I recently watched Train wreck and thought it was funnier than I had imagined it would be. I also watched the Revenant recently and thought that was amazing!

Symptoms?

Still tired but slight nausea has subsided. My breasts are finally getting sore. With DS they were sore since week 4. With this pregnancy, it finally started happening this week. I'm also super constipated!!!!

Rant/Rave/Questions?

The waist on my jeans are starting to feel tight. I hate this in between phase where your regular clothes are getting snug but maternity clothes are still way too big.

GTKY: What's the best movie you've seen lately (doesn't have to be new--maybe it was just new to you)?

The most recent movie I watched was The Danish Girl... not saying it's the best one I've seen... it's just the only one I've seen in months. I do want to see The Girl on the Train though. DH went to see it w/ his mom when I was out of town!

Hey there, Tuesday friends!

How far along are you? 12 weeks

How big is baby? A chicken nugget! My ticker always makes me crave whatever is in it...

Appointments this week? None until mid-November.

Symptoms? Still a little bit of nausea. Every time I think I've passed it, it comes back to bite me. Also, still exhausted. And lately it feels like my muscles are...jittery? Maybe? And mostly at night. I looked it up and it seems like RLS in pregnant women is somewhat normal, but it is SUPER annoying and uncomfortable.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Mostly just feel like complaining because I have no idea what we are going to name this little nugget. With my son, we had names picked out before we even knew if it was a boy/girl. Now we know this little one is a girl and I feel like it's going to be impossible to name her. I don't even have a top 5 list because I just don't like anything. And I know it's crazy to be fixated on it this early, but it feels strange compared with my last pregnancy when I was SO set. And now, of course, I hate the girl name I had picked if the last one had been a girl...lol...I'm blaming the pregnancy hormones. ;-)

GTKY: What's the best movie you've seen lately (doesn't have to be new--maybe it was just new to you)? We watched The Conjuring over the weekend--not new, but new to us and I thought it was pretty scary. We haven't actually been out to a movie in a LONG time...

As of the last three days I have had zero nausea!!!! (YAY) other than that occasional sore breast and RLP.

Rants/Raves/Questions.. I have one rave, no nausea for the last few days!!! One Rant still suffering from a horrible head cold but feeling much better today!!

GTKY: DH, DD and I recently watched zootopia and I think DH and I enjoyed it more than DD. It was such a cute movie!!!!

Rants/raves/questions? I'm going to see Adele this weekend!!!! I'm so excited!!!! But I'm also wondering if I will be able to go the whole weekend without my sister and my friend figuring out that I'm pregnant...

GTKY- best movie I've seen lately?
Well, I haven't seen a movie in theaters since Frozen (the day before daughter was born, actually!) I honestly can't remember the last movie I watched at home either! I guess I'm more of a TV show fan. Currently rewatching Gilmore Girls on Netflix, in anticipation of November's reunion.

Symptoms?
I had 4 days of energy and no dry heaves and thought maybe I was out of the woods, but they came back in a big way last night and this morning.

Rant/Rave/Questions?
Rave: We finally told my in-laws on Sunday. We were nervous about their reaction, as it is not always what you would expect, but they were both excited. It felt like I was in the twilight zone (or the upside down for fellow Stranger Things watchers), because my normally a dink of a father-in-law seemed to beam with excitement and smiled.

GTKY: What's the best movie you've seen lately (doesn't have to be new--maybe it was just new to you)?
I do not end up seeing many non-cartoon movies, because I am more of a tv watcher. @HLD3194 I just re-watched Trainwreck over the weekend. That moving is hilarious. Lebron James cracked me up! As for cartoon, we watched Room on the Broom (on Netflix) a few times recently. It's a short narrated by Simon Pegg and it is very good.

Symptoms? Lightheaded and tired - I'm also sick with a cold so I'm miserable

Rant/Rave/Questions? How can I get DD out of my bed and into her toddler bed? We're going to paint her room this weekend and get it all set up with a toddler bed and decorations all over. (we just moved 2 months ago so we're still in the process of settling in) I'm hoping a new room with fun decorations and a pretty new bedspread, MAYBE she will sleep in it? At least for a few hours

Appointments this week? Nope--not until our NT scan on 11/8. We had our first ultrasound last week and it was great! Started to feel real and at least a portion of the anxiety started to lift...I almost feel human again

Symptoms? Mild nausea, food aversions (my goal is for one meal of "real" food per day), sharp pains here and there (maybe/hopefully RLP)

Rant/Rave/Questions? We got to hear the baby's heartbeat on a home doppler last night! We weren't expecting to find it yet, but after an evening full of sharp pains and homework, we just decided to give it a go as a reward. It was so fun to hear it whooshing away in there!

GTKY: What's the best movie you've seen lately (doesn't have to be new--maybe it was just new to you)? We recently saw "The Big Short" and have now watched it several times (H likes to watch movies over and over, a habit I've picked up too). It's just really well done, entertaining and informative (and also infuriating). I recommend it!

Symptoms? Increased tt frequency. I think I got up 3 times last night to go BEFORE I fell asleep!

GTKY: What's the best movie you've seen lately (doesn't have to be new--maybe it was just new to you)? It's like pulling teeth to get my husband to watch a movie. A few weeks ago, I 'surprised' him with one from Redbox.

Symptoms? Primarily congestion right now, although that's probably allergies. The only time I really feel nauseous and/or get sick right now is when I'm trying to clear it out (like blowing my nose this morning).

Rant/Rave/Questions? I guess a rave? I feel like I've been better about stressing less this week. I've also felt less anxious and hope that my blood pressure is benefiting from that.

GTKY: What's the best movie you've seen lately (doesn't have to be new--maybe it was just new to you)? I watched the new Blair Witch about a month ago and it was actually really good! I also enjoyed The Danish Girl recently. I haven't watched too many movies lately but DH and I love Black Mirror on Netflix - the episodes can be pretty dark though.
@Squirtgun I am SO excited for Gilmore Girls! They released a new trailer for the new episodes today.

Symptoms? Sore boobs and intermittent pulls/twinges in my abdomen. Queasiness is still not completely gone (like @kipperoo says) but definitely better than what it was.

@blissfulberry - YES! I am on my second round of nose/throat yuckiness since I've been pregnant. It grosses me out to have to cough up stuff even when I'm not with child, but to do it now sends me into a gagging fit.

I laid in the bed coughing for probably 30 minutes last night, and my sweet husband raided the medicine cabinet and brought cough liquid. I had to tell him I couldn't take that one, and he was SO SAD!

@mrsrep123 I'm crossing my fingers and toes that she'll want to sleep in her room for even just a couple of hours at night. I'll start with naps during the weekends but slowly try to get her in that bed at nighttime. I just want her out of the room before #2 starts sleeping in our room.

That was sweet of him to try to find something for you. I feel like my DH is often asking me if I can eat/take something before I do, even completely safe and normal foods lol
