Heres ours! Posted on Thursday night and wrote up a small thing about our IF journey and what it took to get here.
Our journey to get here hasn't been an easy one but we are here.
14 months. 1 loss. Infertility diagnosis. 2 IUIs. So many tears. So many new, incredible friends who have helped me through some of my hardest days. We had a 7% success rate with our final IUI. That is the one that worked.
DH and I are beyond excited to announce that Baby _____ will be making his/her long awaited arrival in April 2017. We absolutely can not wait to hold our baby in our arms

Trying to decide between these two to share on Monday for our photo announcement to coworkers and friends. What do you all think? White or burlap background?
Family found out as soon as the second line popped up. We went with the dog theme for facebook as well. First time posting a pic while mobile bumping so hopefully it's not huge.
@elplocho Thanks! I didn't love any of the "big cousin" options on Etsy (plus I'm somewhat crafty and also cheap) so I made them - I am so in love with how they turned out!
We announced to our children and extended families on Friday and then to the "world" (aka Facebook) on Sunday. I filmed us telling our kids and posted it. My DD (5 years old) was so excited! When we told them she goes really? when? HOW? Our son did a little happy dance because he is excited to be a big brother. All-in-all it went really well. We also heard the heartbeat on Friday- a lovely sounding 160 beats per minute!
We took pictures w/ pumpkins this past weekend! Planning to share this one on social media soon but we did already share with family and friends We also have another picture of all 3 of us with pumpkins - my husband is holding Arden upside down & caption says "We're adding another pumpkin to our patch! April 2017!"
We did this stereotypical pose for our gender reveal over the weekend because I am just too dang tired to think about throwing a gender reveal party! Oh well, still turned out cute I think!
We told a lot of our families and close friends in person, but I just posted our more public announcement on social media. We included this bible verse: “From the fullness of grace we have received one blessing after another.” – John 1:16

Finally "announced" it today. It took for ever for someone to read his shirt. I even had my mom take the shirt off of him that he was wearing over it!! I finally had my mom hold him and had to tell her to read his shirt!! Everyone was pretty shocked.
@Cook3133 we had my daughter in a shirt that said promoted to big sister and my mom was fixing her shirt.. my dad told her how cute she looked.. and no one actually read the shirt.. finally after about an hour my daughter said "Nana read my shirt!"
@Cook3133 When I announced I was expecting last March (loss), I had DS wear a big brother shirt and my family caught on RIGHT away. My aunt, who is a corrections officer and notices EVERYTHING, was like "so is he wearing that shirt for a reason?" Haha!
We decided to announce today. I had thought we would wait until after our appointment Wednesday but took a leap. I figure at this point (16 weeks), we would probably tell people if something goes wrong.
I have been super anxious about everything and decided to wait until after our anatomy scan to announce. My husband loves comics and cartoons and wanted it to be like an Acme cartoon style x-ray.
