Hi @jenny0228 ! I've been using the MYZONE heart rate monitor for the last 2.5 years. It blue tooth's with my iPhone. Prior to using MYZONE I was a big POLAR HRM girl!! I love tracking my workouts
@triwellnessgirl that workout sounds so intense! awesome job! hope the back pain eases up! @jenny0228 great job!!! hope you're able to get your weekend runs in & free yourself from the sugar siege! @kjd291 ditto on the congrats for winning the chocolate battle lol we still have so much leftover candy - luckily DH has been eating the chocolate for me but I'm about to donate all that's left to our workplaces to get it out of the house haha ...so glad you're starting to feel better!!! @npaulie you're doing awesome, hope you enjoy your yoga today! And congrats on your great AS & healthy baby boy!!! yayy team blue!!
I feel like such a slacker this week! I only did my one run on Tues- been a crazy busy week ugh...only gonna get one more workout in tomorrow morning, I wish I had time to squeeze one in before work today but I should've set my alarm earlier unfortunately ohhh well...I'll focus more on healthy eating this weekend!
@serenity13 yay for making other people eat the chocolate for you --and don't be too tough on yourself. Two workouts is lots better than nothing!! And you did get a real kick butt run in on Tuesday! Hope your work day goes well.
DH was called in for an event. So my morning is suddenly free... I'm thinking a workout is in order! Normally I let myself just chill on the weekends because hubby is around, but since he's not and it doesn't feel any different than a normal weekday: my habit/routine is kicking in and I want to press play during naptime! Gonna take advantage of the motivation while it sticks around Happy Weekend everyone!
Just got home from prenatal yoga, and it was awesome!! I'll admit, it wasn't really much of a workout; HOWEVER, there were so many great tips for labor, moves for certain aches/pains issues you might be having, plus a little yoga thrown in. I feel so much looser and relaxed and open. It almost felt like a pregnancy Physio class, haha.
To my STMs.... is it normal to stop feeling the baby? The baby had been so active and now for the last 2 days or so I haven't felt anything It's beginning to worry me. I haven't had any bleeding or abnormal cramping. Just the back pain (which I believe was from heavy kettlebells on Monday) Thoughts?? Thank you!
@triwellnessgirl Totally normal in second tri!! That's why docs don't recommend tracking any kind of movement until third trimester when baby is big enough you can feel movement no matter how they are positioned. I bet your little one has just turned a certain way that the movements aren't as pronounced to you! Don't worry!!
@triwellnessgirl FTM, but this past week at my appt I asked my dr about baby movement & she mentioned it's normal to feel some in 2nd tri but also normal to have it seem like it stop for a little bit too, she said it more like a warning not to worry in case it happens during 2nd tri... similar to what @kjd291 said, baby probably is just positioned a little different now.
I found out at that appt also that I do have an anterior placenta, so I likely won't feel anything to begin with for a while yet.
@triwellnessgirl I spent most of the day yesterday a nervous mess because I hadn't felt my little guy at all, and he had been so wiggly for a few days before that. I finally felt something this morning, but strangely felt nothing for the 2 days before.
I hope he gives you a good kick to reassure you soon - but as @kjd291 said, I did also hear from my doctor that it can be normal, so try not to worry! All your appointments have been so positive, just keep that in mind, I'm sure your little nugget is healthy and doing great in there!
Thanks so much @kjd291 , @serenity13 , & @jenny0228 !!!!!!!!!!' Your words were very comforting. ❤️❤️❤️ So good news, I've been feeling the baby again since last night. That little stinker was hiding from Momma, LOL. ❤️❤️❤️
