I'm kind of paranoid I'm starting one when there's already one here (like I did last week) but I swear I didn't see one, so here goes.

GTKY: What will you be for Halloween, if anything?

How far along are you? 12 weeks (or a bit less)

How big is baby? ha, I don't know...someone else chime in and tell me

Appointments this week? I have one on Halloween. I'm anxious about it because even though we've seen a heartbeat, I still wonder...this is the "we're safe" one as far as I'm concerned, and we'll start telling people after it.

Symptoms? Today might be the first day I don't really have morning sickness, for a change! It's been a rough time. I had been hoping to be done 2 weeks earlier. Insomnia is a bit better, too.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I had planned on asking about morning sickness relief in the form of drugs or something, but I really do think it's starting to go down now.

GTKY: What will you be for Halloween, if anything? I'm not sure I will be anything. There is an adult Halloween party on my block this weekend and costumes are encouraged, so I might find something witch-like. DS will be a dragon for Halloween and DD will be a ballerina. (And before you judge me for gendering my kids, they chose what they wanted to be, with zero input. We're all about gender neutral, but we're more so about doing what they want to do. I wonder if it's because they were reading the Berenstain Bears book about Halloween a bunch last month and that's what brother and sister bear were! DS has been into dragons for a WHILE now, though.)

How far along are you? 13 weeks

How big is baby? Between 2.9 and 3.5 inches in length.

Appointments this week? Just had my NT scan today and saw the little baby wiggling all over the place! It was pretty relieving actually because I had a strange and unexplained episode of spotting/cramping yesterday that put me in a place of worry like no other! Even after going in to verify the baby was ok, I still couldn't shake the worry. But at my NT scan today, the doctor also looked at the placenta and uterus, and verified there were no abnormalities. ...wow what a roller coaster of emotions the past 24 hours has been.

Symptoms? Generally my fatigue is getting better, but my nausea is getting worse. I'm also starting to gain a little weight.

but I guess it's just par for the course.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Anyone else have weird symptoms so far?

GTKY: What will you be for Halloween, if anything? No Halloween parties for me this year. Just passing out candy and watching the Vikings game with my husband.

Appointments this week? none this week, although I did get joy of doing a 24 hour urine catch this last Monday. Nothing like walking into the OB office carrying 24 hours worth of waste.

Symptoms? I started getting some random pains, nothing to severe. After talking to the nurse, I think it's round ligament pains. I just never remember feeling them in my previous pregnancies. I wonder if that is simply a result of not being as active this time around.

GTKY: What will you be for Halloween, if anything? I will just be passing candy out at my son's school's trunk or treat. DS1 will be superman and DS2 will be a cookie. I am however decorating our minivan with a Lorax theme.

Appointments this week? Nothing for a few weeks.

Symptoms? I think (maybe) the overall fatigue is lessening, which is nice. I made it up until 8:30 last night which hasn't happened in WEEKS! Preggo brain seems to be kicking in pretty heavily, though, which is making for some very interesting meetings at work. I just left one where a customer asked us who our financial backer was, and I stared at him like he had three heads. I knew the answer, I just couldn't get the words to form!!

Rant/Rave/Questions? My hubby has been amazing this week. He's starting a new job next week, and arranged his start date so he had this entire week off. Instead of relaxing, he's been working so hard to get some things organized and cleaned up around the house. It's all stuff that needs to be done before we can really start any kind of baby prep, and it's really so nice to know it's not hanging over our heads.

GTKY: What will you be for Halloween, if anything? A tired pregnant lady! I'm probably not dressing up this year. We have a group of friends we always celebrate with, but we usually head into downtown to do so. I'm not really in the mood to make that drive, just to hang out at a crowded bar. I think we're going to lay low and visit with some family who is in town.

@ChristinaWild I feel you with the pregnancy brain right now. I sent my friend a picture, she responded, and I literally couldn't remember what the picture was anymore to form my own response.

@kat81 I'm glad your morning sickness let up! I'm looking forward to that myself.

@ScientistShesus I'm glad to hear everything was alright after your scary day. I'm so looking forward to our 12 week visit, because I feel like I'll actually be able to stop worrying and let myself be happy at that point!

How big is baby? Strawberry

Appointments this week? None, but I did some lab work for some genetic testing.

Symptoms? Same ole' - nausea, fatigue, mild stretching/cramping at times, sciatic pain on the left, and an endless appetite. I feel like I already look pregnant. It may just be weight gain and bloating, but it sure looks like baby belly to me.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Leggings! I literally bought my first pair about a week ago, and now I have 5. Normal pants just don't cut it right now.

GTKY: What will you be for Halloween, if anything? I'm being seaweed. Weird, I know. I'm visiting a friend in California, and we're going to an Atlantis-themed party. I was going to be a mermaid, but I didn't really feel like having a bare midriff at this point. So, I sewed a bunch of fake plants onto an old skirt and shirt and will be an unflattering blob of seaweed, instead.

