Did you or will you have an appointment this week? I have an appointment on Thursday with my GP (here your appointments alternate each time between your GP and midwife)
How did it go / what are you looking forward to? Looking forward to being able to ask questions about pressure/heaviness I've been having in my uterus. The midwife who rang me back from the hotline was NO help. Also need to have my GP sign off that I'm ok to fly because I'm going to Paris next weekend!!
Raves & rants: none that I can think of just feeling pretty chill this week
Did you get an ultrasound? TV or Ab? I likely won't have either. Probably just heart beat Doppler
How far along are you? 23 weeks and 3 days

Do you know the gender(s) yet? Yep! Having a boy!
Have you announced yet? Yep!
When is your next appointment? After Thursday of this week, I'm meeting with the midwives on Wednesday next week. Also for check up. They MIGHT be doing the diabetic check at that appointment too. Not sure.
What are you looking forward to at your next appointment? Nothing in particular, mostly just looking forward to the reminder that everything's fine and to being further along
GTNY: is it snowing where you live? No, it VERY rarely snows here. As in maybe every 3 years we get snow. It rarely gets below freezing here.
Did you or will you have an appointment this week? Yes, this morning.
How did it go / what are you looking forward to? It went well! Everything is on track. Cervix is super long.

Did you get an ultrasound? TV or Ab? BOTH! I was scheduled for a TV only as a cervix check, but was surprised with a quick AB ultrasound first! I got to see both of my boys and they were kicking each other (lol)! I went to the appointment alone because I thought it was going to be TV only, so I feel a little bit guilty. Fortunately, my husband wasn't bummed. He was just happy that the little dudes are looking good!
How far along are you? 22 weeks 5 days

Do you know the gender(s) yet? Boys!
Have you announced yet? Yep! There is no hiding this "bump" now. The lady that works the front desk for my company asked me this past week, "Remind me of your due date?" When I told her March her eyes BUGGED out of her head and she blurted out, "MARCH? I thought you were due in December!!!"
Not cool, but I really do look like I could be full term.
When is your next appointment? December 5th with MFM (likely the last one, if my cervix check is ok) and a second appt with my OB
What are you looking forward to at your next appointment? Next appointment is a growth check and cervix check, so it'll be a longer ultrasound. Hoping for reassurance that their growth is on track.
GTNY: is it snowing where you live? Any day now. We had an easy winter last year in Chicago, so I'm terrified that this winter is going to be extra awful to make up for that.
@npaulie Let me live where you live! If the temperature never dropped below freezing I would be eternally grateful. I hope you get some answers at your appointment on Thursday.

How did it go / what are you looking forward to? It went well- A typical BP, weight, Doppler, answer any questions you may have appointment.
Raves & rants: Rave: Got the go ahead from the hospital that having a birth photographer is ok so I'm thrilled! Rantish: In addition to the "standard" appointment I did my 1 hour glucose test. I really hope I receive good news but I don't think I will. I've taken the 3 hour test in the past not pregnant and failed so I'm trying to be realistic as to what the outcome will be and all the changes I'll need to make.

When is your next appointment? December 16th
What are you looking forward to at your next appointment? I'm having another US done next appointment! I have a low lying placenta so they're going to check it out to see if it moved. I am praying it does because I am terrified of having a C-section. Thank God for modern medicine but *knock on wood* I've never had any sort of surgery in the past so I'm fearful of what I don't know.
GTNY: is it snowing where you live? LOL Yes- Just had 25 inches dumped on us in the past 48 hours. I guess mother nature is making up for the super mild winter we had last year.
