R/R: My body decided to observe twat waffle Tuesday on Wednesday this week. My temp was back up this morning and I had been having cramps but no spotting (for me, those two usually go together). Naturally, the BSC set in and I tested.

R/R: I gave DH a dating anniversary present last night and saw his present to himself - a PlayStation 4. He doesn't play his old one or his Wii and we only have one TV, so I wasn't happy. #thanksalotBlackFriday I wasn't expecting anything because he said he only wants to celebrate our wedding anniversary from now on, but now I hope he does something when we go to dinner on Friday since he's working today. He didn't recognize the music box song (ya know, what I walked down the aisle to) but in his defense, he mostly stared up at the ceiling trying not to cry at that time anyway.

CS/Q: Nada. I temp, check CM, and OPKs so I know for sure when I ovulated and luckily this month was easy to tell.

R/R: One strand of our Christmas lights (in the middle of the tree) is being annoying. It usually lights up, but then after like 20 minutes turns off and all the strands on the top half of the tree go out. Aka...we have to take everything off the top and replace that strand. And those wondering yesterday, this is the hat I made for step niece. first time crocheting.

CS/Q: Temp spiked just a little today... I hate when temps make me SS. Whenever it does something like this I look at when I had a BFP.

Testing: I broke down and did it this morning. it was unshockingly negative. My BFP with DS didn't happen until 11 dpo, so I'm not giving up!

R/R: I apparently tried to boil DS with his space heater last night. I always turn it on, keep an eye on how long it runs for, and check the room temp before bed. I did that last night and adjusted it a little warmer bc the room was cool. it didn't even turn on when I adjusted it. DS woke us up screaming at 2am, and his room was unbelievably hot. He's fine, he cooled down quickly (fleece pjs bc his room is the coolest in the house) and then played for two hours. My mom guilt is at about 1000000% right now.

CS/Q: meh. Temp was back up, but hard to tell due to previously mentioned incident.

R/R: Excited for a work event this evening and can't figure out what to wear! DH is joining me and I want to wear cute heel booties, although that could make me taller than him. Anyone else obsess about this?

CS/Q:I really hope I don't start SS, but my boobs have been a bit tingly, I'm super bloated and just felt some cramps. Really hoping pms isn't starting already as I feel like FW just ended. Here's my chart in case anyone wants to stalk. I missed yesterday due to insomnia and woke up pretty warm today, so spike could be room temp related.

I'm agnostic/borderline atheist so I'm a bit ambivalent to holiday season, however, I am visiting my BFF I moved away from on Xmas day so I'm pretty elated about that!!!

Do you use OPKs? I think there's a good chance FF is wrong (a day early). Based on CM I'd give you CD20 (the temp that day is open circle anyway).

R/R: I started reading It Starts with the Egg last night (@RedBreast35 I realize you are in WTO so you may not see this otherwise). I haven't gotten to the recommendations yet, but something in the introduction really struck me -- she writes that the reason you only have a 20% chance of conceiving each cycle is because the majority of eggs and the majority of sperm are faulty. It really has to be "just perfect" to make it happen. I knew the 20% number but I guess I never really thought about it this way before. I can be predicting O properly and we can be getting great timing and it isn't happening because the deck is stacked against humans, not because anything is wrong. So I really could be on cycle 7 and nothing is wrong -- just luck of the draw. I am thinking as I drink my tea this morning that sometimes we just need to read a fact we know framed in a slightly different way to make peace with it. This was it for me.

This probably sounds ridiculous but it really reassured me. Also, I think I'm going to throw out all my plastic tupperware!

R/R: Had an emotional breakdown last night over some friend situation (I mentioned last week the clique-y tendencies of some new friends we have since we're new to town and know NOBODY) we saw the two other couples at the gym when we walked in and before we all left we chatted. Well DH and the boys did and the other two girls. I was boxed out (physically with a back turned AND verbally) while they talked about their upcoming school to earn their associates degrees.. Decided I am sooo done putting myself out there with these two only to feel like sh*t and all DH said was "well we won't go to the gym anymore"... no, not what I was saying!

CS/Q: temps are staying up, that's good. After my emotional moment, I swore I had AF cramps. Combine that with the tears I felt she was coming early. I just want a proper Luteal Phase with my first O cycle!