Appointments this week?

-I had my first appt on Monday! I felt like I was the last one on this board to have an initial appt. My doc couldn't find baby's heartbeat with the Doppler so he got out the ultrasound. Everything looks good! It was so cool to see baby's heart beating!!! I still can't get over it. I could have watched that all day. Next appt will be right before Thanksgiving.

Symptoms?
-Nothing new, still tired and some MS when I don't eat every 2-3 hours.

Rant/Rave/Questions?
-I finally told my parents (my mom knew but my dad didn't) Friday night and it took awhile for my dad to absorb the news. Now he's very excited though since this will be his first grandchild. H also told his parents this week and they are excited as well. We are telling my siblings tomorrow night

GTKY: What will you be for Halloween, if anything?
-I don't get into Halloween, except for the candy part. I do love the good deals on chocolate!

How far along are you? 12 weeks! Can't wait to clear the first trimester!

How big is baby? Plum

Appointments this week? None this week; next one is 11/8

Symptoms? My all-day nausea has decreased a bit, which has actually caused me to feel anxious! I still get quite nauseous around dinner time and until I go to bed at night, but I've been feeling oddly more normal in the mornings. My last pregnancy was 6 years ago and I can't remember how soon I started to feel better that time.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I have gained too much weight over the past 3 months.

I was previously running 3 miles nearly every other day, but had to give up running in lieu of walking and that combined with eating crappy, I have gained more than I should and I'm disappointed in myself. I am determined to start eating better now and hopefully I can at least not make matters worse.

GTKY: What will you be for Halloween, if anything? I'm not dressing up this year, but will enjoy bringing DD trick-or-treating (she's going to be a leopard).

How far along are you? 11 weeks

How big is baby? A little lime

Appointments this week? I just did some blood work this morning and they took about 10 vials! I don't remember it being that much with my last two.

Symptoms? Still some nausea, but it's getting better. I'm sooooo tired all the time. I actually fell asleep while my boss was talking to me over the phone. Luckily, it wasn't anything important (at least I don't think so).

Rant/Rave/Questions? I hate that I constantly feel like I'm running around. It's wake up, get the kids dressed and off to school, work, pick up the kids, cook and eat, bathe the kids, then it's time for sleep. DH gets annoyed that I can't stay up to watch a show or just hang out with him but I just don't have the energy.

GTKY: What will you be for Halloween, if anything? I haven't dressed up for Halloween in years. I'll be trick-or-treating with my girls who are dressing as a princess and a cute little strawberry.

How big is baby? The size of a strawberry

Appointments this week? Not until 11/21, which seems like forever away!!

Symptoms? Tired, sick to my stomach in the morning and if I go more than 3-4 hours without eating.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Yay for being 10 weeks and 1/4th of the way through pregnancy but it still doesn't feel very real. I feel like all I do is worry about this LO inside of me but I have little control over what happens to them, such a strange feeling!

GTKY: What will you be for Halloween, if anything? No dressing up for this girl! DH and I will be passing out candy, mostly me because I love to see all the little kiddos and their costumes

@NurseK2016 my next appt is on 11-21 as well! I ditto everything you said in your rant/rave too. It's crazy to think we are 1/4 done with our pregnancy.

Appointments this week? nothing this week but first hospital appointment next week to change my care over to them from my doctor

Symptoms? this is my second so seems so much more full on this time! I already have sciatica, feeling pretty rotten every morning and towards the night, breasts are sore occasionally and my tummy is already getting bigger!

Rant/Rave/Questions? I hate that I cant make it through a full day without seriously needing some form of nap!

So late on everything this week- sorry!
How far along are you? 10 week

How big is baby? Raseberry

Appointments this week? I think I may have bloodwork this week? DD#1 has an appointment with a neurologist this week- super anxious- once we make past that I will be more focused.

Symptoms? Just tired/ sore from
being on my feet. I am still having unreal cravings and appetite is insane- I have gone through 2 jars of pickles in one week!

Rant/Rave/Questions? I have been at my job for 10 years and getting burnt out. It is very demanding and huge responsibility. I am already having major anxiety about next year with having three separate drop offs. DD #1 has been at my school since she was 2 and now she will be 45 away (crazy work commute). I am considering leaving the school at the end of the year. I have worked so hard to this position but it just seems time. I still want/ need to bring an income- anyone watch children out of your home? Would love to hear how it works out for you.

GTKY: What will you be for Halloween, if anything? We are going with the wizard of oz theme- DD1- Dorothy, DD2- Glinda, Me- wicked witch and DH was going to be the scarecrow but he found his old Macho Man Randy Savage so he is wearing that...
