Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Monday 11/7

Re: TWW Monday 11/7

  • @JuneRoseRuby I'm so there with you. I put off testing for the exact same reason, can't face more bfn. Rather have AF shown. Good that your BFF cheered you up though - and even dropped some knowlegde and supplement on you as a bonus .. BFF indeed :)

  • @hartmich your first 3 temps looked promising for O, but those last two don't... mmm I wonder if you will have a big spike tomorrow... do you get fertile CM post O?

  • @wabash15 I do not normally get fertile CM after O. Also, my first two temps are totally unreliable. Even if I discard one (not both), FF keeps the CH for some reason. L

    @ColoradoHiker Sorry you're out and @baileygomez Sorry you're feeling like you're out.

@AngelaPlus3 I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what that's like

    @wabash15 Sorry for the BFN

@CrystalPDX I'm totally with you that the person who cooks shouldn't do the cleanup! However I'm a much neater cook, cleaning up as I go, than DH. It's like a tornado went through the kitchen when he cooks so I dread it. LOL

Mobile bumping is hard! I can't comment on everything but I am reading all the comments and following along.

Also, thanks for all the pity, everyone! I was sure AF was coming today due to the cramping the last 2-3 days. I even put my Diva Cup in (sorry if TMI) and still nothing. I'm going BSC over here!! I'm with some of you other ladies that I just want AF to come already so I can move onto a new cycle.

    Edit: typo

  • @hartmich Wow what a chart! Do you normally get a dip the day of O? If so then @wabash15 's idea of today is a good one. But it's such a huge dip that it just feels like an unreliable temp...

  • @KhRun17 and @JuneRoseRuby - My DH was totally babied by his mom too. She certainly didn't do me any favors! If I have a son (or daughter) I would teach him to clean up after himself and do chores.

  • Excited for everyone in the pee pact tomorrow!
    @ColoradoHiker Sorry for CD1 - treat yourself!
@wabash15 Restrictive schedules are the worst. Fx your coworker comes back soon.
@Sailing_Mama Cycle 1 or not, being out is no fun. Creepy internet hugs.

    Month/Cycle: 3/3 + 1 NTNP

    CD/DPO: 19/4

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, +1

Testing: Nope. The BSC hasn't convinced me yet. Might need to hide the Wondfos toward the end of this week...

R/R: I'm having a total last-weekend-was-awesome hangover. Beautiful weather, a trail race, and a day spent hiking has made this Monday especially dreary. But, we have no obligations after work, so I think sweatpants an a good crocheting session are in order!

CS/Q: My last two temps are hovering right above cover line - I'm assuming that's fine as long as I don't dip below?

GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? A pretty good mix of both. I've never really thought about it too much!

  • @RunRestRepeat Temps below the coverline are not necessarily a bad thing.  However, if you have too many that fall below it, FF will move it down.

  • Thanks, @lulu1180!

@adirat Sure! I'm sure it's fine - I think I'm just paranoid since I'm new to temping. I'll always accept a chart stalk! I wasn't sure how common it was to stay so close to cover line. Sorry if this is huge!

  • @RunRestRepeat Hmm, that is a noticeable dip but nothing to worry about at this point. Tcoyf teaches that if you are consistently having temps at your coverline, it can be a sign of low progesterone, but that would be multiple cycles in a row.

  • @adirat I took it twice because I couldn't believe it. The first was 95.98, second was 96.01. I do not normally get a temp dip on O day. ALSO, I got in bed around 3 am and temped at 4:30 am. If anything I would have expected a HIGHER temp. So again, all my important temps are unreliable. Ugh.

  • @hartmich Did you drink water or anything like that when you got up? If I drink any water before I temp, my temp drops substantially.

  • Thanks, @adirat! I started temping at CD22 last cycle (just to get the hang of it) and all but one of my temps before AF were above 98, so I'm hoping it's just a fluke. Thanks for the input!

  • @adirat Nope, nothing! I'm sure it's a fluke from only being in bed 90 minutes, it was just not what I expected. I also have no idea why FF would put the CH back?!

I just took an OPK and it was like medium dark. So maybe it's still working on it....

@Starla haha no I don't work for them. I did, however, get the recommendation from another Bumpie. I wish I could remember who it was!
I posted about it a few weeks ago! They were also on shark tank and they are out of philly

@adirat and @RunRestRepeat  also am having some Rocky Mountains but staying above CL right now. I posted in WTO last week about what causes those dips and rises early after O (battles of estrogen dropping and progesterone rising) but I wasn't sure if mine should be lasting this long.