Kind of indifferent... I like the holidays, but with the warm weather down here it doesn't feel like they're really on their way like it did when I lived in Chicago!

@NYTino24 That is such a guy present to himself! I would be a bit annoyed, especially if you only have one tv. DH tends to go through phases of playing video games, but when he's in one, he's constantly playing. It drives me nuts sometimes.
@Lmmtravels I'm already taller than DH by about 1", without shoes. I've given up on worrying about it, unless the heels would make me significantly taller. Also, at the risk of SSing, my first and only early indication of pregnancy with DS was shooting pains in my boobs. FX for you!
@Flinstone After having dealt with women like that for most of my teens and 20s, I learned to just let it go and find people who will actually be good to you. I know it's hard, especially when you don't know anyone in the area, but find groups with similar interests, etc. I have a hard time putting myself out there, but it is doable!

@adirat thank you for the chart stalk! Sorry it's massive; I posted it from mobile. I admit I'm not good at temping consistently with regard to time (within 30 min window usually and I struggle with insomnia) and am waiting for OPK to arrive with the tests I ordered since temping has been a bit of a struggle. I was wondering if O may have been CD 20. I had pretty awful O cramps on my right side on CD 19 that went completely away on CD 20, so that's why I was sticking with that. I should have noted that in my first post!

@Flinstone I joined a coed sports league for this reason. A lot of women feel threatened when new women are around their group. Guys tend to be welcoming and inviting, and eventually sometimes the women will give you a chance then. Once the girls realized I was a tomboy, they were better. When I started dating DH, I was less of a "threat" and they were nicer. Sad, but true.

Is early ovulation something that your doctor can fix/prevent? I don't know much about what such early ovulation means but obviously it isn't conducive to your IUIs.

R/R: for the last 2 days, from what I THINK is from my prenatal, I’ve had bad stomach cramps/aches/bloating after lunch and after I take my vitamin (i try to always take it with some food). I’ve never had this problem with my prenatal before (Nature’s Bounty Prenatal). Very frustrating. I ended up going home early yesterday from work because I was feeling so yucky.

AFM: Just waiting for the spotting to begin. Also, I'm getting a laser procedure done this morning to patch some degeneration/holes on my retina. First failed IUI/BFN plus lasers burning my eyeballs all in one morning. That's just greeeaaat.

@adirat I threw away all of my plastic tupperware too! I did it after reading Whole Life Fertility Plan but I would love to check out the book you mentioned

@Lmmtravels DH is the same height as me, I don't wear really tall heels because I'm not that graceful but when we go out I do wear 1.5-2.5" heels. It seems like a lot of glamours French celebrity couples are made up of a taller woman and a short little guy, so that's how I like to picture us, ha. My coworker is a shorter guy and he claims only midwesterners are obsessed with the height thing. I think it just matters what makes you feel comfortable!

I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight! Ironically, I won a prize in a raffle at the social event last night--a hotel stay!

@adirat Thank you for being so angry for me. This is the 2nd time I O'd really early - maybe 3rd time but one was back when I hadn't gotten the hang of tracking.

I have a call with the doctor on Monday to discuss what will happen next cycle. I know that they want to re run all my baseline bw to see if that has any answers. I don't know what else he will say or recommend. Maybe he will change my meds or maybe he will recommend we move straight to IVF. I need to do my research and I am going to post on the T-TTC and IF boards to get some suggestions on what I should be asking for. I know its important that I advocate for myself but I don't know what that means yet.

R/R: The SS is making me BSC!!! The only thing that has kept me from poas is that I dont have any cheep ones at home. I have one digital at home, and thats it! In non TTC land, I am feeling super on top of my Christmasing this year! I have a lot of family to buy for and we are going up to my parents house early this year, so I have to get it all done before we go home. The one nice thing is that I LOVE wrapping, so basically when ever something arrives I wrap it, so our tree already looks crazy!

worried about thanksgiving getting in the way, and missing it. I hope you get some comforting answers, and a reassuring new plan

@adirat yes! That part struck me too! Even if she's wrong about the percentages or whatever, it's still crazy to think that we may all be putting so much hope in eggs (or sperm) that would never even have a chance on any given month.
