Hi All! This is baileygomez...for some reason when I updated some of my profile stuff it reverted me back to my old profile name...working on figuring it out.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: CD22/9DPO
Timing: -4 and -1
Testing: December 1
R/R: Been up since 4:30am...which feels awesome, not. So I temped because I was worried I wouldn't fall back asleep, and I didn't.
CS/Q: My temp seems to be rising for the past 3 days, about .2 to .39 degrees higher than my other temps...so not sure if that's a good sign or not.
GTKY: What is your favorite drink (doesn't have to be alcohol!)?
Hot Totties! (fireball whiskey and apple cider)
@swimsister I am sorry for the BFN and for the rough day.
@adirat and @lund nice to see you ladies over here!
@thebookisbetter I agree with @swimsister CD9 is your clear temp shift... I could maybe make an argument for CD15 or very less likely CD 21 with a fall back rise but you have some missing temps... did you by chance change anything like add a thicker comforter or increase the temps in your house around the time FF gave you dotted CH? are you using OPKs? sorry its so confusing...
@swimsister hugs, sorry for the BFN and a hard day. Try to be good to yourself today

@LuND It's a great drink, but one is plenty. My lack of alcohol drinking these days puts more than that out of the realm of good ideas, haha. @wabash15 It's been hard this time around. I'm really glad I had the holidays to distract me for a good chunk of time, but now that I'm back at work.. oi. We can do it! The Pee Pact I was in last month had quite a few BFPs, maybe we can get another round of luck going.

Yeah, I didn't bother taking my temp this weekend because after my BFN at 13DPO I figured for sure I would be seeing AF shortly. She didn't show up, and today's temp was high, and now obviously I am just confused. I can't think of anything changing this month with my sleep-bedding and thermostat haven't changed. I even had what I assumed was O pain on CD10, which seemed to make sense. I do use OPKs, but I hadn't even STARTED using them at CD9, so that was a wash this month. I should be happy if O actually is CD15, because that makes my FW timing this month better, but I hate my charting being so perplexing...it only adds to my BSC. Thank you for your input!
@thebookisbetter I understand why the FF program gave you Cd9 but it is definitely wrong. Since you don't have CM or OPKs in there, do you know if any of the temps in cd10-11 are alcohol temps? Where was your coverline last cycle? FYI, meds that give you dry mouth can affect CM, but it shouldn't be so much that you can't observe anything. FWIW I agree with @swimsister and @wabash15 that CD15 is likelier.
@swimsister Hugs. I'm so sorry. I posted in the bloodwork thread but PLEASE don't hesitate to reach out if you want to talk about bloodwork or next steps. Or just to vent
Testing: Soooo I wasn't going to test until 12/3 but depending on when I ovulated today could be 10 DPO so I caved and tested today...BFN. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Now I feel crappy and I have major cramps which probably means AF is around the corner anyway.
R/R: I still have another day off of work before I got back to the craziness!
CS/Q: nothing
GTKY: What is your favorite drink (doesn't have to be alcohol!)? I love love love cherry diet pepsi. But I also love a good sangria
@BertieMeetsGertie yay for leaving work early! @Flinstone please share your secret for a good nights sleep @FLAshley ugh! Sorry about your morning! DH counts on me to get him up and get us out of the house too. It's sooooo annoying. We commute together so if he is running late that makes me late as well. And I swear it's like he is five, every day I have to ask him before we leave "Do you have your work ID, do you have your phone, do you have your wallet, did you take your medications..." No joke.

