CD: 16 (now I am really waiting for O, any day now..)
WAYDTGKU: charting (BBT, CM, OPK), PNV, BD
R/R: Both actually: this past week at work has been crazy busy. Which is good in a way, because I actually enjoy that some changes I initiated (regarding the way we operate) are working out and I'm involved in new responsibilities. But on the other hand: will I ever-ever finish my tasks, and have the rewarding feeling at the end of the day/week that "it's DONE!" ?? All in all I'm fine it's just like I'm focusing on 3-4 things at a time. (this is also why I'm let's say part-time participant here.. mostly just get to reading the new posts and then I'm swept away :P )
CS/Q: Not at this time, but thanks everyone for the answers for my last question I Actually managed to make progress! (it was about examining CM)
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Oh, there are 2, and I know they are both quite common, but it is definitely Holiday, and Love Actually (_perhaps_ in that order if I must). I love them both so much! Kate Winslet is so adorable in Holiday, and well, I'm just a sucker for good romcoms. Looking for something like these two for years now - so come on ladies, pitch in!
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015
WAYDTGKU: Taking my thyroid medicine... kind of benched.
R/R: I just don't know. I am having cramps. My left ovary has been giving me sharp pains all cycle. I tried to convince myself it was just a cyst, but now I'm not sure. Playing wait and see is terrible, and I'm kicking myself for not temping this cycle.
CS/Q: No chart to stalk. No questions to ask.
GTKY: Lol, Christmas? I know some people in my facebook feed would fly off the handle if they were asked this question in October! Not me though, I love Christmas. I don't think I have a favorite Christmas movie, actually. Every year I try to watch at least one, and there's a tradition to watch one that my room mate picks out. First year it was his favorite movie, The Hogfather. The year after that it was... you know I don't remember. But last year was Jingle All The Way. I have always loved Rudolph, my dad loves Yukon Cornelius.

R/R: It's FRIDAY! And H has an unexpected night off tonight so he will be in town! Unfortunately I have to spend all day tomorrow at the car dealership getting some stuff done on my car. To the tune of almost $700. Ugh. I hate adult-ing sometimes.
@GeorgiaWife6912 - adulting is the WORST! Good luck with the car....I just had a fix that was quoted at $1000, but one of the things they were fixing, they had fixed less than 2 years ago and shouldn't have gone out, so I got it down to $600 because I just paid for the "warranty" that they didn't offer before and do now and got them to replace parts on the new warranty. The worst!
Month/Cycle: 8/6
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU:
R/R: In-laws. Just UGH. 100 hours...not that anyone is counting. FIL talks so loud (and about stuff no one else really cares about...like in depth about boats or cars or fixing things or whatever) and then MIL tells him to "stop talking, no one cares about that." So it's annoying and so sad that that's their relationship. How DH ever turned out as good as he did coming from that house, I will never understand. Don't get me wrong, I love them. But in smaller doses than this.
CS/Q: Wondfo's come today, so I'm sure I'll be asking how to read them tomorrow after I try one.
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Easy! t's a Wonderful Life. I LOVE Christmas movies, but this is for SURE my favorite. "every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings!" -said in Zuzu's voice
R/R: Rave, today should be an easy day. We only have evaluations in the morning, so I can take today as a writing day and catch up on reports!
CS/Q: Nothing yet, waiting to O next week
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Its not really a Christmas movie but it happens at Christmas time- The Family Stone.
@Anna_1021 Congrats on figuring out your CM! It can only help you figure out your most fertile times! @purplg8r Hope you get some sleep @LadyMillil Your WAYDTFKU made me sad. Sorry nothing is working and I hope you find something!! @Mythril I hope your pain goes away @GeorgiaWife6912 putting money into cars is the worst! @KhRun17 Oh the IL saga continues!!!

