Me! This weekend my in laws are taking our two boys over night because today is mine and my husbands 11 year wedding anniversary. So we are going out tomorrow to the movies and dinner. It'll be nice because this will be the last time we'll have alone time for awhile with the baby coming soon and all....I'm looking forward to going out and to sleeping in
Well winter arrived aggressively yesterday and now I'm scrambling to adjust to having a wild toddler in the winter. He doesn't play with toys. He is only interested in dismantling and he's between all the sizes of everything so things either don't fit or trip him/fall off.
going to al anon today then maybe out to dinner tonight. Sat our doula comes - not sure what else we'll do. I think it's me and DS while dh works Sun I got to lunch and fantastic beasts with a friend
Last baby shower tomorrow. Helping my mom bake/decorate tonight. Sunday we'll run around making returns/exchanges. I want to have the nursery done this weekend. Do all baby laundry. And pack hospital bags. Oh...and install car seat. Baby filled weekend now so we can relax later.
Tonight we are doing the online registry purchases. Then, final cleaning! On Saturday DH is responsible for deep cleaning the basement, including cleaning the carpet (he's looking forward to that). My mom is coming over tomorrow and she and I will work on the upstairs along with some minor food prep. Sunday DH and I will finish anything else that needs to be done.
So excited to get this all out of the way!! This will be our last planned visitor weekend too. After this, no one until mid-December for my brothers coming to town or the baby arrives...whichever comes first! Next weekend DH and I are finishing the nursery.
I have vacation today, so I have just been chilling at home this morning. We got our first snow of the year overnight, so a great day to stay inside. However, around 4 today, I am going to a big craft fair with my parents (DH is out of town hunting in MT until Sunday) that's in town this weekend. I love going to it every year, and it's all locally (state) made stuff! The only bummer is not being able to sample the wine, ha. I may have my parents stop at Costco on the way home, and we'll probably go for supper.
Tomorrow... Christmas decorating day! I'll start whenever I get up, and will have my college alums football game on in the afternoon. It shouldn't take me too long, but don't plan on much else. Maybe throw in a load of laundry and start organizing the babies room more. I do not plan on leaving the house.
Sunday,,, whatever laundry I didn't do Saturday and the same for organizing the babies room, washing some more things up that I have gotten. I also need to get my hospital bag somewhat packed, which I have started on. At least getting some stuff in it will help and can go from there. I plan on making a crockpot meal and PB cookies for when DH gets back to town.

It's in the 70's today and tomorrow a high of 40 with snow. Doesn't make much a difference to me because tonight my friend is bringing us our car seat and extra base, and our glider combo arrived today so I'm putting it together this weekend! Also on the agenda this weekend, wash/sterilize bottles, pacis, pump stuff and packing hospital bags. The rest of my weekends during this pregnancy will be spent Christmas decorating and working on gifts.
Too much stuff going on for my preference. I want to veg and watch "call the midwife" for two days.
Firehouse field trip today, and making a meal for a friend who just had a baby Tomorrow hosting a camp support for dinner. I don't even know what else... Sunday church and dinner with friends
I waddled around the grocery store with 6 kids today with major pelvic pain and had one of my kids help me steer the cart... and bought a 20lb turkey.
I'm hoping to do nothing but I doubt that will happen. I'm going to make two pies for Thanksgiving and clean at least. Maybe go get nice dinner tonight with DH because who knows when we will be able to go out again after the baby is here.
Me (28), H (30) Together Since 04/21/2009; Married Since 05/29/2013
DH and I are going to a Garth Brooks concert tomorrow night and I'm super excited. It is a Christmas present to each other and our last date night before the baby comes.
Well, DH needs to work on remodeling the guest/kids bathroom that he 'went to fix the toilet ' but actually demolished the whole bathroom. Literally. Hopefully he can get it done before his parents come on Wednesday. I see myself handing him a lot of tools, holding things in place, and taking garbage out. Kid bday party tomorrow, and then a friend's bday for dinner. Sunday, I'll be freaking out about the unfinished bathroom. And cleaning. Good times!
Cheers to the freakin weekend y'all! Today was work all day followed by a very much needed massage. Flashback to yesterday when I was driving to work and was having awful contractions. I got pulled over by a cop who offered zero assistance except to say if I'm in labor I should drive slower, before giving me a ticket.
Saturday is my last day of work. DH isn't comfortable with me driving an hour each way and being so far away from the hospital. At any rate we've been to L&D twice this week and my dr thinks she'll come before Thanksgiving. I'm not gonna complain about having a few extra days off.
Sunday is football and nesting. Most of my nesting has came in the form of watching Hoarders and being so disgusted I get the urge to clean everything. DH also bought the newest season of GoT. We'll probably start from the beginning and binge this this week.

