@rainbowturtles@Saralee797 Washing hair!! UGH!! FFFC: I put baby powder (yes, really) on my roots before I go to sleep so when I wake up the powder has absorbed any grease and my hair looks super clean and dry. I've found it's a cheap and lazy way to wake up feeling less like:

Of course, every now and then I use too much and up looking rather unfortunately like:

I also have curly hair which is why I try and make a blow out last for.ev.er. I have yet to master the second day curly hair look
@ChefRamsay I'm so jealous of your long curly hair!! My hair is thick and bone straight. I always wanted wavy hair so in college I got it permed. It didn't take so the next day they did it again. It also didn't take and they said "we give up". Unfortunately, the double dose of chemicals burned a patch out of my hair. No, not kidding. I have enough hair that I actually didn't notice until it started growing back and the hair was standing straight up because it was so much shorter in that one bald spot. My friends called me "Tufty". #truestory

@ChefRamsay and @Saralee797 I have curly hair, too...and it took me most of my adolescence to finally embrace it. The popularity of mousse and spiral perms in the late 80s really helped my cause, LOL. So my related FFFC is that I almost never use shampoo. I'm one of those no poo girls...I have dry skin and hair, and shampoo makes that so much worse. I do condition the hell out of it, usually ever other day. But just an occasional, weekly-ish shampoo to get rid of product build-up is all I will do.
Also, unless I've been to the gym or am otherwise really gross for some reason, it doesn't take much to make me skip the shower all together on those no hair conditioning days.

Alright, I am fully on board with the shower thing. I even cut my hair shorter because when it hits a certain length it curls naturally and then I can be extra lazy in the morning and wash it less often.
My FFFC is multi part, but all focuses on the fact that the cat is finally out of the bag as to what is going on with management in my office, and it's worse than I thought! My decision to aim for a new job just got that much more definite. The one I'm holding out hope for is still in the works but is moving like molasses in January...
So the confession part of this is that 1) this most recent decision by my bosses provides the perfect guilt free excuse to jump ship aannndd has the added bonus of supplying an unexpected, excellent reference. And 2) I had to reschedule my Dr apt from last Fri to this Fri after AF popped up 10 days "early." I didn't tell work I rescheduled and left early last Fri, and then I took advantage of our current state of upheaval to leave for 2 hours today without acknowledging my extended absence to anyone because I didn't feel like making up an excuse for where I had to go.
I hope the new job pans out, and quick, but hey, if they keep moving slowly, maybe you get a few free weeks off work over the holidays. Not too shabby.
@LuND@JulesDP - If I could, I would start one (drive-by thread) for you. Haha @swimsister - I need the name of that podcast so I can do the same thing. I have some co-workers I'd like to ignore. @rainbowturtles - What do you use to download them. The site I used doesn't work anymore.

@FLAshley Haha yay! I should really give credit to my two friends who taught me this trick But just warning you: be sparing with it at first or you really will like you're wearing a powdered wig - that gif was only half a joke!! Just put a little at the roots (I go around my face and down my part) before bed. If you need to freshen it up in the morning/during the day, put some in your hairbrush before brushing which helps distribute it and work it in more quickly. I recognize this sounds somewhat insane... but I swear it works for me!

@pepper16 and everyone else who loves dry shampoo/not washing your hair/baby powder - In college I learned that flour would also work in a pinch instead of baby powder. I don't quite know how I experimented with it....
Now I am able to just shampoo my hair once or twice a week (unless I've had an intense workout) and condition the other days.

@Pepper16 noted: do not pour baby powder directly from bottle on head ! I got this ! Actually glad you told me this or I would have been totally pissed and cut for time if I had of winged it.

@Pepper16@FLAshley@Tennis11785@wabash15 another tip - if you have brown hair and want to avoid the 'powdered wig' fashion statement - you can mix cocoa powder in with cornstarch (or your baby powder) so that it's got a nice brown tint. You still don't want to go overboard with it (brown powdered wig is only slightly better than white powdered), but it does make a difference.
@virginiaham fellow scardy cat over here hey! I do the same thing. Also I freaked myself out after searching Halloween make up on Pinterest. I just wanted to look like a cat or something cute and all this freaky shit came up! LIKE NO YOU WILL NOT MESS WITH MY SLEEP