R/R: I am irrationally upset about the preview for Married At First sight's reunion show next week. I am ridiculous for being upset that a particular couple doesn't appear to stay together.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Claymation Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, White Christmas, Love Actually, and Elf. There is no way I could choose just one. My favorite Thanksgiving movie is Planes Trains and Automobiles though
@Anna_1021 those are good choices! If you're a fan of romcoms and adorable leading ladies, Serendipity is one of my fav Christmas movies-- have you seen that one??
@LadyMillil sorry you're not feeling hopeful Internet hugs
@Mythril sorry you're having a long, confusing cycle Hope you get some clarity soon!
@GeorgiaWife12 you threw me off for a second by saying it's Friday Yuck about the car but yay that your H is home!
@KhRun17 the wondfos aren't too bad...I found once I saw what a positive actually looked like then it was easy to distinguish, tho sometimes I wonder if I should count the near positives as positives. GL! Also, It's a Wonderful Life is a classic but I haven't seen it yet!!! Adding it to the list for this year
Month/Cycle: 4/4 TTCAL
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV, DHA, Maca, cm/cp, green tea, feminine balance tea, opks, BD when possible
R/R: only bonus to not being able to fall back asleep is I get to bump early lol I actually woke up at 2am and thought it was 5am, which is usually a good thing, but not when you feel wide awake! Also, I appear to be having one of those cycles where my boobs start to hurt almost immediately after O, which means two weeks of boob pain, so I'm slightly annoyed!! Other than that, everything is fine; just trying to remain positive and hopeful!
CS/Q: I'm certain I O'd on CD11 (all signs line up) and had the corresponding temp spike CD12, but a dip CD13, and now my temp is up again CD14--- so basically a fallback rise. But because of that, FF won't give me crosshairs until I have two more high temps (and then I'll be at 5dpo). Frustrating! Should I wait here or go to TWW?
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? I'm with @GeorgiaWife12 , I love ELF! But I love a LOT of the Christmas movies. We basically make a list and watch them all during December! As I said above, I also love Serendipity. Some others: Fred Claus, Four Christmases, the classic Rudolph, Scrooged,..and so on lol
WAYDTGKU: HIO ED, preseed, CM, CP, temping, CBAD OPK
R/R: Rave- only one class today! And it's student-led discussion, so I only have to read the assigned texts and gently move the conversation along. Yay! Oh, and free lunch (I was invited to have lunch with a visiting scholar). Free food, minimal work=good day!
CS/Q: EWCM, soft CP, and solid smile starting on CD 17. I thought that I Oed yesterday (possible ovulation cramps on CD 17 and 18, EWCM, HSO CP yesterday). I slept terribly last night. I usually go to bed around 11 and temp at 6:30, but I couldn't fall asleep until around 2:30 and woke up abruptly at 6:00. My temp didn't spike this morning (97.2 --> 97.33) and I am not sure if this is because I didn't O or if crappy sleep prevented a visible temp spike. Scant CM, LFC CP, and open circle on CBAD OPK with FMU this morning. I suppose I need to wait it out and see what happens tomorrow. Has anyone else had this experience?
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Die Hard. DH and I also have a tradition of watching The Godfather and The Godfather Part II during the week of Christmas.
WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, CP, HIO, OPK, B complex, magnesium, PNV, Preseed
R/R: Post and ghost due to camping, but will edit and respond later! Just wanted to say I managed to temp with 3 other adults within a couple of feet and took 3 OPKs in a cabin with 20 kids. I feel like a champ!
CS/Q: Nope, but I may have a question tomorrow! Temp rise, but I think it was due to sleeping in layers and a sleeping bag. I normally have a spike of about .5 when I ovulate, but FF wants to say O was yesterday if I get two more similar temps to today's. I went from 97.36 to 97.68 without what I would call a positive OPK, but 6 days of nearly positive. Now today's has faded to almost nothing. Still no EWCM. No tears, pretty decent sleep, no major cramping... I am gonna call my body's bluff. We will see in the am!
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? I always watch Rudolph, Frosty, and Elf. As I mentioned in my FFFC last week, I refuse to watch Christmas shows / movies, listen to the music, or decorate until after Thanksgiving.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@cmorris07 I second pinterest for Whole30 recipes. That's where I got all of mine when I did it. @rainbowturtles sorry! I guess I should have said It's (MY) FRIDAY! haha. I would stay wherever you feel comfortable. At least when you get your CHs it will seem like your tww is shorter! haha. @KhRun17 It's the 100k mile stuff. So belts, filters, fluids, etc. Plus an oil change. Stuff that has to be done and no way to really get around it unfortunately. Ugh! Also... your ILs sound like peaches! Hopefully the rest of their trip goes by quickly. I do have to admit, I like reading your daily updates/rants ha. @JuneRoseRuby yay for easy days at work! @Mythril I hope your pain goes away soon! @hupp0013 I'm with you on the Married at First Sight!!
R/R: I decided to take the night off from BD last night since we were only at CD11 and I have Not O'd before CD15 and OPK was neg yesterday. well this morning the OPK was blazingly positive! This is the first time I have ever had the test line so much darker than the control line. Usually my test line gets as dark as but not darker than the control line. DH and I have a lunch "date", but he forgot the diaper bag for day care and had to come back to get it so now he's not sure he can make lunch today. If lunch doesn't happen I'm going to have to make extra sure that I make things happen tonight!
CS/Q: not yet... if this is a false surge then I'm going to O late this cycle... if not then I will be early...
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? I am with @Anna_1021 and @LadyMillil Love actually is my Jam. I could watch that movie over and over.
@GeorgiaWife6912 glad you get an extra evening with DH! sorry about the car @khrun17 hang in there, your almost done!. I would be happy to help if you have questions with the wondfos also you can PM me pics, I don't mind) @cmorris07 I think @BusinessWife did the whole30 a little while back @rainbowturtles what ever makes you happy but if your confident you O'd you could move over or wait here till you get CH...

