My boss is out of the office today so I'm just leaving early without telling anyone to get my makeup done for a black tie event i'm attending tonight.
my other is I bought a dress that shows off as much of these huge pregnancy boobs as possible, maybe that will pull attention away from my already too large bump and increasingly fat arms for only being 17 weeks
I brought a Lean cuisine meal for lunch to try and be healthy, but really I think I'm going to stop at the gas station and get a hot chocolate and donut for lunch instead. I cannot get enough sugar and junk food right now.
Mine is weird. I had an annoying day with my students. Like, I was so pumped about the work they did in writing yesterday that I canceled their test today to continue it and then they were bums and unfocused and naughty all day. It was just obnoxious. So by the time I got my 2nd section, I was ready to be done.
So this kid, who is always getting in trouble with other teachers and is super quirky comes up to my desk and picks up this "talking stick" my principal just gave us all to use. It's beaded and has a feather on it. Kid goes "is this your wand?" I picked it up and slowly circled it around his head a few times and told him I'd cast my spell on him. He asked what the spell was and I told him he'd see later. I heard him telling several kids about it later.
Sometimes you just gotta mess with their heads...right?

@KirstinH88 do you have curbside pick up in your area? Our local grocery just started it, I shop online, drive to the store and park in the assigned spot and they bring everything out and load it in my car. It is the most fantastic thing EVER!!!
I love curbside pickup! I started using it this summer and it was invaluable in the first trimster when pushing a cart around where there are strange smells and cranky people did not sound fun. Also since I can't really browse I don't impulse buy, which saves money. Only downside is I've not been super impressed with the result of letting someone else pick out my produce.
Grocery shopping is one of my favorite things but curbsides pickup saves us at least $40 a week. Apparently I tend to get a lot of stuff we don't really need while wandering around the grocery store.
Here's my confession; I really stepped it up a notch in the laziness factor and not only ordered our Thanksgiving groceries online, but I'm splurging and having them delivered as well! We have a giant storage pod in our driveway right now and the thought of lugging in all the bags from the street after picking them up curbside did not appeal to me. Fortunately I found a coupon for $20 off that covered the delivery fee! Score!
@Dannylion24 I just signed up for SHIPT and are having our grocery's delivered too!
right now i have a 2 week trial, but i'm pretty sure i'm just going to pay the annual fee and start getting them delivered all the time. I hate grocery shopping.
My toddler is an a-hole. I only get a couple of hours a night with him after work and he spent the entire time throwing a tantrum and hitting/biting at me...which he NEVER does. I'm so bummed; I was looking forward to actually getting to play with him this evening.
So that's my confession...sometimes toddlers are just gigantic turds. EVEN YOUR SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE.
@SnarkasaurusRex yes! Mine threw a fit in the grocery store yesterday BC after telling her to stop running with those stupid kid size carts they have she rammed into the back of my leg (on accident but it hurt like hell) and I told her if I had to talk to her about the cart again it was getting put away.. she starts yelling at me in the store and acting like a total brat.. turn around to a friend's wife who happened to be there who says "aren't you glad you're having another one" I wanted to punch her in the throat.
@SnarkasaurusRex AMEN! I have the whole week off and by 8am today I was regretting my choice to keep my threenager home instead of sending her to daycare. I had been excited about a week together but she was so difficult.
Hopefully they both just had a case of the Mondays and will shake it off tomorrow.

@SnarkasaurusRex my DD will be home with me during the day and she will be great! But as soon as DH comes home from work she's all NOOO screaming and hitting him and slapping him and whines and miserable for around an hour before she turns back to normal lol I feel so bad for him every time he comes home. Sometimes we even wave to him out the window and she seems excited that he's home but as soon as he comes in the house it's a totally different story
@Ekzerr is she like that with your husband when they are alone? I ask because we've noticed that ours is much more difficult when then are both of us around. I think it's because she has to share attention because we talk to each other and ignore her more. It's a lot easier to be alone with her.

Also, I plan on doing NOTHING this weekend because my back has been killing me the past two days. DH, prepare for chores.
