Hi ladies!!!!
It's a new month which means a new opportunity to get your rainbow baby.

Let's rant/rave about ovulation and obsess over OPKs and charting! FX for baby dancing at the right time! Good luck to everyone!

Re: ****** November WTO ******
I should be Oing anytime now. I got an open circle this morning on my FR ovulation thingy and I was really surprised because I'm already CD12. I have used the holder longer than your supposed to do that might be why. I have all of the songs of ovulating soon. Had my HSG yesterday and it went pretty smooth. Found out my tubes are clear but I have a tilted and retroverted uterus. Any other tilted twinsies out there? Lol
I'm CD 4 today and I'm pretty regular. I usually get + OPKs on CD14 and CD15. So, 10 more days

@MooFish2364 Glad the HSG went smoothly for you!
@endo_mom Sorry for the heavy AF - that is the worst!
@Mack2342 Yay for solid smiley!
@SierraFoxtrot Hopefully O is soon and that everything lines up! My cycles were irregular for awhile after my MC and only some 6 months later have started to regulate.

@laeberge3 Keep the smileys coming! Hoping for a solid smiley soon and GL with BD. I usually let DH know a few days in advance so he is mentally prepared and ready to take the challenge
@a2003tiger Sorry for your loss, things usually take a few weeks to regulate, but some people do get pregnant immediately after MC. I hope your cycle goes back to normal soon.

Officially got my referral to an RE today for my thyroid/prolactin issues. I'm happy and nervous all the same but want to get everything (hopefully) worked out.
I also was told I neeeded to work on losing weight. It's something I've known to be true forever, but actually hearing it from a medical professional feels different. Maybe it's time to throw out all that leftover Halloween candy, ha!

@JustBored10 I'm just 3 days ahead of you cycle-wise. My cycle has also been heavier than normal. I cannot wait to it to be over. Let the countdown begin!
@laeberge3 I'm happy you got the referral to the RE and I'm hoping you get some answers soon. Are you waiting for RE results or will to TTC this cycle? In any scenario, GL

Saw yet another pregnancy announcement on Facebook today. Ugh. I didn't want to be so bothered by these but it's starting to get to me. Maybe a break is in order.
Mini-rant: my SIL is pregnant and due in May. That news was hard enough as she actually had a CP right before I had my MC and I can't help but think she "won" sometimes. Anyway, they've asked my H and I to be godparents, which of course we're excited to do. When BIL asked H, he also asked what he thought it meant to be a godparent. H, ever the jokester, said "it means buy the kid presents." Apparently that joke wasn't taken well and they're thinking about "rescinding" their desire for us to be godparents. We are already godparents over my nephew. We understand what it means, but I'm wondering if we don't meet their criteria because we aren't regular church-goers. Essentially though, I told H that I wasn't interested in auditioning for the role - either they want us or not. It's difficult enough dealing with her pregnancy without being shamed.
Whew that ended up long, but just had to get it out!

@MooFish2364 Glad your HSG went well. I admit I don't actually know what that is, but get that it can tell you whether your tubes are clear, which is obviously good info to know. I also have a tiled uterus - but only know because I've had lumbar spine MRIs for herniated discs and it was just sort of an FYI note on one of the reports.
@SierraFoxtrot GL with the timing! DH travels a bit for work and this and that, and it stresses me out (but I'm kind of stressy anyway). I was really grateful that he was there the weekend of the loss.
@laeberge3 @endo_mom @sierrafoxtrot I actually installed FF on DH's phone so he can be aware of relevant dates (and has no excuse for not knowing!). Maybe a little neurotic, but he did ask about my period before it cane based on FF's potential dates on the calendar.
@laeberge3 Yay for RE referral, that's annoying about the god parenting, and sorry about fb announcements.
@szwill86 I also still just use the Wondfos. I bought the 100-pack from Amazon in July (thinking this could take a whole just because it does and we are old) - "worked" the first cycle I temped and used them, and appears to have been consistent with my temps immediately after my loss last month (I also had a progression of many lined up in the bathroom - started 10 days AL and kept checking after + just in case I'd have another surge or something), so I'll probably continue with them. The most stressful part for me is trying to mess with them at work for that midday time frame.
Fortunately I'm not big on social media and DH does even have a Facebook account. But because we are older, it's more of people posting stuff about their 10 year olds. I've been getting baby and kid posts for the last decade - which is probably part of the reason I've never spent much time on there.
I appreciate the optimism @endo_mom, as this first AF after loss hit me a little harder than I thought it might. Even though we were supposed to be waiting a cycle, I will own that we were sort of trying, and IF I actually ovulated as I seem to have tricked FF into thinking (with opks, temps, a little less reliable CM), then our timing really should have been pretty good - which just leaves me to believe I have crappy eggs and that the one that "took" though only temporarily may have been our one in xxx chance.
Anyhow, I'm just a couple of days behind @endo_mom on CD4 today. This first AF has been freakishly normal, but I was "lucky" enough to miscarry naturally and completely. I am sorry for the heavy AF @endo_mom.
Fx for everyone this month!

