This probably sounds weird but my nurse told me to eat regular potato chips and drink lemonade when you can't keep anything down... worth a shot I guess??
@lilbeautysxt The lemonade makes sense to me since smelling or tasting fresh lemons is a pretty common morning sickness home remedy... But potato chips? Ergh!
All I can think of is that with those things you get a dose of fluids, simple carbs, sugar and salt, the basic things you need to recover from dehydration? Still seems strange, I'd sooner have lemonade with saltines or something.
tenfour Yes, 100 times yes. I get full super fast now. I need to eat half as much in each sitting, but seems like twice as often. Like I still eat about the same overall food (at least on good stomach days), but I can't just eat three meals. It's like 2 small meals and 4 snacks lol.

This is actually exactly what I was eating in first trimester when I was nauseous! The plain potato chips were a lifesaver... and I usually did the lemon Gatorade.

The stupid reply thing isn't working but I had a doc a tot for my daughter and she loved it, I'm thinking about getting her the bigger one for Xmas but it's really expensive. I asked her every night if she wanted to get in her snuggle nest and she would get all excited, it was a sleep life saver
This is completely off topic, but I'm sitting at work killing time until I can leave. Does anyone else watch the "I mom so hard" videos on Facebook or Instagram? They are cracking me up on this very slow Friday afternoon.
Feeling so much better than yesterday, I ended up in the ER last night for fluids and IV Zofran, but I was able to eat on the way home. Now I've got to go pick up the kids from my inlaws since the let them spend the night.
I cannot go into the TW posts. I want to go in and support them but it makes my pgal brain go crazy with all the what ifs. I hate myself for not being supportive.
ETA : this probably doesn't go hear but I needed to let it out.

@JonesBaby0624 I have a hard time also, typically I avoid them unless the person is active but they usually bring me a ton of anxiety and sometimes make me cry.
Not sure where this belongs, so I'll throw it in here. Today a friend told me about a site called Lucie's List and it's all kinds of reviews on all kinds of baby products - car seats, strollers, bassinets etc. it seems pretty non-biased and honest. As a FTM it's nice to hear (at least one persons) opinion on what's worth splurging on and what's worth saving on. I'd check it out! STM+s let me know if you find her opinions valid!

Yes. Love this site. It helped a lot when trying to figure out what I needed with DD.

I think it is, maybe the thread can have what they sell and people an ask for a link via PM
Totally random, but I finally bit the bullet and wore maternity tights to work today and I'm oh so comfortable. Also, just in time for Thanksgiving dinner.
