Re: Third Tri- Weekly Check In 10/31

  • Thank you ladies ! I went to the Dr appointment today and there is no progress with cervix, or baby moving down. But everything looks normal and healthy, baby has a strong HB and my vitals look good so it is the important thing I guess. He said that he is pretty sure that he is going to see me next week as well :) Even though I would love to hold my baby as soon as possible at this point, I have to wait until our little girl decides to come out . He said he would wait 1.5 weeks after due date before induction.
  • ZoeFer - glad baby is doing well. Hopefully she will come on her own sooner before having to wait for induction!

  • @erica0901 sorry about your grandma, wishing her a speedy recovery so she can come meet your LO! Good to hear you're doing well also.

@ZoeFer glad all's going well. Your baby will be here in no time!

@Griffin5413 did they automatically do a 3D u/s or did you ask for one? I haven't been offered one yet and I'm starting to feel a bit cheated.

  • Tulips29 - I think b/c my OB sends me out to the perinatal office for my u/s the tech just always looks while she is doing the regular. It's all part of the same machine so she just switches the button.

  • Thank you @tulips29 and @Griffin5413. In my 20 week and 35 weeks ultrasounds in my OB clinic, the technician switched the transducer and took a 3D (or they call it 4D) image very quickly. I think when you go to those imaging facilities and have a elective scanning then they take their time to get a better image. I would ask to the technician while you are having your next scan, if they do one.
  • @erica0901 I'm glad you are feeling better now! I hope that your grandma is doing better too!

  • Yea I'll definitely ask next time about the 3D/4D option. My OB also sends me to a different place for ultrasounds and my next one will be at 32 weeks. If it's as easy as a switch of a button, I hope they can do it!

  • My doctor told me I don't get any more ultrasounds. My anatomy scan was my last one unless I end up being late or the baby is breached or something. I'm jealous you guys get these extra ultrasounds. I want to see my baby so badly!!
  • Thank you ladies.
Ive been a bit out of it as due to the blood loss I needed extra iron through IV, and I had a bad reaction to that so ended with a blood transfer.
I tried to read up on all the new messages on here, but time seems none existent!
Welcme to the new ones on the third trim, hope the ones with questions got their answers, good luck to those with glucose tests and lets do this @zoefer!

March 2016: FET Cycle- 2 embryos transferred!: BFP !
  • Congrats @tvh1982! Pia is adorable!
  • Thank you ladies.
We are doing much better now. I'm able to walk up and down the stairs without being out of breath.
I actually have had dinner at the dining table, but am still enjoying breakfast and lunch in bed (oh how I'll miss my maternity care on Thursday)
Pia is doing wonderful, I had a trouble night as she hardly was awake and I knew she hadn't had enough food.
So now I'll bottle feed her breastmilk and bought milk and hope my milk production will start. Probably due to blood loss it's a bit 'off'.
    Being a mummy is wonderful!

No signs yet hey @zoefer. That must be so frustrating. Hope you don't have to wait too long.
