Re: TGIF 11.18
going to al anon today then maybe out to dinner tonight.
Sat our doula comes - not sure what else we'll do. I think it's me and DS while dh works
Sun I got to lunch and fantastic beasts with a friend
Then, final cleaning!
On Saturday DH is responsible for deep cleaning the basement, including cleaning the carpet (he's looking forward to that).
My mom is coming over tomorrow and she and I will work on the upstairs along with some minor food prep.
Sunday DH and I will finish anything else that needs to be done.
So excited to get this all out of the way!! This will be our last planned visitor weekend too. After this, no one until mid-December for my brothers coming to town or the baby arrives...whichever comes first! Next weekend DH and I are finishing the nursery.
Tomorrow... Christmas decorating day! I'll start whenever I get up, and will have my college alums football game on in the afternoon. It shouldn't take me too long, but don't plan on much else. Maybe throw in a load of laundry and start organizing the babies room more. I do not plan on leaving the house.
Sunday,,, whatever laundry I didn't do Saturday and the same for organizing the babies room, washing some more things up that I have gotten. I also need to get my hospital bag somewhat packed, which I have started on. At least getting some stuff in it will help and can go from there. I plan on making a crockpot meal and PB cookies for when DH gets back to town.

Saturday is my last day of work. DH isn't comfortable with me driving an hour each way and being so far away from the hospital. At any rate we've been to L&D twice this week and my dr thinks she'll come before Thanksgiving. I'm not gonna complain about having a few extra days off.
Sunday is football and nesting. Most of my nesting has came in the form of watching Hoarders and being so disgusted I get the urge to clean everything. DH also bought the newest season of GoT. We'll probably start from the beginning and binge this this week.

Since Amazon Prime was having a sale we ended up signing up for it for only $79 and DH bought himself the last thing he is able to buy himself until after Three Kings. And at Walmart his card was declined! Turns out it was just a fluke, it worked at the grocery store 15 minutes later, but boy did that scare and piss us off. His bank has turned off his card for "suspicious activity" before. We also watched Independence Day Resurrection. It was eh.
Today puppy boy goes to the vet for his comprehensive exam. I love his vet office, I told them I was due any day and would it be possible to squeeze him in today and they were so accommodating! My house is going to be so empty...We're also getting Squish's ornament.
Tomorrow seeing Dr Strange again (maybe) and doing a fire (also maybe). Cold front comes in tonight and I can't wait to pull out one of my comfy sweaters!

Sunday I'm cooking Thanksgiving dinner since they'll leave before actual Thanksgiving. I'm so excited for a big home cooked meal
Today we have a breastfeeding class at 1 and are going to try and get the cradle adjustments done so that can be ready when L arrives. I need to do probably 1 more load of laundry and finish organizing the dresser in his room.
Dh has a list of about a million things he needs to accomplish this weekend, we will see what happens. I need to get the house cleaned up and I'm dying to go through the cabinets in our kitchen and get stuff together for my brother since we have duplicates of things and it's just driving me crazy.
Sunday I have to do a 24 hour urine catch so I won't be venturing too far from home. Hopefully we can finish up some of our to do lists and then just cuddle on the couch in front of a fire and relax.
FI and I have made the decision to no longer go into L&D for fluids after being there most of the last two days; the medicine they give me there is the same stuff I take at home and it never works there or at home, plus I never get hydrated enough even with the IV fluids. If going in actually seemed to help then it would be different. We'll definitely go in if anything else changes/to have the baby but as far as getting fluids, we won't be doing that again.
