I'm a little anxious about teething while nursing. With DS, he didn't get his first tooth until 10.5 months and I stopped nursing around 7 months so I didn't have to worry about it. Madelyn has her hands in her mouth constantly and everyone tells me she's teething, but I don't think anything is that close to breaking through yet.
I'm so worried! Savannah is 4 months and shoving everything in her mouth already! My plan is to BF til 1 year (or as long as I can up to 1 year
Someone mentioned somewhere on the board that the bottom teeth actually don't cause BFing problems since their tongue comes forward and covers them during nursing. I have no idea if that's true but I hope for all of you BFing ladies that it is!
We bought a munch mitt from by by baby. Briar loves it!! So nice because she can't "lose" it. We seen the dr yesterday for her 4 month check and he said unfortunely it's gonna be awhile before any pop through. That's her passed out at the airport waiting for our flight home because of course teething started while on vacation but our little trooper did amazing even while not feeling good!

I saw that mit and thought about buying it but then I figured I would need two since he likes to suck on both hands. Lol!

I saw those today and wondered if they were worth it!

Funny enough, I just opened the Hallowen package from my Mom and that was one of the gifts she got Damien.

Isn't it weird how once you notice something for the first time it suddenly starts popping up everywhere?
Can everyone describe their LO's behavior the two days before a tooth came in? That's when I hear is the worst of teething and I'm just wondering if Preston is close. He's has been super cranky, clingy and is on a crib strike. It started so suddenly that I feel he is either sick (but has no fever) or a tooth is close. Especially cause he is chewing his toys much harder then usual.
Sammy's third tooth just poked through. It's on the bottom row which was a little surprising because I thought his top teeth would be next. He had a fussy day on Saturday and I even commented to my mom I wouldn't be surprised if he got a new tooth soon because his behavior was different from his usual laid back baby. It usually doesn't take much to make him happy but on Saturday it seemed nothing did. Then on Sunday he slept a ton. Sure enough yesterday (Thursday) I saw the white tip of a new tooth.

This is Miles too, but I haven't seen any teeth yet. He couldn't even calm down last night for Goodnight Moon, which we read every night right before bed. I gave him my finger while we read to distract him, and I swear I'm going to have a bruise there today. Then overnight he wouldn't sleep more than 90 minutes straight and nursed 3 times between midnight and 6 am. He doesn't have a fever, but his cheeks are bright pink. Ugh, it's exhausting

Ok ibreally think he is teething now, I will be shocked if we don't see a tooth soon. His gums are swell and I see two skinny white spots on the bottom gums. He has been so grumpy the past two days and today was the worst. He wanted to chew so I have him a cold teether, he bite down hard and started screaming and would not stop for like 30 min, even nursing didnt help. He was due for a nap too so we gave him Tylenol and DH is letting him sleep on his chest. if a tooth doesn't pop through then I am at a total loss as to what is going on with this kid.
