@lund I'm glad someone understands! If I start thinking too much, it really can spiral out of control. Also, I think it's great you are able to start testing. I think the objection to people testing early is taking up appointments with REs etc, but if your regular OB is willing to run them, clearly they are not backed up etc.
Oh! I hadn't realized this. Yeah, my regular OB is willing to run them, and, in general, the Bismarck Sanford isn't very busy at all. I think they expanded a lot during the oil boom, and now that things have slowed down, they actually have too much availability and staff.
  • @Sugargirl1019 We match on 2/3 of our food choices! Sorry for all the issues you're having, good for you for continuing to HIO.

I would've said cheeseburgers too because protein!! but decided for something light.

Can't remember) of folic acid is fine, but the Nature Made has only 800. I take it at night, it sometimes gives me heartburn but that could be my diet too. And Costco carries the big bottle for something like $15 so it's a bargain.

This is fasssscinating.  I need to look into this.  Although I have to say I've been really loving preseed but coconut oil is a lot less expensive...  But I'm still a smidge skeptical.  Off to Google Scholar.

I use the same PNVs, since before DS was born.  I also want to throw out there to check your local grocery stores.  I almost always have been able to get them at BOGO free, if you keep an eye out for the sale.  It's usually for all Nature Made vitamins, not just PNVs.  Here, I know I saw it at Giant, I think Target and Wegmans.

If you find some good data backing this up back can you please share. I've been going off my OB's word that coconut oil is TTC friendly but would love some actual proof.

And I'm totally envious of all you people who get tomorrow off! I could use a 3 day weekend too.

    @FLAshley feel better!

@bumpybump I would keep the temp, if anything it would've just been lower than the temp you got from the movement. If it's close to your typical temp time you can always try to temp real quick before you get up

@wabash15  sorry for cd 1! treat yourself today!!

@Dilynne  looks like there is a temp shift, I would see what the next few days of temps do. Ever check cm or use OPKs?

  • @beachbunnyxo123 If they go a little higher than today's, then I get CH. But if it stays around today's temp, then no. I'm just hoping tomorrow goes up. WTO is turning into the freakin' four week wait for me. Do you think daylight savings has messed with your sleep? I know it's only an hour but I feel all over the place.

No wonder this kid is out of control....no consequences at all!  *Rant Over* A rave is today is "Friday" because of the long weekend, and DH, DD and I are going to actually go do something funny tomorrow and I am really looking forward to it.

  • Oh, had a question I forgot to ask!

AF ended last night. This morning, I took bbt like usual and it was 96.69, for the past 3 days, it was between 97.3-97.6. Is it common for bbt to drop after AF? Should I keep the temp or toss it?

My temp definitely continues to drop after AF.  In general you should always keep your temps unless you took it at the wrong time, were super hung over, etc.

R/R: pretty sure I'm ovulating today! My temps dropped this morning and I had a positive opk yesterday, so I think this is it :) I'll know in three days for sure

CS/Q: I think I have erratic temps but my coverline this month is probably going to be 98.2; last month my LP temps were 98.5 and above- I really think this is my ovulation dip, or it's coming tomorrow. We will see! I don't have enough data yet in FF to show a pattern, but whatever, here's my chart

  • @FLAshley Aren't you in canada? I always assumed Starbucks is everywhere! We were at a Riu resort in Mexico last year, and there was a Starbucks!
@antoto Hope everything went well this afternoon! Fingers & toes crossed!!!
@swimsister Sorry to hear about your TTC feelings.  I kinda get it (I haven't been at it as long as you), but it's not anything like I thought it would be.  Forced sex feels like such a chore! I wanted to HIO yesterday, but H was so tired and I got really annoyed and he said "you're taking the fun right out of this".  There's nothing fun about this, but then I think it's because I'm making it that way. TTC is such a mindfuck.
@ChefRamsay Sandwiches are my jam! First place my eyes go to on any menu. Everything is better in sandwich (or wrap) form!!

  • @wabash15. Mm crab legs.  Now I'm craving them.

@LuND unfortunately it's for a bleeding disorder so I still have to have it
  • @antoto: Thanks for the insights!
  • @Dinosaur OMG how could I have forgotten pumpkin pie?!

@LuND and @hartmich I feel ya! I spent my late teens and 20s stressing out that I would get pregnant. I didn't realize how hard it actually is! I flip back and forth between freaking out that it won't happen and stressing that I'll actually have a baby to take care of. I want the baby, don't get me wrong, but I don't know what to expect and it's all very stressful.

@antoto I hope everything went swimmingly today. :)

@eggplantface I think 400 mg of folic acid is all you need. That and vitamin B12. DHA and vitamin D can't hurt either. Most PNVs have a lot of extra stuff that won't hurt but wont really help either. Here are the Health Canada guidelines which should be similar to US: https://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/pubs/nutrition/folate-eng.php. It says you shouldn't exceed 1000 mg of folic acid per day.