@cayaylonglegs WTF is wrong with that cop??? I've been pulled over while super pregnant, DD in back seat, and another car seat in the back. The cop literally sighed, asked for my license, and told me to drive safely. If you can't get a free pass for being ginormous you pregnant, what is the world coming to?!
@Kate08Young I'm so happy that you were able to do a VBAC, seriously. And have fun snuggling baby this weekend!!!
@kbduke Have a blast at Garth!! I saw him almost 2 years ago (it was around this time in November) when that tour first started, and my sister and I were about 4th row on the floor. We were spoiled on those seats. I saw him again this past Mother's Day with DH and my parents. Same show, but still just as good.

Thank God it's the weekend. Yesterday I managed to follow up with all my contacts, organize all my lists and send everything over to my boss. God forbid I go into labor over the weekend, but at least my boss can't say I didn't give him everything he needs to finish up the cycle. I have no clue what he's going to do without me...
Since Amazon Prime was having a sale we ended up signing up for it for only $79 and DH bought himself the last thing he is able to buy himself until after Three Kings. And at Walmart his card was declined! Turns out it was just a fluke, it worked at the grocery store 15 minutes later, but boy did that scare and piss us off. His bank has turned off his card for "suspicious activity" before. We also watched Independence Day Resurrection. It was eh.
Today puppy boy goes to the vet for his comprehensive exam. I love his vet office, I told them I was due any day and would it be possible to squeeze him in today and they were so accommodating! My house is going to be so empty...We're also getting Squish's ornament.
Tomorrow seeing Dr Strange again (maybe) and doing a fire (also maybe). Cold front comes in tonight and I can't wait to pull out one of my comfy sweaters!

Last night my in-laws arrived, will be here til Tuesday. We went out to dinner at one of my fave restaurants. Today we (and by "we", I mean "everyone except me") will work on projects around the house and later going to another fave place for dinner for someone's going away party. Sunday I'm cooking Thanksgiving dinner since they'll leave before actual Thanksgiving. I'm so excited for a big home cooked meal
Last night Dh and I went and got Udon and came home and watched Arrow until I fell asleep on the couch.
Today we have a breastfeeding class at 1 and are going to try and get the cradle adjustments done so that can be ready when L arrives. I need to do probably 1 more load of laundry and finish organizing the dresser in his room.
Dh has a list of about a million things he needs to accomplish this weekend, we will see what happens. I need to get the house cleaned up and I'm dying to go through the cabinets in our kitchen and get stuff together for my brother since we have duplicates of things and it's just driving me crazy.
Sunday I have to do a 24 hour urine catch so I won't be venturing too far from home. Hopefully we can finish up some of our to do lists and then just cuddle on the couch in front of a fire and relax.

I will be hanging out on the couch all weekend watching the ABC Family Harry Potter weekend and doing my best to stay hydrated.
FI and I have made the decision to no longer go into L&D for fluids after being there most of the last two days; the medicine they give me there is the same stuff I take at home and it never works there or at home, plus I never get hydrated enough even with the IV fluids. If going in actually seemed to help then it would be different. We'll definitely go in if anything else changes/to have the baby but as far as getting fluids, we won't be doing that again.
@ashleaf2018 have they talked to you about moving up your c-section? with the lack of fluids and nutrients it seems like it would be better/safer for you and Rhett to go ahead with it. I'm not a medical professional by any means, but it just seems crazy that they're letting this continue at this point. isn't your c-section scheduled for 12/1 right now?
@ajstevenson Yep, c section scheduled for 12/1. The whole time we were in L&D I was hooked up getting fluids and mostly knocked out from the phenergan but kept waking up to throw up and had really low bp, FI was begging them to just go ahead and get it over with and do the c section and they refused. I was having contractions at the hospital but they still wouldn't do it, said they weren't regular or strong enough. So at this point it's looking like my water will have to break for them to take him any earlier.
Today has been all about chilling on the couch. I had a very busy week at work (my last one in the office!) and I need some down time. DH is running errands. We're going to do a date night tonight, since baby could be here pretty much any time now. I was looking at movies we might go and see and watched the trailer for Loving - cue the tears. We're an interracial couple and just the 2 minute trailer got me right in the feels. So, I think that we should go see the story of the couple who made it possible for us to be together today. Also, I want a yummy dinner.
Had grand plans to get a lot of work done for grad school.. That was hijacked when I received my BRU completion coupon and then was invited to see our friends and their 6 week old for dinner. Got my baby snuggles in!! Now I have to buckle down and work tomorrow
