My H is really into guns, so he's constantly playing with an empty handgun while we watch tv. All I can hear in the background is him charging the slide and dry firing it, and he practices aiming too. It's always unloaded but it still gets on my nerves.
Testing: Haven't tested since that last BFN on 11 DPO, but I won't be testing again unless AF is a solid 2 days late
R/R: AF is due today. I wish it would show and we could get going on the next cycle

GTKY: Tell us about one of your DH/SO's quirks (weird rituals, habits, etc.)!
He has an inability to be still. He must be standing, walking, twiddling his thumbs, jiggling his foot- he can't be still. Sometimes I find it endearing, sometimes it makes me want to stab him in the eye.
R/R: Sooo I'm not 100% sure that I ovulated. I got dark OPK 2 days ago and FF is telling me that I O'd yesterday. Based on SHOW cervix and wetness I think it was 2 days ago. I'm dried up but still getting somewhat dark OPKs (not as dark as before) and kind of O pain. I think it might be my cyst though.
CS/Q: Anyone that has a recurring cyst, when do you feel it bothering you?

stressing a little bit about my low Post O temps. I don’t know what that would
mean. Also, I know I’ve been a bad charter so I’m trying to relax about it a
little. Also, does it look like my Mabis might be crapping out? It’s given me 3
almost identical temps in a row at different waking times/ different nights
sleep. I’ve had it over a year.

@JulesDP I agree about the temping! I really think I'm stressing less because I'm not freaking out one way or the other about a single temp. @FLAshley it's something you have to get used to. Hey ladies, I'm stepping back from this thread since I'm out and it's just a big bummer. FX so hard for everyone here. Hope I don't see any of you back in WTO.
Testing: nope, I dont have any tests at home, so if AF is late I have to go get one
R/R: I had told myself that this month and next I was going to chill out with the TTC, and let the holidays be awesome, which is turning out to be super hard! My post O temps are wicked low @swimsister, im in the same boat you are! I think my mabis (only 3 months old!!!) is crapping out on me. I tested with both my mabis and my regular one yesterday and today, the mabis gave me a 97.75 and a 97.4! but my other one was 98.1 both days (it isnt a bbt thermometer). So I might be in the market for a new one after christmas. Im not temping any more this month anyways!
CS/Q: nope, just annoyed with my thermometer.
GTKY: Tell us about one of your DH/SO's quirks (weird rituals, habits, etc.)! My husband is the clean one, so he tends to do a lot more housework. I dont mind if a few things pile up, and I take care of them once a week, but he likes it clean all the time! Hi everyone! This is my first time contributing in this thread after introducing myself on the newbie post last night :-)
Month/Cycle: 2/2

GTKY: Tell us about one of your DH/SO's quirks (weird rituals, habits, etc.)! My husband ALWAYS sneezes 3 times in a row. When he sneezes, I always wait for the 3rd one before saying "bless you"...sometimes there is a brief pause between them, but it's always 3 in a row!
R/R: I think I'm done grocery shopping for Thanksgiving!!
CS/Q:
GTKY: Tell us about one of your DH/SO's quirks (weird rituals, habits, etc.)! DH's new "habit" is telling me it's his FW whenever he wants to HIO. My reaction everytime he does it. Not funny!!!
@kiwi2628 my H can't sit still either. It drives me nuts sometimes, especially since most of my hobbies are low key, relaxing things. I'm sorry for your bfn.
R/R: Rave- the buyer signs and closes today, so our house will officially be sold and that is a huge relief.
WARNING: I am a huge Debbie downer from here on out, so skip ahead of you're not feeling like being brought down to my level.
I cannot stop crying today. On the TTC front, I woke up to dark spotting which is almost assuredly a sign that AF is coming and I'm out. My temps are heading at a steady downward angle as well. Still above coverline, but that's not much solace. I'm sure, because this is how things have been going for me, AF will start today because that puts cd3 on thanksgiving and means that I would have to track down a lab that's actually open for testing on thurs.
On top of that I have the added devastation of the loss of my oldest pet. My 16 year old chinchilla, who has moved with me from school to school and from apartments to houses passed away in my arms last night. Consciously, I realize she was a chinchilla, she was old, and she was sick. That doesn't help, however. I know she was in pain the last couple of months but I'm still going to miss her like crazy. She was a gift from my grandmother, who passed away three years ago and was my living reminder of her love.
I'm just an emotional mess today, and I want to curl up in bed and watch a sad movie. Instead, I'm at work.
CS/Q: nope.
GTKY: Tell us about one of your DH/SO's quirks (weird rituals, habits, etc.)! He has this habit of quickly licking his top lip right before he kisses me. It's adorable and I love it.