As for me, I'm likely going to be lurking this thread hardcore for the next week. H and I are hoping to TTC again once CD1 shows up next week. I'm just going to be impatient and and hang out here early, if you all don't mind
just counting down the days to O this cycle and hoping for a BFP!!
If nothing else, this process will teach me acceptance and letting go... Although I'm about halfway through_It Starts with the Egg..._ - I wish my gyn (didn't even have an OB till I was KU) had told me to read that and TCOYF immediately upon hearing that we'd ttc after the wedding. So maybe at least more about balance

@artemis618; just wanted to give a few words of encouragement since you mentioned being "old" in your post and your age. I was 40 when I got pregnant with my son and it happened after 3rd month trying. As soon as I could try for 2nd baby, we started trying again and again got pregnant on the 3rd try. However that resulted in MC in august. So I think it's promising that you got pregnant quickly and hope that this time around it sticks for you. I know we don't have time on our side and it's stressful. Im now 41 and will be 42 if I get KU this cycle. My doctor said MC didn't increase my chances of having one next time. Keep positive thoughts
Well, as noted before, I wish I'd known earlier that I'm surrounded by POISON. We're moving next month so as we set up our new household we'll switch to simple green for cleaning most things. Fortunately I don't use perfume or nail polish or hair styling products (yay for indolence!) or air freshener, but bad stuff apparently hides in so many other things. Plus it's made me more paranoid - at the gym this AM, I was doing some mat exercises in the yoga studio after spin class - a woman started mopping the area all around me and it just made me wonder whether there were chemicals in the cleaning solution they use, or in the laundry detergent for the towels, and of course what's in those Kiehls bath products I use there five days a week...*sigh*. I know we have immune systems, but it seems reasonable that all of the bad stuff added up could have some effect on our systems.

@laeberge3 SIL sounds a bit pushy... It's crazy how some people are totally over-the-top about the godparents thing. I feel like as long as you chose someone who loves you and your children then it's a win-win situation.

@weareturtles I hope you feel like BDing during this busy time and that everything goes well with the Masters exam.
@SierraFoxtrot I got KU before with BDing only twice, so you should be ok. FX for right timing.
@RiverSong15 and @artemis618 I dowloaded the ISWTE yesterday and read the first 2 chapters. So now, I also want to live in a glass bubble.
Update: CD7 here and AF refuses to go. Very light today, but still driving me crazy. Hope you all have a nice weekend!

@endo_mom Sorry that AF is wearing out her welcome. First cycles after loss can be so weird.
@RiverSong15 @artemis618 @endo_mom My copy of ISWTE arrived yesterday and I read/skimmed through some of the early chapters. Now everywhere I look I see all the things I need to remove. I told H we need to throw away all the plastic tupperware and the shower curtain liner. Now off to research green cleaning products and makeup.
I'm on day 4 of the darn blinking smiley - precisely what I hoped would not happen. Poor H will just need to keep HIO and I'll hope for the solid smiley & temp spike.

There is information on TB about products that are chemical free. I read about an organic shampoo and conditioner and ordered it from Ulta. It arrived today. I also read about a safe perfume, hair color, and mascara. I will see if I can find the location. I believe it was somewhere under the pregnant or TTC section. Also, I have been using Shea Moisture body wash and body oil for a few years; they are all natural products that work very well and they are gluten free too.