@Anna_1021 - We're doing all this productivity stuff at work, and thought it's frustrating to lose whole days at a time to meetings instead of just being able to get work done, it's cool to be involved in changing and improving things. Especially stuff I've wanted to improve for years. FX O comes soon for you! @LadyMillil - flu shot sucks. I spent the whole day after I got mine wondering why my arm felt bruised before it clicked. @Mythril - I didn't temp my first cycle this time around, because I thought it'd make me more relaxed. Ha! @KhRun17 - I didn't use any kind of OPKs before, so I was convinced I'd never be able to figure them out. But I saw a bunch of people say that once they got a positive, they had no doubts and that's been true for me. I think they're much easier to interpret after you've gotten your first positive. @JuneRoseRuby - I The Family Stone. I watch it every year at Christmas time.
Month/Cycle: 3/4

WAYDTGKU: Charting BBT, CM, CP; OPK, PNVs maybe Preseed, attempting EOD during FW (though it hasn't worked out that way in the past)
R/R: Rant: DH can't just let me be excited about hosting Thanksgiving, he's got to start adding to the stress already. So I'm just going to ignore him for now.
CS/Q: Nothing to see here.
GTKY: My favorite Christmas movie has to be the old black-and-white Miracle on 34th Street. Followed by White Christmas. And The Family Stone. I can't stand Christmas Story (sorry to anyone who loves it, but I just don't get the appeal), but DH subjects me to it multiple times a year.
@lboalboh If your CP is still high, you may not have o'd yet because it should lower. I am certainly not the expert, but I feel like crappy sleep would lead to more movement and therefore a higher temp which wouldn't be accurate. You still got more than 3 hours of sleep, so I would think your temp is closer to accurate. @adirat is usually pretty helpful!

