycle: 9/7
CD/DPO: 21/9
Timing: good
Testing: nope.
R/R: I was reconciling one of our business credit cards at work yesterday, and noticed a late fee, looked up when we mailed the check and it was 10 days before it was due. Long story short, I found a problem we seem to be having that some of our cards (but not all) are getting late fees regularly, even though all the checks are sent the same day. Hopefully I changed our process for the better, and saved us money (and called the bank to get the late fees removed).
CS/Q: nopers
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? A few years back my resolution was to work out 3 days a week...and I've pretty much stuck to it since! This year, DH and I got all of our bank accounts tied to each others name, and use them both, so my resolution is to be way better at tracking our balances. We've been terrible.
@KhRun17 That's great that you've stuck to your work out resolution for so long (so now it's a habit)! That kind of motivation is very impressive
Month/Cycle:5/4
CD/DPO: 31/12 or 13 (not exactly sure when I O)
Timing: -2, 0, +1
Testing: BFN this morning...& that was my last FRER. Going to wait to see if AF shows before testing again.
R/R: It's crazy how your mind can convince you that all these "symptoms" and feeling and ideas will create a different outcome. I'm sure AF is ready to show her ugly face any minute...
CS/Q:
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all?
I've tried doing them before, but I've found that when I put too much pressure on the idea, it doesn't lead to the same results that I was once looking for. It's better for me to try to do the healthy positive things I want to accomplish all year round.
Testing: Well, sure enough my pack of Wondfro OPK and tests arrived yesterday so this morning I was like I should test out the test and whomp BFN. I didn't feel that shocked, but after I was done in the bathroom DH asked hopefully "when will you be able able to start testing?!?" I told him I tested and it could have been too early. He got SO sad and then I got sad and asked him to stay strong with me through this and to remember that we're still early in trying.
R/R: Feeling run down and REALLY hoping I'm not on the verge of getting sick. Glad it's almost the end of the week!
CS/Q: Not today.
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? I want to practice making things (artistic things) and will try to start before New Years.
@Flinstone good for you with looking into classes! Is your career change very different from what you're currently doing?
R/R: It's weird -- though I don't feel at all optimistic about this cycle, I've been feeling really optimistic about ttc generally the last couple days. I finally got my MRI scheduled for next weekend (it has to be cd5-9 of the cycle) which I hope will be revealing. Last night, DH and I put almost all our plastic tupperware in the recycle bin after I read the BPA chapter of It Starts with the Egg. This morning I ate the last of my pineapple core. I'm doing what I can to move forward which makes me feel a little better even as I'm disappointed it's taking this long.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? I normally don't do New Year's resolutions. I have decided that if I'm still not pregnant by the end of the holidays (after Christmas with my parents probably) I'm going to undertake an anti inflammatory whole foods diet in case that's the problem I'm having getting PG.
@flinstone Good for you! I agree with @Starla that dipping your toes in will show you if it's something you want to do.
@KhRun17 Nice work! I'd feel so frustrated get those fees.
I'm out ladies. At least now I can drink for my birthday next week and two holiday parties (but let's get real, I'd much rather be KU). GL to the rest of you!

@khrun17- One of my resolutions is to be better with money and paying off some debt we incurred after I lost my job. I want to tie my accounts with DH's (we both have separate checking and savings accounts, and one joint account) but.. kind of not really, haha.
@Lmmtravels It's definitely still early! FX for you.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 26/10
Timing: -5, -2, O
Testing: BFN yesterday and today, one more time tomorrow
R/R: I'm tired, and I think I'm out for this month. My temps didn't do anything obvious today that I can at least use to prepare myself mentally- it stayed almost exactly the same. I'm trying to remind myself that my BFP with DS came at 11dpo, and I'm definitely not out until AF shows up. I'm struggling with being positive this week, though. Rave- I'm going to see Wicked in DC in a couple weeks with DH and my closest friend/ her DH! I'm so excited, I've heard so much about how great this show is.
CS/Q: I don't know what my chart is doing. Either waiting for AF or a BFP at this point.
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? I'm not huge on resolutions. I try to use NYs as a time to remind myself of my goals for the year, and revamp some bad habits that probably slipped in since last year. I gave up on the usual weight loss, etc, goals a long time ago.
I am on the same page about fixing my diet for next cycle @adirat
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 28/13
Timing: -5 -3 -2 +1
Testing: BFN this morning.
R/R: AF should make her appearance this afternoon. At least my CD will be easy to remember bc it's the 1st of the month today. I was very grouchy to DH when I returned from my trip and I feel bad about it. My friend's (the one who hates the idea of having kids) birthday party is Saturday (more traveling!) so at least I don't have to tell her I'm not drinking because I'm KU.
CS/Q: FF is predicting a 24 day cycle for me next month, maybe that will change when I actually enter the period date? If it does, hopefully my FW changes too bc right now it's the whole time I'm traveling for work.
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? I like the idea of resolutions but I have never kept them. I usually make a list of things I liked about this year and things I would want to do differently next year.

