Upcoming appointments this week? Just had my anatomy scan yesterday. took 2 hours to get both our guys, and I have to go back cause baby B wasn't cooperating enough to let them see his whole heart
Any new symptoms or changes? pelvic pressure, ugh.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I just wanted to say that I really hope that @MrsNap_515 comes back really soon and tells us everything is okay with her two babies. Her last post mentioned some spotting and a trip to L&D and she hasn't been back. she went from being quite a regular poster... to nothing. If we can all take a moment and send a positive thought/vibe/prayer her way I think it would be nice

One of my PGAL ladies left our BMB a few months ago (she told us she was taking a bump break) and I don't think she is ever coming back but I do think of her often and hope all is well too! Hope Baby B cooperates better for you at your next scan!

Upcoming appointments this week? No, not until next week
Any new symptoms or changes? Hands less swollen this week, usual aches and pains/RLP- sometimes I feel like my stomach couldn't possibly stretch anymore (obviously it will), hungry!
Also in the name of navel science @dubcompanion, I really think my belly button is more shallow this week- I am so curious if/when it will finally be flat or pop!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just checked my thyroid yesterday (I have hypo so I get it checked every 4-6 weeks during pregnancy) and my levels went down since last time so I don't have to increase my dose again! I have already went up from 50 mcg/day pre-pregnancy to my now dose of 88 mcg/day. We will continue to check levels throughout the pregnancy but for now my levels are in check- even lower than they were before I got pregnant!

I feel like I want to know the future but then other times I feel like its better not knowing. Working in healthcare and seeing people get sick/die quite frequently- it kind of freaks me out and I wonder how long will I have to live, when will my parents/DH die or what will happen to them? I know its better that I not know and I just try to live every day likes its my last day....sorry for being so morbid!!

Any new symptoms or changes? swollen hands and feet, heartburn, finally some pressure off my bladder as of yesterday I think baby liked it as a punching bag for a while
Rants/Raves/Questions? just can't wait til Fridays AS. still figuring out what to put on my registry since I want to keep it very minimalist with this baby. definitely lost the it comes to strollers and car seats! anyone got any good suggestions especially for car seats that they love?

How big is baby? A grapefruit (TB, which seems strange since last week I was a coconut?)/ A barbie fashion doll (Ovia)
Upcoming appointments this week? Nothing until my GD test next week.
Any new symptoms or changes? Still throwing up, more hungry than before though and having some strange headaches (which could be due to the fact that this is our busy season at work).
Rants/Raves/Questions? DD loved Halloween yesterday. She just turned 3 so it was the first year that we've gone trick or treating and she's really "gotten" it. The whole experience was super cute, we had great weather and just generally made some great memories.
GTKY: If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know? I'd just like to see about 20 years from now that my kids are doing well and I'm still around to see them growing. Pregnancy (and parenting in general) seems to bring out the fact that I'm terrified of something happening to one of my kids and not being able to prevent it, or something happening to me and not being able to see them grow up.

Any new symptoms or changes? Increased heartburn/acid reflux but that's about it.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I've been feeling more and more kicks!! I'm amazed every time. It usually happens when I lay down at night but I've felt some movement off and on while sitting at my desk.
GTKY: If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know? This is a tough question. I'd want to know if my husband and I raised our kids right and if they would be successful in life.

Upcoming appointments this week? Tomorrow! Finally! I had a 5 week stretch between appointments because the doc was out of town last week. Anxious to hear LO heartbeat again.

GTKY: If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know? I would like to see myself in about 40 years. I sometimes struggle imagining myself as a grandma so I would love to see what that looks like.