  • Just back from dr. Ugh...semen analysis ordered for H... laparoscopy and chromotubation dye test need to be scheduled.  I think my dr is endometriosis happy and always schedules people for the removal surgery so I'm not really sure if I want to do that.  The dye test I feel is important but I'd rather do the two together.  Ugh

I was kind of hoping the dr would find a little egg implanted but no.

Do you feel that a second opinion would be a good idea?
  • @leekat14 Sorry for the test results :( like @LuND mentioned, maybe get a second opinion?

@hartmich I feel you for not wanting to go back to WTO yet. I also don't O until about three weeks in, and am not looking forward to seeing people come and go while I wait haha

@RunRestRepeat Thanks - I feel a bit ashamed to be upset, knowing how much other people go through, but it's still hard not to be disappointed
  • leekat14 : Sorry to hear that, but I second @LuND. If you think your doc is biased toward a certain outcome, might not hurt to get another opinion.
  • Just stopping by to say I'm out. FX for everyone else.
  • I'm sorry I disappeared over the weekend... it was CRAZY and I got so much done.

    Month/Cycle: 2/1

    CD/DPO: CD 50

    Timing: Doesn't matter

    Testing: Not again

R/R: Rant- I'm bummed out that I'm still in TWW, on CD50, with no signs of AF coming. I really just want my next cycle to start so I can feel like my temping matters and so I can use the OPKs I ordered to determine if ovulation is actually occurring. I feel like I'm in a weird place and I don't belong in TWW or WTO. Rave- I painted our master bedroom this weekend all by myself and I bought the rest of our bedroom furniture yesterday. I'm really happy that it's starting to look and feel like home around here! (We moved in March and we've been living in renovation hell since then) ALSO! After much deliberation, I decided to withdraw from the course that was stressing me out. I feel so much better now.

    CS/Q: None right now

GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? MH is my best friend and we have a close group of friends that are mostly all guys (they were all his friends before we met) and I have two close girlfriends. So I guess that would mean more guy friends.

  • @KhRun17 MH is the same way. He hardly ever does anything around the house and it drives me insane. He just comes from a family that doesn't clean.  :s But when he does occasionally take out the trash or do the dishes I make sure I make him feel really good about it. Like positive reinforcement! Getting upset with him doesn't help my cause. Maybe divide up the housework like PPs have suggested.

@LuND  I love your siggy GIF!

@norahbeansmom Ugh - FX that you get onto a new, and more regular cycle soon
  • Month/Cycle: 5/2

    CD/DPO: 19/2

    Timing: -3 and 0

Testing: Not until 11/16 at the earliest

R/R: Our 12 month old has pink eye. Every time he touches something, I want to spray it with lysol but won't because, chemicals... And thats a lot of ground to cover.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? Mainly girl friends. My field (social work) is saturated with women so it's what I'm surrounded by. But my best friend is a guy, who just moved out of state. Wah.
  • @floyd1rl You can use white vinegar, diluted 50:50 with water - it's a great disinfectant, and you don't have to worry about chemicals, especially around your LO
  • @dinosaur and @starla Aww so sorry ladies :(

@leekat14 I second the suggestion for a second opinion if you don't want to move straight to surgery. Also, make sure you get an HSG before any endometriosis surgery. My doctor told me an HSG is recommended before surgery because then if you do have some sort of tubal issue, they can resolve both things at once. Eliminates the need to go under the knife twice. And make sure your husband does an SA before you do anything invasive, too. I'm so sorry for your news, though -- endometriosis really is the worst.

@LadyMillil Oh, I didn't realize that. That seems so odd to me for people who have gynecological diagnoses to have to go see a PCP for a pap. Seems like a continuity of care concern. I'll cross my fingers you find someone good...

@RunRestRepeat FWIW, I think your cover line is kind of high. Since you haven't been temping long, you can't be sure if it's "normal" for you or not.
@hartmich I guess tomorrow will give you a clearer picture?!
@floyd1rl I had a kid go home with a really bloodshot eye today. Fx it's not pink eye! Hope your daughter gets well soon.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

@luND and @baileygomez @Sailing_Mama  feeling like getting a second opinion is going to mean waiting another 3 months for an appointment....ugh