@khrun17 I love my in laws but don't think I could hand,e them in one long span like that's. my H has to do that with my parents as they live out of town and like to come and stay with us for a week at a time. RR: Ita my sons 1 year check up today! H had to work late last night an a didn't get home until 1230. We BD even though we were both exhausted. I'm glad we got it in. I had some super confusing OPK results yesterday (positive on a cheapie around 11am and a barley there line on a FR around 230) Had a little spike in temp this morning but nothing crazy. Guess we will see He slept in this morning which wasn't kind of nice, we actually got to see him since it'll be another late night for him.
CS/Q: I kinda tackled it all in my rant. Has anyone had such opposing OPK results only hours apart before?
GTKY: Firstly, its way to early to be talking about Xmas, it's not even Halloween! But... the grinch is my fav. I love bad Santa as well! It's hilarious

WAYDTGKU: hio, prenatals... I think I ovulated but I couldn't temp this a.m. since I woke up at like 3 and was tossing and turning till I finally got up at 5 and went to the gym... so FF wouldn't notice a temp spike at this point. funny how as soon as it's prime time for temping I just can't sleep and have all these interferences with my data... but the 5 pointless days of temping beforehand were beautiful
R/R: I got up and got to the gym this a.m.!! I'm glad to have it out of the way!
CS/Q: if I miss a temp during what I think is the 3-days of elevated temps... how does that affect ff?
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Rudolph!!
WAYDTGKU: Sex (as much as we can handle ha!) OPK's and vitamin D.
R/R: Sorry this is a bit 'Dear Diary' today ladies, but I'm in a proper stinker of a mood! So, not only did I have the wrong cycle/month in my previous WTO/TWW (I was a month behind myself grr!) but I've been awake since 4.20am with AF cramps! Really thought this could have been our month, I had literally none of my "usual" AF signs until my nice 'wake up' call this morning! Just to add insult to injury further (and this sounds SO ridiculous I know!) but I had the most vivid dream last night too that I had taken a HPT, and it was a big bright positive! So, when I woke up to those familiar and very unwanted cramps, I felt flatter than a ran over pancake! Happy CD 1 to me! Ugh.
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Oh this is a tough one?! I would have to say either 'National Lampoons Christmas Vacation' or 'Scrooged'!
@cmorris07 I loved doing the whole30! One of my favorites were paleomg.com and then definitely Pinterest has a ton of ideas. My advice would be to keep it simples! I did meat sauce over zucchini noodles most nights and lots of eggs for breakfast.
R/R: AF is gone so it's go time on BDing every other day! My DH is a typical guy and has no idea how this works so for these first couple months, I'm keeping him in the dark about my efforts to not stress him out
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Rudolph and also the grinch

KhRun17 That sounds awful. My in-laws visited for two weeks this summer. TWO WEEKS. I was nice and patient at first, but my patience quickly waned. I started disappearing for hours. I also started passive aggressively cooking (i.e. cooking things that I knew they would dislike). I am a terrible person.
cmorris07 one of my FB friends has done Whole 30 twice. I am really impressed by her food photos. I want to try it, too!
@LadyMoo so sorry for CD1. Its so hard when you either have all the pregnancy symptoms or absolutely none of them and its so easy to go BSC then have a big let down with AF. Treat yourself well today.