Upcoming appointments this week? 2 - tomorrow is my monthly appt at my regular obgyn & Thurs morning is my AS - yayyy! So excited for it and to have DH come too.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I found a tub of artichoke asiago dip in my fridge this morning (DH must have bought it over the weekend and whether intentional or not it was kinda hidden behind a bunch of other stuff) so immediately I had to have some and it is SO GOOD. Then I thought "is asiago one of the cheeses on the "not to eat while pregnant" list?" and googled it -thankfully it's perfectly fine, so baby & I can indulge guilt-free!
GTKY: If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know? gosh, I agree this is a tough one and I'm on the fence about wanting to know EVERYTHING and then at the same time feel like it's better to not know the future... The biggest thing part of me wants to know is if DH has Huntington's disease (he has a 50% chance), to help plan things financially & to prepare myself for a difficult journey ahead as more of a caretaker than a wife.... We opted not to find out with genetic testing & it was a hard choice but ultimately the right one for us (really it's HIS decision, I never tried to persuade him one way or the other) since it wasn't going to change things for our relationship or anything in the immediate (10 year) future... I knew before we got engaged what I was potentially signing up for and made the commitment to him for better or worse, in sickness or health...so I just trust God's plan for whatever happens.
Hoping @Mrsnap_515 is ok as well. We miss you!

Any new symptoms or changes? I seem to be getting heartburn regularly now when I try to go to sleep.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm planning on doing my registry in the next few weeks so I started researching baby products and all I can say is O.M.G. There is so much stuff out there! Like even stuff that you would think would be simple, like a pack and play. Graco must make about 20 different kinds. It's really blowing my mind.

Like a lot of you have said I'm not sure I would want to know much about the future, because as much fun as it would be to hear about all the good stuff I wouldn't really want to hear about the tough times. With that said I would ask about genuineness of the people around me. Like if there are any users/abusers/not nice people, I would want to know that.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Last night I bent down to pet my dog on her bed and as I was bending down, I threw up a tiny amount, totally took me by surprise, it came out of NOWHERE -a tiny bit of puke shot out across the floor. Through all my m/s I never puked anywhere but the toilet, and I always knew it was coming. It was the strangest thing. Took my dog by surprise, too! Then I felt totally fine afterwards! SO WEIRD!

For my job I forecast consumer and fashion trends so I am constantly living in the future trying to figure out and predict how people will behave and what they will want. All day at work right now I'm looking into 2019. I'm going to a conference next week about the world in 2030. Rarely do I stop to think about myself in the future, mostly its other people, ha! But I'm not sure I'd want to know too many details, other than "everything is going to be alright". My husband has a quote he collected somewhere, the author is unknown, and I love it so much, its a good motto to live by. It is, "Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end." When I meditate on the future the only things I ask for are health, and a long life. Everything else I can figure out.

Any new symptoms or changes? I have a cold and I've blown my nose so much that I've hurt my belly somehow.
Rants/Raves/Questions? There's a new Walmart between work and home and they offer the grocery pickup but I cannot figure out how to order groceries from there! Also, I'm side-eyeing the adults that were trick or treating last night and the rude kids that appeared to be out alone.

How far along are you? 21 weeks but baby is measuring 13 days ahead!! These ticker changes are a lost cause for me

Any new symptoms or changes? Flutters are daily now, and no wonder, since baby is measuring large, based on the AS on Friday. I've noticed an increase in discharge; so fun. I'm also ravenously hungry today and really tired. It's been hard to focus at work, but I'm doing my best.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I learned I have an anterior placenta, so I'll be curious to see when I start feeling kicks. It's surprising I started feeling flutters at 19 weeks, but given the rate of LO's growth, it makes sense! @Spartanrd4 My navel is still not popped, but as shallow as ever! We'll have to see whose "pops" first
I'd like to think mine will just flatten, but given that the outer edge already appears to have a bit of a lip or rim, I doubt it..

I'm with @DrillSergeantCat and others preferring to not know the future. I already struggle with appreciating the present and what I have today. Besides, I might unintentionally change my future if I'm told all is good and then not bother to work hard or worry about things that should otherwise be concerns and would otherwise be taken care of!
My husband got tested and confirmed he has the mutant Huntington's gene. Building a family around Huntington's is a long and stressful process.
