Anyone else in the same boat as us? My now 1 year old (as of this Sunday) has become a horrible sleeper. I'm debating trying the cry it out method as all other methods haven't worked. We've rocked, soothed, massaged, sang, co-slept...you name it. Obviously I don't want to give him a life long scar from crying for hours...but I want to try the Ferber method. 3-5 minute intervals and limited comforting (pats on the back, head rubs, etc). I've also never put him down in his crib awake before...is it too much to start this? Looking for some tips...of course I will be asking his doctor at his one year visit next week but really sleep depraved and want to know if sleep training has worked for other mamas. All other forms of sleeping training tips also welcome!
Re: Let's talk sleep training...

The only difference that people usually disagree with is the picking up part. My husband and decided it was what our daughter needed. Now we didn't turned on the lights or look her in the eyes cause that got her more energized but picking her up comfort her.
