December Siggy Challenge (please read even if you don't usually participate)

Hi everyone,

I have a few questions:
#1 - Do people want a December Siggy Challenge or is everyone too busy getting ready for baby (or taking care of baby) to care?

#2 - I would assume that if we do a December siggy challenge it will be our last one. With that in mind, is anyone interested in a permanent December 2016 Moms (or BMB) siggy? I'm curious about people's thoughts on this because we do obviously have some babies here who weren't born in December but their moms are a big part of this group, so I'm curious how those moms feel specifically, as I don't want anyone to feel excluded or offended. To be clear, the point of the siggy would be to represent our group, not to say that you had a December baby, but it could also be confusing....

Hm. Maybe put a poll on here? I'm kind of in a neutral party because I mobile Bump 99% of the time and can't even see the siggys. (You should see my face though when I do get on the computer!)

We could do a December siggy and have it be the permanent one since we are after all, December!

What are the permanent ones usually like? It would be cute to have our LOs in their festive holiday gear. (Obviously could cover any Winter holiday). I am just probably saying that because I just got BB's holiday outfit which is red and black and adorable.

As a Dec mom who had a Nov baby I see no problem with this... I mean, you are my people. Just becuse my babies came earlier than the month I was due doesn't change that. I don't normally do the siggy challenge because I bump almost exclusively from mobile but I would be happy to do a permanent thing.

Maybe submissions for ideas? I'm many things - creative isn't one of them but I'd love to see ideas!

Oh and ETA - I'm a hard pass on anything that would be permanent photos of my children in my siggy. I still Feel funny about posting things that will get buried in the threads. Internet safety and all that shiz.

I mostly mobile bump these days. That being said I definitely think this is a good group to have a been a part of this whole time, even though I had a November baby. Proud to be a member of the December bumpies and would love to use a permanent badge if someone came up with one, as long as it didn't involve any of our LOs.

I have a permanent S14 siggy we created- we had a really hard time having sticky babies and some way late term losses so one Mama created ours for us regarding that. I think a small photo of Winter or holidays for our group would be fun. Like @DiFazette said, I don't know if I would want a permanent photo of my LOs though

I like the idea of something winter-y. Like maybe a couple versions of a little snowman? One with a pink hat, one blue, twin snowmen. Then you use the one that represents your baby/babies? Just throwing out ideas I have zero creativity to follow through on. Haha.

I've never liked penguins so I wasn't going to say anything because that penguin family is definitely cute.
But I've never gotten the hype.
TIL YESTERDAY! A zoo trip took me and DS by the penguins and they were doing some morning preening and swimming. They were so cute! I mean, I've seen them so many times and always rolled my eyes. Penguins. Again. But no, this time I got it! Big life turning point for me.

Long story short I vote penguin family. Though I think maybe making the text on the bottom a little darker may be a good thing.

I love the penguin family BUT I also think it would be super cool if we could have graphics that correlate to our actual family size. That's probably asking for too much and taking care of two babies and a 3.5 year old renders me useless to do anything about it.