It's a rainy cold day so just feeling kind of blah. The weather really affects my mood so much.
CS/Q:
Temp rise this morning so fx it keeps going and I O'd yesterday. Makes for kind of meh timing though.
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? I love Christmas movies! There is no way I can pick one, but I have several I MUST watch each year. Love Actually, Christmas Vacation, and all the old kids ones (Rudolph, Charlie Brown, Grinch, etc.) Honorable mention to Bad Santa and Elf, and A Claymation Christmas (from the 80s featuring the California Raisins). In another category, my favorite ones to watch with DS/as a family are The Snowman (I watched this as a child and it's beautiful, gorgeous music), and The Polar Express.
CS/Q: Okay, so I think I was finally able to see the forest through the trees. I think I O'ed on either CD 15 or 13. I leaning towards CD 15 because I got a sorta-dark ovulation test. I have never turned a test before. My breasts also inflated from CD 13-CD 18 and that usally only happens after I O and only for a few days. Either way I think I will wait one more day before moving over to TWW.
Is it a bad sign if my body is not producing enough LH to turn an ovulation test?
Here is my chart. It could use a good stalk. I'm not using FF becuase my DH wanted to be involved with the charting process, and decided to write his own code (he's a scientist lol). Blue = Sex and Red = AF. Sorry if it's huge.
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Die Hard
@Anna_1021 Glad you got CM/CP figured out! I still struggle with CP sometimes, but the longer I've been doing it, the more confident I feel. @GeorgiaWife6912 Ugh to adulting. Seriously. @rainbowturtles I was WIDE awake at 2 a.m. too! I actually thought it must be closer to 6, then I saw the clock. Eew. @lboalboh Yay for a good day! R/R: After a super stressful day yesterday, today is all raves! DH kept his job (YAY)!! Unfortunately, they lost 6 people, including his colleague who was hired about three months after him. It was definitely a close call, but we're very grateful. Then, we got a call at about 7:45 p.m. that we got chosen to adopt the dog we fell in love with! We still have some hoops to jump through today (we live in a city with stupid breed specific legislation) but as long as all goes according to plan, we'll have our pup by tonight!!
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? I'll second @KhRun17 - It's a Wonderful Life hands down. Holiday Inn might be a close second, but nothing beats It's a Wonderful Life for me.
@Dinosaur it could be CD15 with a slow rise... hopefully tomorrow's temp is higher, if not then I am an not totally convinced that you O'd yet. I don't think it means there is a problem if you don't turn an OPK, I think there are just some women that don't. Fx your temp is up tomorrow. do you check CM?

@LadyMoo Sorry for CD1! A cycle or two ago I had the same HPT dream and then woke up to spotting, so I understand the feeling!!

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, CM/CP, OPKs, trying for EOD
R/R: So, it would appear that I ultimate failed in regards to deciphering my OPKs last cycle. Which would also mean that I ultimate failed on timing last cycle. So boo for wasted cycles, but hooray for learning experiences!! This also makes me feel like my cycles may finally be starting to go back to what they were pre-BCP, which is also exciting.
CS/Q: No thank you!
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? I have to go with A Christmas Carol. Growing up my grandmother and I would watch it every year after Thanksgiving dinner, and that was kind of our kick-off to the holiday season. It really became a tradition that I would want to continue with my own children. Elf would definitely be a real close second though.
R/R: Not really anything. I've been here lurking and reading, but haven't been posting much. Life has been hectic, work has been crazy, and trying to do it all has been a little exhausting. But, I've been really trying this cycle and having all the sex LOL
CS/Q: I took a break from temping this cycle, so there's not much to look at.
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Oh man. I think the really old school one called "The Night They Saved Christmas". And add that to another thing I'm upset over. I'm one of those crazies that goes all out, and I normally have my tree up by now (I save the rest of the decorating for around Thanksgiving, but the tree always goes up early because I love it so much) and not is giving me major anxiety. And yes, I'm totally serious. ha
@RunRestRepeat That is awesome about your H keeping his job! @Dilynne Oh man, wisdom teeth! Bad memories! Hope your H heals well. @haylsbayls That keeping your H in the dark thing is smart... wish I could go back in time and try it myself. I think I've been stressing mine out too much. @LadyMoo Sorry for CD 1. Right there with you @hqinmd MH got the same way when we hosted last year and now we have to travel and he's wishing we were having a repeat of hosting instead!

