Re: TGIF!!! Weekend plans??
DH works this weekend so just me and the pup. Saturday is laundry day at my parents. My mom and I are going to look into the possibility of getting my dryer fixed so I can do laundry at home after Squish arrives. Sunday I need to work on Squish's birth announcement. Seriously, I have 5 weeks left, plus a commission I promised to get done before Squish arrived. That one will only take 6-8 hours, so no big deal. I just need to print the pattern out and my printer is out of ink. And one day this weekend I'm taking DH to MinuteClinic so he can get his Tdap shot! Talking to the pediatrician yesterday convinced him he needed to do it

My mom is coming to babysit tomorrow morning, so I'm going to attempt the gym. We'll see how that goes.
Sunday DH and I are telling ourselves that we're going to start fixing the nursery. This is like the 5th day we've committed to it though, and it's still in disarray. Hopefully progress is made...

Sunday my sister in law is throwing a small shower for me. It's at my house though so I'll have to clean up Saturday night. After the shower, we may go out and do the big shopping trip to get the rest of the stuff.
Also returning/exchanging some stuff from the baby shower and planning for Black Friday shopping (online)
We shall see.
That being said, I'm hoping to have a nice dinner in with DH tonight. Then I'll spend all weekend having QT with DS and continuing to prep the house to sell. DH has done a great job this week, there are a few things I'd rather sort through/prep myself and then hopefully we'll get the house on the market in the next week or so!
Tomorrow afternoon is our shower! I'm kind of excited but nervous to be the center of attention.
Sunday we'll go to church, and then in the evening we have another meeting at church.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Tomorrow night we are going out with my Dad and Step Mom for my brothers birthday.
Fil finished the crib so I'll finally get to see it this weekend!
Tomorrow - college alum (NDSU) football game. Afterwards, going for supper with my aunt and uncle who will be in town, as it's parent weekend for the marching band kids and my cousin is a freshman at my college alum. So, that will be fun to see them. I was iffy on going to the game and giving our 2 seats to them since DH is gone, but they got their own tickets and now I am going.
Sunday - Laundry, some cleaning and making a crock pot meal for myself for the week. I also plan on washing up some of the baby clothes and towels and get them put away.

Dr. Google tells me that I'm now 2-4 weeks out if he's dropped, which seems reasonable - my due date is in 3.5 weeks. But man, the panic has started to set in. I wanted to get a lot more done today than I did and DH has to work all weekend. I'm hoping tomorrow we can find a dresser so I can go ahead and get all the clothes washed and put away.

DH cleaned/organized the garage, the floors, the bathrooms, etc. yesterday while I was being useless. I swear he's nesting way more than me. I KNOW it's not my fault I'm pretty much a waste right now because I'm growing a baby, but it's hard not to get mad at myself.
I woke earlier than usual this morning thanks to DLST - mornings are typically the best time for me energy and discomfort wise - and decided that I would make us some quiche for brunch type food. DH was already up dealing with a work issue (he's on call every other weekend). He said he woke up with a bad headache so I put him back to bed. Now the quiche is cooking and I'm bumping.
I wanted to get back out today and do some window shopping/loafering about, but I'm keeping him in if he still has a headache when he gets up. I think something outside or the changing weather is bothering him. He isn't a baby with the man-flu type person at all, rather it's hard for me to get him to admit he's not feeling good regardless of his condition. He's been hacking coughing for over a week and keeps getting sinus headaches. I just want my hubby to feel better.
Also as I was walking by a lady commented to her friend that I looked like I was about to have this baby right there in the stands. I commented that i might lol
My foot hurts, but I'm more upset about the fact that I had a lot of things on my to do list today - laundry, cleaning out some drawers in the bedroom to make room for baby stuff, finishing packing hospital bags...and now I'm stuck on the couch. DH can finish the laundry when he gets home and can grab most of the stuff for the bags, but he's also on call this weekend so if clients submit any requests he has to tend to that. I'm also going to miss yoga, which my body really needs right now. Not what I needed today.
Friday we went to an annual craft fair that's huge and has speciality items you don't see at any other time of year, so we got handmade Christmas soaps, candles, homemade hot chocolate, and other goodies. We took a lot of breaks but besides a little pelvic pain I felt good. The lady we bought our candles from was so sweet. She told me I just have a glow about me and I look so beautiful. I really needed to hear that from a stranger, especially at this stage of the pregnancy.
Saturday we ordered some personalized knit stockings for the whole family! We picked up some stocking holders, gift bows, etc. and a little Christmas outfit for Ashton. I'm glad we've been starting early because the stores are already crowded. I have to take a lot of rest breaks!
Today we're resting and putting our decorations up. We will put up the tree on our anniversary ( December 1st) as tradition. I normally don't decorate the rest of the house until after Thanksgiving, but I don't think I'll be able to in December... and at this point I'm anticipating Ash any day if my BP doesn't calm its tits. Better safe than sorry!

So today we are recovering from the shower and starting thank you notes. We didn't get many clothes but the ones we did get that are the newborn size thankfully have tags on them so we are going to size them up at the store today. Only because we have so many newborn and 0-3 month clothes that I can't see him wearing all of them.