@BertieMeetsGertie nooo! I'm so sorry! @KhRun17 it would be completely different! I work in television and I'm looking into more stable/traditional careers and am going to see about some potential science based classes that could lead to a number of things like nursing, radiography, dental hygiene, etc. I've peaked at them before, just never thought I could do it. We live in a huge hospital oriented town so I know there's definitely work. A bunch of my friends from home are in those fields and incredibly happy @Lmmtravels it's sooo early! I wish I had the courage to test toady, also 8dpo, but I am scared to test at all at this point! FX your bfp is coming @Starla@JenRuss sorry for the BFN ladies!
@Flinstone that's awesome that you want to go back to school! I can't even imagine attempting that right now.
@Starla I'm going BSC with SS too. Every little thing my body does I'm like oh I must be KU or nope I'm definitely out. I need to relax.

R/R: If you know me, you know I never test. Well this morning I only did because DH and I went in for our first round of fertility blood draws. I figured I'd test in the off chance I'm pregnant, I didn't want to go for no reason. Now i know why I never test - nothing like a stark white negative at 6am.
So I had my blood drawn first and afterward i felt ok so I got up so DH could go. A few seconds later, I passed out. It was awful! Not a great start to the line of testing. It's been quite a morning. On the positive side, YAY for a double digit LP this month!
CS/Q: Nah
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? I don't do New year's resolutions. I like to implement good habit changes during the year; I don't always stick to them, ha... But I don't think there's something magical about new year's that makes a difference for me. I am excited about Dec though!
Timing:-1, +1 ( I wanted to hit both these days and no more than that hoping that I would have a nice concentrated "deposit" with a decent amount of volume because H's supply decreases with increased GDTPT)
Testing: never
R/R: Rave, today is a writing day at work so I get to catch up on work. I have been working a lot of overtime so I have been pretty behind, but it will be nice money for the holidays.
CS/Q:nope, my FP of my chart seemed like my temps were a little too high and then I had a huge drop, so I am not sure what was going on in FP, but I am hoping for high temps in the LP!
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? I generally make resolutions to improve my language... not cut back on swearing, but more so like use the words well/good appropriately. One year I chose who and whom, and I still can't figure it out. Last year it was to stop using "a whole nother" and start saying "another whole". I haven't picked anything yet.
Be back later for comments. I left my phone in the car, so I have to hike back to the parking lot now.

R/R: So frustrated. All my period symptoms have gone away - I haven't cramped this morning for the first time in weeks. Still no period. I looked back on my Ovia app (was just using it to track my periods when not TTC) and for the last year I've spootted/got my period by CD 12. I had lots of creamy CM today. I inspected it to see if there was any sign of brown/blood - nope. Stark white, just like my tests.
CS/Q: Stopped charting after CH
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? The stereotypical NYR - get fit. I've already started back at the gym. My H and I will get back into hot yoga again in January (sidenote: my H is athletic and goes to the gym 6 days a week. I always asked him to go to yoga with me, and he would say "no. I don't consider stretching a work out". Anyways, he has herniated discs and the chiro told him to give it a try - well guess who likes it, and finds it a good work out?!?
@Starla@JenRuss@vegetalienne Sorry about the BFN. I feel ya! @Flinstone I envy you! I would love to go back to school for nursing. Maybe one day. @KhRun17 good for you on the 3 days a week! I've been trying to get into that routine myself. When I'm good, I'm really good. But when I fall off the wagon, it's bad. @BertieMeetsGertie Sorry about CD1.
@flinstone I love taking classes. I take at least one or two
every year. I have to anyways to keep up
my license, but I am actually going back to school too, to get a certification
and become a specialist with neuro-motor kids (cerebral palsy, brain injury,
genetic disorders…)
@KHrun17 I don't get late fees regularly, but if I ever do,
I always call and get them removed!

GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all?
Historically, I never did resolutions but next year I think I need to make some changes in my diet and get back to exercising more consistently. I have gained about 7 (maybe more) lbs since my wedding in May and while this doesn't make me over weight, I don't feel as good about myself. I need to cut my sugar intake and find an exercise routine that I'm comfortable with while TTC.

CS/Q: My temp is still up. It usually starts the drop by 9DPO, but BFN this morning (10DPO) so I'm not getting my hopes up. I had one other month where temp was still high on 10DPO and then it dropped on 11. So I'm preparing myself for that now.

Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years
Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? I don't do them. Although I usually get back on track with my eating and exercise after the holidays because it's just convenient but no official resolutions or anything.
R/R: really trying to hold out until AF is late. I think I can do it, simply because I only have the one digital test, but I'm starting to get antsy! So on another note, my whole torso has this crazy rash on it! I have no idea what it is from. Im not allergic to anything and I haven't changed anything in my house. We thought it was our new bed spread, so we washed that, but it only seems to be getting worse. I also know its not shingles, because I have had them, and this isn't even close! I am e-mailing my Dr today, so hopefully this will go away!

GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? I think in the past I had tried to convince myself that losing weight was a good idea for a resolution, but its never worked. I think that if Im not KU by then, I will be doing an overhaul of my diet and working out to get my body on track for baby.

hope you’re doing better.
Month/Cycle: 8/8
CD/DPO: 30/16
Timing: Good
Testing: Why?
R/R: I’m feeling a little disengaged going into this next cycle.
Every cycle up until now I had a different scheme: try some new vitamins, add
Preseed, use OPKs, HIO every day, HIO every other day…. Now I’m out. I’m out of
new ideas. I discussed this with DH last night and asked if he had anything he
wanted to try. He said “relax” and “keep trying to make it fun”. Sigh… I love
that he has a different perspective than me. If we were both trying to control
this process it would become robotic. However, as we all know, “relax” is the
one word most likely to make us do the opposite.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you
already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or
do them at all?
I have had success with New Years Resolutions in the past,
but if I’m being honest I haven’t thought about it at all yet. I’d love to take
all the pictures, ticket stubs etc I’ve collected over the years and actually
start scrapbooking them.
@swimsister I know what you mean about having a different scheme each cycle. I think I've done the same. It kind of helps me feel like I'm controlling something about this process. For next cycle, I'm actually going to have us try that smep technique. I don't know how much I buy into it. I'm basically just going to use it for the timing aspect since our timing was absolutely pitiful this cycle. I figure it can't hurt and will keep my mind occupied with a plan.
Testing: today, blue dye BFN.. don't know what came over me.. was going to wait a couple more days
R/R: my boss loves me, but my boss' boss has been trying to make my life difficult for the last couple months. She told me I'm out of sick time and will need to take PTO next time I'm out, but my pay stub says I have 4 days left. She infuriates me.
but my temp is still holding steady.. so nothing can get me down (unless my temp drops)
CS/Q:
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? Nope.. and even if I make some resolutions, I probably won't keep them.
@Starla I've heard that morning sickness doesn't start until 6 weeks. Probably just something you ate
@TravelingCouple Oh no! Did they have to call an ambulance or anything? I remember having a procedure done at my doctor's office, it might have been IUD insertion way back when, and they said if I had any feeling of dizziness that I needed to stay lying down because if I fainted they'd have to call an ambulance, it was a law. I hope you didn't fall into anything! And I just saw your update on AF. I'm sorry.
@swimsister I hear you on wanting to switch up the routine, like you need to find out what the one thing is you're doing wrong, or not doing when you should. I keep reminding myself of all the people who get pregnant without trying, who didn't cut out caffeine, or didn't take a prenatal, or eat a pineapple core, or any of the things we've "heard" can help fertility. It helps me not blame myself for it. But let's face it, I do anyway. When I'm not pointing a finger at H's swimmers!

R/R: I took yesterday off work and am sooo glad I did. I got some freelance work done I needed to do, plus relaxation, which was sorely lacking over the Thanksgiving weekend. Rant: Our one dog was acting really lethargic yesterday, just not himself at all, so we panicked all day about what could be wrong. At one point he jumped on our couch to bark at the FedEx guy, then when he jumped off he yelped as his front feet hit the floor, so we started squeezing his front legs/shoulders to find tender areas and sure enough, every time we touched his left armpit he yelped. He also yelped when H gently bumped his butt to get him to get up to take a walk. So he's going to the vet today. Not sure what they can do beyond pain pills, but I'll feel better having someone look at him who has seen puppy pain before.
CS/Q: nope, IUI is straightforward
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? I don't do resolutions. I don't like the deadline-feeling of it. After seeing all the new people in the gym who made a resolution to work out stop coming after a month I decided they lead to nothing but sadness. I'm kind of an Eeyore.

@TravelingCouple sorry for the BFN and rough blood draw today. But yay for longer LP and hopefully getting some answers soon!
@JuneRoseRuby I love your resolution(s) to improve your use of language, terms, vocabulary, etc. What a great idea!
@Ohemgee ugh, stark white BFNs are so rough when your LP is longer than usual. So sorry lady!
@littlebug2010 wow, sorry for the rash! FX it's nothing serious!
@swimsister ugh, yeah, there's only so much "trying to make it fun" that you can do.

GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? Ugh, I'm boring. I had gotten REALLY good with my diet for about a year, but have been slipping the last couple months. So, after the holidays I just want to get back on track. Like @adirat I want to go back to a whole foods diet in case inflammation is hindering our TTC efforts. Testing: I should wait until Sunday. Should being the key word.
R/R: Just honestly ready for closure (either way) on this long long long cycle. I've thought about not temping because it just makes the time seem slower, but I'm obsessed with having the data. I need to write more, but I have started. I don't see any reason to wait for January 1st. I make resolutions year round basically.

Nooooo....I haven't even planned out next week lol. I don't really do New Year's resolutions though, so I am kind of lame.
@eggplantface no they didn't call an ambulance, but I had the entire staff of nurses looking after me since no one else was there..I was sitting on a rolling chair next to DH while he got his blood work and then I just kind of slumped out of the chair on to the floor. I do remember that.. Then I had my head between my legs, then I remember them calling my name and shoving alcohol pads under my nose to wake me up. Such an awful feeling!
@LuND Good luck to you too! I have a feeling I might cave tomorrow, but I hope I can hold out.
@wabash15 Cake day? Does that happen a lot? Our CFO likes to say she only comes around our offices if there's cake.

@TravelingCouple I passed out after donating blood once, on xmas eve, smashing my face on the pedestal under the table, busting my face up, just in time for the holiday. Now, whenever I have to get BW or donate, I am super cautious, drink tons of water, and eat like three bags of cookies! I have super low blood pressure as it is, hence all the heart issues, so I have to be super careful.

@dragonfly87 PM me if you want. I had severe insomnia for 2 years, only since May have I been getting unmedicated sleep consistently since I was 21 @swimsister how long is your usual luteal phase? @wabash15 h15 how small/big of a temp dip do you think signals AF? I looked at your chart it doesn't look like it dropped too much, yet I am not familiar with what it would be. Mine went down slightly today too and I looked at "charts like mine" and saw a few pregnancy charts that had little temp dips .. gave me some hope I guess. @alysapuggles I agree on the using your brain thing! I have to take a math placement test because math HAS to be taken on their campus and I'm going over this sample test like wait what? No calculator? Haha. I told DH even if I don't like it, at least I'll be learning and exercising my brain
@lund I see you're testing Saturday. I want to at 10dpo too, but I am babysitting a 1yo that night and I feel I may super sad going into that if I get a BFN and I want to be cheery and happy with her! Is that nuts?
@Flinstone nope, not nuts at all. The more I think about it, it may be a better idea for me to wait for AF (which should arrive Saturday or Sunday) or test on Sunday instead because I have to be all cheery and helpful at our town's Dickens Festival on Saturday. I see myself being a weepy Scrooge if I get a BFN Saturday morning. More likely, I'll get AF on Saturday anyway and just have to suck it up.

@KhRun17 it would be completely different! I work in television and I'm looking into more stable/traditional careers and am going to see about some potential science based classes that could lead to a number of things like nursing, radiography, dental hygiene, etc. I've peaked at them before, just never thought I could do it. On the positive side, YAY for a double digit LP this month!

R/R: I’m feeling a little disengaged going into this next cycle. Every cycle up until now I had a different scheme: try some new vitamins, add Preseed, use OPKs, HIO every day, HIO every other day…. Now I’m out. I’m out of new ideas. I discussed this with DH last night and asked if he had anything he wanted to try. He said “relax” and “keep trying to make it fun”. Sigh… I love that he has a different perspective than me. If we were both trying to control this process it would become robotic. However, as we all know, “relax” is the one word most likely to make us do the opposite.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all?
I have had success with New Years Resolutions in the past, but if I’m being honest I haven’t thought about it at all yet. I’d love to take all the pictures, ticket stubs etc I’ve collected over the years and actually start scrapbooking them.
Don't follow me ladies.
Quick question, there's also chatter in WTO about dietary changes for fertility. Would people be interested in a thread about this? Now? In January?
Me: 36 DH: 41
but my temp is still holding steady.. so nothing can get me down (unless my temp drops)
GTKY: Now that's it's December, have you already planned your New Years Resolutions? Do you get started on them early or do them at all? Nope.. and even if I make some resolutions, I probably won't keep them.

@LuND Good luck to you too! I have a feeling I might cave tomorrow, but I hope I can hold out.
@wabash15 Cake day? Does that happen a lot? Our CFO likes to say she only comes around our offices if there's cake.
@swimsister I need to get back into scrapbooking too. I have so many pictures and little mementos I saved from our wedding and honeymoon that I still haven't scrapbooked and we've been married for over two years

@swimsister how long is your usual luteal phase?