Testing: December 3
R/R: I have officially confirmed O for November 19 after a third day of temp rising! I don't know why, but it's super exciting. Especially after dealing with my weird sleep patterns, I am stoked to be figuring out my cycles. If I hadn't temped this first cycle, I would have assumed I had a typical 28 day cycle instead of a 27 day cycle that is looking more likely and been off on O day. So excited to see the cross hairs on my chart and know that we might have a chance this cycle even though timing seemed like it was going to be off! As stressful as it is sometimes, for me, having more information helps with anxiety.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: Tell us about one of your DH/SO's quirks (weird rituals, habits, etc.)!
My husband's feet are always cold. So he has to wear socks no matter the temperature around the house and when he goes to sleep. He will even wear socks with sandals (around the house). I drew the line and said no socks and sandals in public. So he sticks with tennis shoes when we go out
R/R: Just had a busy morning. Went to the doctors to try and get rid of this post nasal drip thing and they just sent me home with antibiotics. Tried that last week at urgent care sooo I don't have high hopes. After that, I went to get my blood work done for a progesterone check. My doctor wrote on my order to go between CD22-24 but everything I read online said 7dpo. So I went today... Not sure if that's what I should've done but that's that.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: Tell us about one of your DH/SO's quirks (weird rituals, habits, etc.)! Something he does that drives me nuts is not closing drawers all the way. They're always still open all the time after he goes in one for something. What the heck?!

R/R: Like I posted yesterday, I am having so many symptoms that seem magnified. I'm definitely guilty and need the SS police to come stop me.
I work tomorrow, but have Thanksgiving and Black Friday off. I'm so excited to see my siblings when they come into town!
I emailed a podcast producer to see if he would be interested in having me on the show and giving my experiences and story. I haven't heard back yet Boo!
CS/Q: Temps still up, I normally get a temp jump 7 dpo regardless of ku status so it must be related to progesterone peaking. - interested in seeing if the temp goes higher tomorrow.
GTKY: Tell us about one of your DH/SO's quirks (weird rituals, habits, etc.)! Let's see.. he blows his nose like an elephant and I don't understand why he can't be more silent about it. Idk how he gets so much sound out like an elephant sound but he does! I always tease him about it.

GTKY: Tell us about one of your DH/SO's quirks (weird rituals, habits, etc.)! DH's new "habit" is telling me it's his FW whenever he wants to HIO. My reaction everytime he does it. Not funny!!!
@britvahok I LOL'ed at your husband's FW.

@antoto I'm so sorry my friend. Hugs and wine forever.
@britvahok That is hilarious! I mean yeah I could see it getting old but that is clever.
@antoto do something special for yourself, you're in our thoughts
@thebookisbetter (I totally agree btw) Welcome!
Rave- the buyer signs and closes today, so our house will officially be sold and that is a huge relief.

He has this habit of quickly licking his top lip right before he kisses me. It's adorable and I love it.
Edit - I accidentally labeled my rave a rant...
GTKY: Tell us about one of your DH/SO's quirks (weird rituals, habits, etc.)! I can't think of anything right now. I'm a little slow this morning.

My husband's feet are always cold. So he has to wear socks no matter the temperature around the house and when he goes to sleep. He will even wear socks with sandals (around the house). I drew the line and said no socks and sandals in public. So he sticks with tennis shoes when we go out

Something he does that drives me nuts is not closing drawers all the way. They're always still open all the time after he goes in one for something. What the heck?!
@zwink1 so sorry for the awful day and the loss of your pet

@thebookisbetter Welcome!
@zwink1 Hugs! I'm so sorry about your sweet chinchilla. I'd love if you'd post a picture of her, if it will help! That spotting sucks too

I work tomorrow, but have Thanksgiving and Black Friday off. I'm so excited to see my siblings when they come into town!
I emailed a podcast producer to see if he would be interested in having me on the show and giving my experiences and story. I haven't heard back yet

Let's see.. he blows his nose like an elephant and I don't understand why he can't be more silent about it. Idk how he gets so much sound out like an elephant sound but he does! I always tease him about it.

GTKY: Tell us about one of your DH/SO's quirks (weird rituals, habits, etc.)! My DH likes to hide candy and snacks...do not ask me why because I don't know haha. He is the youngest of three boys so growing up it was what he did so that his older brothers wouldn't take all of his snacks. Well he is still doing the same thing as a grown man that's almost 30 smh. I can be sitting in bed and he will come in with a honey bun or candy...I'm just like "where did that come from" and he'll just smile. Crazy!

He has an ironclad morning routine, that isn't exactly the most efficient (he has to dry EVERY inch of himself, can't stand to air dry at all), but he has to do it in the same way everyday before work or his day is ruined.
DH also does the elephant sound! I have told him there is a better, quieter way but he says he doesn't know how.

@zwink1 I am so sorry about your chichi. Big hugs today
@zwink1 I am so sorry for your loss. It doesn't matter that its a chinchilla, she was your companion and part of your life for so long. You have every right to grieve her loss. I hope you can find a lab open on thanksgiving for your blood work. Hugs