WAYDTGKU: A lot. Because
of temping issues I am basically going BSC overboard on the food and lifestyle
stuff to make up for it. Or that’s what I’m telling myself anyway. I also quit
caffeine today and we’re reducing alcohol this month (boooo).
R/R: Looking forward to starting a new cycle because my last was just... wrong. Also not being KU now means I won't be KU when I visit my hometown next month. I have to go for a family wedding and haven't been there in 5 or 6 years. I really don't like it there and the idea of being there KU was not fantastic, especially with all the airplanes. Also alcohol. Trying to look on the bright side.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Scrooged.
@KhRun17 I have to admit that I kinda enjoy following your IL visit saga. Mostly because I can totally relate to dealing with obnoxious extended family/friends. For me, extra wine helps. And, with Wondfos, it's not considered "positive" unless the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. Last cycle I tested 2x per day and kept them on the toilet tank so that I could see the progressive darkening of the test line. It's not entirely foolproof because sometimes you wonder if the test line is dark enough to be positive, but you should be able to see when O is imminent if you do what I mentioned above. Of course, I've never been KU, so take my advice with a grain of salt
@cmorris07 Pinterest is my go-to for recipes of any variety. LOT'S of whole30 recipes on there.
@rainbowturtles I say it's entirely your call on when to move to TWW. Although, selfishly, I'd love to see you in here for a couple more days
CD: 12 (@wabash15 I'm a lost cause. I insist on looking at my chart even when you post first....because I'm obsessive.)
WAYDTGKU: all the stuff. Added Preseed to our BD yesterday.
R/R: Yesterday was an assigned BD day (doing EOD), but I got home for work and DH was getting ready to leave for a volunteer firefighter's meeting that I'd forgotten about. So, we decided to quickly HIO before his meeting. It was awkward because we'd just gotten our Preseed in the mail and I wanted to try it out.... so it was a "hey, can we bang before you leave? Yes? Ok great. But wait, here's some goo that comes in very unsexy packaging that we need to use. *smears goo in a few places* Um, ok go for it." Ladies, this is the stuff of romance novels I tell you! So glamorous.

CS/Q: Not at this time, but thanks everyone for the answers for my last question

The worst!
Easy! t's a Wonderful Life. I LOVE Christmas movies, but this is for SURE my favorite.

Ugh.

Either way I think I will wait one more day before moving over to TWW.
Is it a bad sign if my body is not producing enough LH to turn an ovulation test?

We still have some hoops to jump through today (we live in a city with stupid breed specific legislation) but as long as all goes according to plan, we'll have our pup by tonight!!
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? I'll second @KhRun17 - It's a Wonderful Life hands down. Holiday Inn might be a close second, but nothing beats It's a Wonderful Life for me.

R/R: H's wisdom teeth did not go well yesterday. Poor guy - they got one out of five out and they maxed out his sedation. They were lovingly calling him the Hulk because they couldn't get him sedated.

GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? The Santa Clause with Tim Allen. Loved it.

And yes, I'm totally serious. ha

Right there with you
@hqinmd MH got the same way when we hosted last year and now we have to travel and he's wishing we were having a repeat of hosting instead!

WAYDTGKU: A lot. Because of temping issues I am basically going BSC overboard on the food and lifestyle stuff to make up for it. Or that’s what I’m telling myself anyway. I also quit caffeine today and we’re reducing alcohol this month (boooo).

@cmorris07 Pinterest is my go-to for recipes of any variety. LOT'S of whole30 recipes on there.
@rainbowturtles I say it's entirely your call on when to move to TWW. Although, selfishly, I'd love to see you in here for a couple more days
@lboalboh I love your "non-traditional" GTKY!
@NYTino24 well done!!! Very impressive TTC behavior
@wabash15 your timing should still be good either way!!! FX!
@MrsN092714 I have no words of wisdom, but I'm sorry the OPKs are being super confusing! Good job HIO just in case!
@Nelbetron great job getting up early and going to the gym! I envy your dedication!
@LadyMoo so sorry for CD1. I've had the dream of a blaring BFP right before AF shows up too. It's a cruel trick.
@wvrn1216 GL in TWW!

CS/Q: nada
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? I'm not a big Christmas nut, but I like Elf and Home Alone.
