How are you feeling? Pregnancy wise-good. I broke out in hives or a heat rash Wednesday so that has been pretty miserable
What's going on this week? I have my weekly appointment today and this is my last week at work
Rants/Raves/Questions? Nothing at the moment
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday food? Food? As in singular?! My mind keeps changing about this. If you asked me a week ago it would of been stuffing but I'm all stuffed out. This week I'd say those cranberry bliss bars from Starbucks.

How big is baby? Pumpkin or a cat, that being said my princess is measuring 2-3 weeks behind.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions Contractions every morning/evening. The *need* for orange juice has came back 10 fold. I just want all the juice.
What's going on this week? Weekly Appointment today.. Oh and I'm having a baby on THURSDAY. So nothing big.
Rants/Raves/Questions I am sure in the coming days/weeks/months/years I will have a million 'is that normal?' questions, but nothing comes to mind right now.
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday food? Desserts and apps are my thing. Pecan pie, green onion roll ups, puppy chow/muddy buddys.

36 weeks - the baby of the group.

A ripe papaya, a chihuahua, or a cabbage patch doll
How are you feeling?
Good! Stones as usual, but the pregnancy is going well. I'm not waddling much, and my hips don't hurt as much as in my first pregnancy. Baby seems to get very crowded at night and things get a little uncomfortable with her little punches then. But overall I'm doing really well.
What's going on this week?
Weekly appointment on Wednesday. I'm going to ask about water birth as a potential option - I just want all options available, and we'll see what I end up doing.
Our close friends just had their baby on Saturday, and we saw them on Sunday. It kind of makes me antsy to have another one soon. Like I'm ready for my baby now

How far along are you? 38wks, 1 week to go!
How big is baby? The size of a ukulele, a pomeranian, a spaghetti squash...
How are you feeling? Feeling alright overall. Lots of contractions, both BH and not, terrible sleep but none of the awful sxs I had with DS (extreme swelling, 20 additional lbs weight gain, carpal tunnel, pre-e/modified bedrest) so I feel like I can't complain
What's going on this week? 38wk appt is on Wed to hammer out final details, then RCS next Tues!

How far along are you? 39 weeks
How big is baby? American shorthair cat!
How are you feeling? I'm definitely waddling now due to intense vaginal pressure. Otherwise, great!
What's going on this week? I had my 39 week appt today and I'm almost 4cm dilated. Doc said that if I don't go before Wednesday he'll have me come in to strip my membranes and meet him at the hospital. He delivered DD too.
Rants/Raves/Questions We're super excited to meet our son this week & im quite pleased I won't have to be induced this time.

What's going on this week? Weekly appointment tomorrow and will be checking my cervix. Hopefully having baby girl by Friday Dec 2nd as that is her due date. I swear I will cry every day she is inside after that day

What's going on this week? Dr. Appointment today. Went from a 2.5 from last Monday to a 3.

When it comes to Thanksgiving... Pumpkin Pie!
Christmas... Ammonia Cookies. It's baking ammonia, but something I grew up on that my Grandma and mom still make. Plain taste great, but also a light royal icing. I also love spritz cookies!! My mom would always make them in the shape of trees and use green food coloring. I could go on with more, but basically... all sweets.

How are you feeling? Over it! I'm getting anxious!
What's going on this week? Weekly appointment on Friday. I'm frustrated my doctor won't schedule a growth scan because she says everything is measuring normal and no concerns. I feel thankful for that but also annoyed because my insurance is excellent, I know it's covered, I haven't seen him since 20 week scan, and I'd like the peace of mind.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Is anyone else being deprived of a growth scan and if so, for what reasons has your doctor given?
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday food? I like the snack foods we always make to celebrate the night before the holiday! We make Chex mix, queso, stuffed jalapeños, cheese balls, etc.

How are you feeling? Still doesn't feel real. I'm somewhere in between excited/nervous/relaxed.
What's going on this week? .today started my leave from work. It's the first time in 7+ years that I'll go more than a week without working. It feels so strange! Two NST's this week as well as an appt with my nurse practitioner as OB is still on vacation.
Rants/Raves/Questions I've had diarrhea for 2 days now. I've heard that's a symptom of your body preparing for labor. Even though I'm only 36 weeks, I'm being induced at 38.5 for GD (controlled by medicine - reason for induction). Also having a weird burning sensation under my bra line on the right side.... Dr Google tells me it could just be a weird manifestation of heartburn (which I have been getting A LOT this week).
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday food? love it all! We didn't have a true thanksgiving this year because our families will be coming here in December instead to see baby. I'm looking forward to the "thanksgiving dinner" my mom is going to cook once baby is here. Green bean casserole and stuffing are two favs! Christmas cookies and champagne for NYE will also be exciting after months of GD diet.

Romaine Lettuce. I had our midwife give me an estimate of baby's size when we saw her late last week- she guessed 6.5 pounds!
How are you feeling?
Pretty good. I've been having some back pain/crampy feelings in the evenings. Sleeping well is not a thing I do anymore.
What's going on this week?
Next appt is on Monday 12/5 at 38 weeks. Today was the official start of my maternity leave- wooohoo! @ashleygorokhovsky it really is strange to leave knowing you'll be gone so long. For me it will be the first time in years that I've been off of work for more than ten days. Now my nesting has kicked in full force! Trying to pace myself and not over do it on any given day.

My good friend just had her baby this morning! She was due on Friday, so she and I had been going through pregnancy together. We got to meet baby tonight! @LinziLoo09 you are right, there really isn't anything like holding an hours hold newborn to make you want to have your own here, too! I'm having major outside baby envy right now. Soon enough I suppose...

Even after Thanksgiving- I'm sticking with stuffing. And maybe also peppermint ice cream. I can't get enough of that right now.