Agh, I shouldn't have cropped the chart before the CM line-I have been tracking it. I didn't see any signs of EWCM at all, but I think solely basing it on CM, CD15 is more likely. I didn't temp last month, so no coverline for comparison unfortunately. No booze to speak of anywhere near CD10/11. I guess if AF doesn't show by tomorrow, I will manually shift the CH to CD15. Thanks!
Definitely didn't mean to vomit all of my feels on you guys and then disappear! Work was pretty crazy today -- which helped to take my mind off of things.
thank you for the love and support - you ladies are the best
@adirat and @spiderlover25 yay for O! @swimsister I'm so, so sorry that you're having a tough time right now. all of the creepy hugs to you!
Me: 32 H: 32 Married: October 2009 TTC#1: August 2016
R/R: nothing really. I'm writing while bus commuting and almost fell out of my seat due to a sharp turn. That would have been graceful .
CS/Q: no thanks!
GTKY: What is your favorite drink (doesn't have to be alcoholic). I drink tons of water! A fresh and not too sweet lemonade is always nice. As far as alcohol I love a good peach or strawberry mojito!

Happy Monday! OR as happy as it can be returning to work after a holiday weekend.
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 24/6
Timing: -2
Testing: decided I'll hold out until AF is due next Monday
R/R: this I see my first cycle TTC so im trying to not read into anything (plus timing was less than optimal). I've been burping a lot though (I hardly ever burp) and I don't want to read into anything just 6dpo so I'm telling myself it is most definitely due to overindulging in sweets this past holiday weekend.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What is your favorite drink (doesn't have to be alcohol!)? Frozen hot chocolate (yes you read that right).
Timing: by my guess O, -2, -1, -4 (FF thinks -2, O)
Testing: Saturday.
R/R: My mom came for Thanksgiving, and I think she gave me her cold. I'm feeling completely exhausted today and my throat is starting to hurt a little
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What is your favorite drink (doesn't have to be alcohol!)? I love Arnold Palmers too...but also love Strawberry Margaritas. I love grapefruit juice too!
@nia23, I have a friend whose first symptom was burping. Hope it holds true for you! @lmmtravels, we are O buddies.

@Starla Hugs. It really is hard. Something that has helped me when I get discouraged about not starting earlier is thinking back to how I felt back then and why I waited. I made the right decision for me (and for our marriage) based on the information I had at the time. Sure, if I had different info I might have felt differently, but all we can do is make the right decision at the time with the information we have.
We considered having kids for a long time. We've been together almost 10 years (married for 3.5) and I know we weren't ready before so I'm trying not to second guess the decision to wait. That's good advice, @adirat. I appreciate and love our current lifestyle. I just thought it would be much easier to get pregnant.
I also thought I'd be pregnant at the same time as my SIL and my friend. My friend got pregnant on her first try. They're both due just before Christmas and I don't even see myself getting pregnant before both their babies arrive. Ugh.

@Starla I know exactly how you feel. I want so badly to feel happy for the women in my life who are pregnant or have young babies but it's HARD. I hope to one day have good news to share and be able to tell them about our struggle so they'll look back and realize why I wasn't as supportive as maybe they would have expected, and hopefully they'll understand. That's what I'm hoping for at least!
@hartmich I know what you mean. I made the mistake telling that one friend that we were going to try to conceive soon. That was in the summer. We did one month of NTNP and now we're on cycle 3 of actively trying. They got pregnant first try early summer and every time I see them they ask when their LO is going to have a playmate. I want to say "you know it's not that easy for everyone" but I just bite my tongue.
I know cycle 3 or 4 is still not very long to be TTC so I'm holding out hope. I'm just stressing myself out wondering if I accurately predicted O and if I even O'd at all. Anyway I'll stop feeling sorry for myself now. Thanks again for listening to me vent.

Thanks @lmmtravels. I know it sounds gross, but I ate 1/2 a clove of raw garlic last night and tonight. It makes your breath smell like garlic, but coupled with a zinc cough drop, it usually wards off my cold.

Interesting, @mrsegan13! A similar concoction I make is sautéing garlic for only 1 minute with peas and thyme. Supposed to be high in vitamin C and other stuff I can't remember off hand. I'm sure your raw garlic is more potent in a good way!

CS/Q: I think I had a minor temp drop today because the hotel room I'm staying in is much chiller than my bedroom at home. Also I'm sleeping alone instead of next to my human hot water bottle aka husband.
